We came together from all walks of the earth, from Georgia to California, from Puerto Rico to Japan, from Australia to New Zealand. We came together as a whole, to make sure we found you. While you are both no longer on this Earth with us, we will never forget you. We will always remember those sweet faces that everyone shares and has fallen in love with. We will lift your family up in our thoughts and prayers and make sure that they know they're loved beyond imagination. And I personally, along with an army of supporters will make sure that we continue to honor you and make sure justice is served. We will forever keep your legacy alive and strive to be better people and love more. Someone once said that when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Expose the False prophets or not? What does “shooting their own wounded” mean? If it means that Christians sometimes fail to be patient with the weak, we can all probably say that we have been guilty. If it means that Christians sometimes criticize a fellow believer instead of trying to help him, it happens too often; and we need to be reminded often that God is not pleased with such things. If, on the other hand, it means that it is wrong for a preacher to identify and warn of those who are teaching error or walking in compromise, it is nonsense. In the ministry of warning, I have never injured a wounded person and I have never shot anyone in any sense whatsoever. To charge me with doing so is to confuse warning, reproof, and correction with assault. I understand the military, and what I am doing has absolutely nothing to do with shooting one’s own wounded. The leaders that I warn about are not wounded; they are willfully and steadfastly committed to error or compromise and are influencing others. (By the way, they don’t mind “shooting” back!) The Lord Jesus Christ taught His people to beware of false prophets (Matt. 7:15). When a preacher obeys this command and attempts to mark and warn of false teachers, is he “shooting the wounded”? No, but those he warns about and those who are sympathetic to them will charge him with doing so. In 1 and 2 Timothy, the apostle Paul names the names of false teachers and compromisers 10 different times and warns about them (1 Tim. 1:20; 2 Tim. 1:15; 2:17; 3:8; 4:10, 14). All of the men that Paul warned about claimed to be Christians and it is likely that they felt that Paul was being unfair and mean-spirited in singling them out. When Paul warned Timothy that Demas had abandoned him because he loved this present world (2 Tim. 4:10), Paul was not shooting at a wounded Demas; but worldly Demas and his associates might have changed him with this. The Lord has commanded the assemblies to exercise discipline toward unrepentant church members who are committed to gross sin and error (1 Corinthians 5; Titus 3:10, 11). Is that shooting the wounded? It is oftentimes considered so by those who are the objects of the discipline and by those who are sympathetic to them; but proper church discipline, though severe, is not destructive. It has a three-fold goal of glorifying Christ in His church, purifying the congregation, and bringing the sinner to repentance. The Lord has instructed us to identify those who are saved but who are walking in disobedience (2 Thess. 2:6). Is that shooting the wounded? Those who are disobedient commonly mistake correction for persecution and reproof for assault. Paul rebuked sin in the churches in letters that were anything but private. His epistles to the individual churches were distributed among all the churches (Colossians 4:16). Therefore, when Paul told of how that Demas had left him, having loved this present world, it was a public matter. When he rebuked the believers at Corinth for their sin and compromise and error, it was a public matter. When he warned of Alexander the Coppersmith, it was a public warning. Some matters are private and they should be dealt with privately, but other matters are public and should be dealt with publicly. If a man writes a book that influences people, that book should be critiqued publicly. If a man has a public ministry that influences others, that ministry should be critiqued publicly. “Was our Lord shooting the first century churches in Revelation 2 and 3 when He walked in their midst and exposed their sins and failures, and commanded them to repent? The kindest and most biblical thing a faithful servant of God can do is expose unscriptural conduct to lead to repentance, lest God step in and judge severely and chasten in a most severe matter. I think the worst chastening that we could receive from the hand of God is if He would just leave us alone and let us go on in our compromise. We are told to conceal our fasting - to do it in secret. Is that what churches are doing with the Daniel Plan? Matthew 6:16-18 (KJV) "Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance; for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash they face; 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto the Father which is in secret: and they Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly." In the diet there are good foods and there are bad foods. Is that what God tells us? Yes I get the junk food vs real food. But for purposes of this blog post I am discussing real God created food. Mark 7:15 (KJV) tells us "There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man." The goal of the diet suggests avoiding meat so that your fasting connection to God will be greater and more complete. But I Cor 8:8 (KJV) speaks differently to us "But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse." God is telling us spiritually if we eat it or not, it will not make a difference. What is the Kingdom of God about? Let's look to Romans 17:14 (KJV) "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." Hebrews 13:9 (KJV) "Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein." Rick Warren has enlisted the help of some very popular Eastern and New Age spiritualists. These people will be found and followed by many millions of people in the church who lack discernment as to the truth of God's Word and will run the risk of discovering many of the dark pagan practices and "healing" methods that they teach. These men lead Christians down one path, and that is to the occult. There are many Biblical health experts that could have helped him to create a book that could be used by the members of the church (and other Christians) who would not lead them away from Gods truth. Why did Rick choose these men? Could it be the "birds of a feather" concept? Shepherds that do this to their flock are called wolves. Christians, we need to watch who we follow and what we engage in and promote. This is no small issue. Heresy is rushing into the churches all around us. Few are noticing that it is happening. It's time to study like the Bereans did to make sure that you are in fact entering through the narrow gate and not travelling the wide path that leads to destruction. Fulfilled Prophecies of the Last Days By Carl Worline Prophecy is history written in advance. Bible prophecies about what is going to happen in the end times were written from 1900 to 3500 years ago. God challenged anyone else to come up with prophecy like that which is found in the Bible. God offers this to us as proof that He is who He says He is. The Old Testament tells us that God gave us prophecy so that the people of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other. Bible prophecy is given to mankind in order to help validate and authenticate the word of God and it is a promise as well as a prediction. Christians who study prophecy and eagerly look forward to the coming of our Lord will earn the Crown of Righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8). I. for one, really want the privilege of having and wearing that crown. The Bible is absolutely unique. No other religious writings of any kind contain predictive prophecies like the Bible. Not the Islamic Koran or the Hadith. Not the Jewish Tanaka or the Talmud. Not the Hindu Vedas or the Bhagavad Gita. Not Confucianism’s Five Classics or the Analects. Not Taoism’s ao-te-ching, or Zhuangzi, or Daozang. Not the Druze Rasail al-hikmah (Epistles of Wisdom). Not the Shinto Kojiki or the Nihon Shoki. This is the first time in history that all of the prophetic scenarios that the prophets predicted are actually in view. We are being plunged into a period of time about which the Bible says more than about any other period in history, including the time when Jesus walked the shores of Galilee and climbed the mountains of Judea. Everything is now coming together in the perfect prophetic storm. We are, quite literally, being plunged into the climax of human history. There is prophecy in each and every book of the Bible. The Second Coming is mentioned in 23 of the 27 books of the New Testament. Of the 46 Old Testament prophets, less than 10 speak of Christ’s first coming, but 36 speak of His Second Coming. Jesus said that He was coming back again 21 times in the New Testament. If Jesus says this we should truly believe Him. The Bible clearly teaches that the understanding of end time prophecy will be progressive in nature. We will understand more of the prophecies as we get closer to the time of their fulfillment. Daniel did not understand the prophecies that had been entrusted to him. When he complained to the Lord about this the Lord told him to not worry but to write them down as instructed because they were sealed until the end times. As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said “My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?” And He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time (Daniel 12:8-9 NAS). Jeremiah was also told that his prophecies would not be understood until the end times. The anger of the Lord will not turn back until He performed and carried out the purposes of His heart. In the last days you will clearly understand it (Jeremiah 23:3). The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back until He has performed and until He has accomplished the intent of His heart. In the latter days you will understand this (Jeremiah 30:24). We are now in the last days of the end times. In order to understand what is happening we have to look at them from two perspectives. One of these perspectives is the prophecies that have been fulfilled with respect to Israel. The other perspective is all of the other fulfilled prophecies that deal with the last days. Fulfilled Prophecies of Israel in the Last Days For the first time in history an extinct nation came back into existence. Israel became a nation once again exactly as God promised (Joel 3:1-2, Amos 9, Jeremiah 31, Ezekiel 36). God restored Israel as a nation in a single day, exactly as promised (Isaiah 66-8). Prior to restoring the nation of Israel the Hebrew language was on the brink of extinction. Once again, just as God promised, the Hebrew language was restored (Zephaniah 3:9). The Bible predicted that during the Jewish Diaspora Israel would become a wasteland (Deuteronomy 29:23-28, Ezekiel 36:8-11, Ezekiel 36:34-36). For nearly 1900 years Israel became a nearly uninhabited, desolate wasteland. Today the land flourishes far beyond any of her surrounding neighbors. The Bible predicted that Israel would blossom in the last days and export produce to the world (Isaiah 27:6, Isaiah 35:1-2, Ezekiel 36:34-36). With God’s blessing Israel’s increased rainfall and irrigation technology have caused the land to blossom. Israel exports $800 million of produce each year and over $200 million in ornamental plants and flowers. The Bible predicted that Israel would prosper economically (Ezekiel 38:12-13). Israel exported $42 billion dollars worth of goods in 2006, as compared with her neighbor Jordan, who exported $5 billion dollars worth of goods in the same year. Eighty percent of Europe’s citrus imports come from Israel. The Bible predicted that Jerusalem would be rebuilt in the last days on its old ruins, which is exactly what happened (Jeremiah 30:18, Zechariah 12:6). Ezekiel told us over 2500 years ago that in the last days the Arab people will claim the land of Israel which God gave to the Jews (Ezekiel 35:5, 10; 36:2,5). The Bible says that in the end times Israel will be in possession of Jerusalem. This happened on June 7, 1967 as a result of the Six-Day War (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, Revelation 11:1-2). The Bible predicted that Jerusalem would be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled (Luke 21:24). From 70 AD until the Six-Day War in 1967, Jerusalem was under Gentile control. The Bible says that in the last days the possession of Jerusalem will be a major source of international conflict (Zechariah 12:3). Zechariah called Jerusalem a burdensome stone and a cup of trembling. Over 2,500 years ago God knew that in the last days Jerusalem’s very existence would cause the world to shudder even though it is a small city with no natural resources, no port, as well as having insignificant manufacturing and industrial capabilities. Prior to 1948 world diplomatic leaders seldom mentioned Jerusalem. The Bible also tells us that in the last days Israel will be embroiled in peace talks that will include many nations (Daniel 9:27). Ezekiel prophesied that Jerusalem’s Eastern Gate would remain closed until the Messiah returns (Ezekiel 37:15-22). Today, as prophesied, the Eastern Gate remains sealed. The Bible says that in the last days all of the friends that Israel had will be gone, abandoning the Jews (Jeremiah 30:14). The Lord warned Israel that it would be hated and persecuted by all nations because of Him (Matthew 24:9). Today we see the Gaza Strip and the West Bank partitioned off for the Palestinians and the Golan Heights partitioned off for Syria. Jerusalem has also been partitioned with the Palestinians adamantly demanding East Jerusalem for their capital. The Bible says that in the last days Aliyah will be taking place. Aliyah is a Hebrew word that means the physical return of the Jewish people (Jewish Diaspora) to their ancient Promised Land from abroad. Ynet News recently reported that 2014 was a record year for Aliyah (Ezekiel 36:22-28 and Isaiah 11:10-12). The Bible says that in the last days world politics will be focused on Israel (Zechariah 12:13). Israel will be surrounded on every side by enemies. The alignment of all of the nations mentioned in Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 against Israel has occurred exactly as Asaph and Ezekiel described. God said that in the last days Israel would be invincible (Zechariah 12:6-9). Since 1948 tiny Israel has been attacked in 3 major wars and several lesser wars. Yet, despite being vastly outnumbered, they have defeated all attacking foes. An invincible Israel makes no sense unless you believe God’s Word. Even though Israel will be the focus of many fulfilled prophecies in the last days, most Jews will remain blind to the fact that Jesus is their Messiah until the very end (Luke 19:41-42, Luke 13:34-35, Romans 11:25-26). Other Fulfilled Prophecies of the End Times Jesus, Himself, told us that we are to watch for general indicators that will be a signal to Christians that we are, indeed, in the end times and that the rapture is near. What are these general indicators? Earthquakes will increase in frequency and intensity and will be occurring globally (Matthew 24:7, Luke 21:11, Isaiah 24:19-20, Revelation 6:12-14, Revelation 16:18-20). Matthew 24 and Luke 21 speak of strange weather occurring in the last days. Can anybody deny that our weather today can only be described as supernaturally freakish? Even more frightening is that our weather seems to be becoming even more freakish with each passing month. Our freakish weather seems to be contributing to an alarmingly large number of forest fires all around the world. Trees that are many hundreds of years are now gone. At the moment, as I write this, Australian firefighters are battling the worst wildfires in 30 years. Romans 8:20-22 tells us that creation, itself, longs to be free from the curse and suffers from the increase in frequency and intensity of natural disasters that are not specifically named. Unexplainably strange sinkholes are opening up in places all around the world. Equally as strange are sounds that are being heard all over the world that have no apparent source and come from no apparent direction. Joel 2:30 tells us that in the last days there would be signs in the heavens and in the earth that would include, among other things, “fire” and “pillars of smoke.” Volcanic activity has been increasing at an alarming rate in frequency and intensity as formerly dormant volcanoes come back to life. Pillars of fire and smoke are closing large blocks of airspace to commercial air traffic. Hosea 4:1-3 tells us that in the last days the land will mourn because of man’s sin and that all who live in it will waste away. Hosea told us this will include the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and even the fish in the sea will die. Mass animal die-off were first reported in the news on New Year’s Eve 2010/2011when approximately 5,000+ red-winged blackbirds and starlings fell out of the sky in Bebe, Arkansas. In 2011 there were 138 reported cases of mass animal die-offs. In 2012 the number of mass animal deaths rose to 465 events that occurred in 67 countries around the world. During 2013 there were 798 reported mass animal death events that occurred in 93 countries. In 2014 there were 649 reported events of mass animal deaths that occurred in 76 countries. Matthew 24:7 tells us that famines will be common in the last days. Currently, one out of every six people in the world does not get enough to eat. Aid agencies estimate that as much as one-third of the earth’s 6 billion people are victims of starvation. Every day 34,000 people die from famine related causes. The Bible tells is that in the last days deadly diseases (pestilence) will be rampant. Examples of current deadly diseases that are spreading include AIDS, Ebola, Hanta virus, dengue, West Nile, SARS, bird flu, cholera, yellow fever, mad cow disease, lyme disease, drug resistant strains of many old diseases, and many more. Diseases we considered conquered, such as polio and the plague, are making a strong return. In sub-Saharan Africa 23 million children are infected with the HIV virus. Ironically, just a few decades ago scientists were forecasting that advances in medicine might soon eradicate deadly diseases (Matthew 24:7, Revelation 6:8, Luke 21:11). We were warned that many will rejoice in their unrighteousness (2 Thessalonians 2:12). People are now calling good evil and evil good. A perfect example of this is the way homosexuality and same sex marriage is being forced upon us as an honorable and even preferred alternative lifestyle while those who see homosexuality as sin are labeled as homophobic (Isaiah 5:20). Homosexuals are so proud of their sin that they march in the streets demanding to be recognized as a special, privileged class (2 Peter 3:3-4 and 2 Timothy 3:1-5. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 says: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves...without natural affection.” I interpret this verse as a reference to an increase in homosexuality throughout the world in the last days. We are warned in the Bible that there will be a falling away of believers and an increase in false prophets (2 Timothy 4:1). Many Christians and church doctrines have departed from the faith. Many Christians have also become lukewarm in their faith (Revelation 3:15). There is now a mixture of true believers and false believers within the church body (Matthew 13:24-30). As foretold in the New Testament, despair is increasing (2 Timothy 3:1). There has been an increase in lawlessness and evil during these the last days (Luke 17:26 and 2 Timothy 3:15). The world is getting darker and waxing more evil by the minute. The swiftness with which the darkness is setting in is unsettling. We were told that there would be an increase in blasphemy (2 Timothy 3:2). Sadly, this has come to pass. Unimaginably filthy things are openly being said about our mighty God and our precious Savior. Those who worship Satan are coming out of hiding and finding new ways impose their beliefs and agenda upon us. There are now public places in our great nation where satanic displays are allowed at Christmas and where Satan is invoked at public meetings. Humanity has become increasingly materialistic and lovers of pleasure (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Idolatry has been common place. Idolatry is worshiping anything or anyone other than God (Revelation 9:20). We worship the rich and famous and long to be like them instead of being like people of God. The love of many has grown cold (Matthew 24:11-13). Abortion kills millions. Feeding the homeless and hungry is becoming a crime in some places, punishable by fines and imprisonment. We find it more important to turn corn into ethanol to use as fuel in our automobiles while so much of the world’s population is dying from starvation and starvation related causes. False Christs and false prophets are very effective in the art of deception (Matthew 24:24). False prophets and religious cults now flourish (2 Peter 2:1). It is very common today to find people who reject the Bible out of hand because they have heard it misrepresented by false teachers. The false prophets mentioned above are money hungry, smooth talkers (2 Peter 2:3). A growing number of TV evangelists epitomize this. They twist the Scriptures to make merchandise of the unwary. There has been an increase in the persecution of Christians in these last days (Matthew 24:9). Jews and Christians are hated for their faith in and connection with Christ (Luke 21:17). Today Christians are being killed in Islamic nations around the world in an ever increasing escalation of violence and murder. Christianity now faces extinction in the Middle East and in other places around the world. Jihadist groups throughout the Islamic world have taken it upon themselves to slaughter those who are preaching the gospel. Mankind is desperately seeking peace (1 Thessalonians 5:3) but yet there is still warfare all over the earth (Mark 13:8 and Matthew 24:6). It is estimated that more people have died in wars during the 20th Century than in all other previous wars throughout all of recorded human history. Today mockers of prophecy and the Word of God abound (Jude 1:18 and 2 Peter 3:3-4). Many Bible scholars believe that Zachariah 5 and Zachariah 14 strongly indicate that mankind will have nuclear weapons in the last days, especially when these chapters are examined using the Strong’s Concordance with a Hebrew lexicon. The Bible tells us that in the last days many will deny that God created the earth or that God once flooded the Earth (2 Peter 3:5-6). Today science and Christianity have become bitter rivals. Science attempts to claim the moral high ground by citing “facts” while hypocritically refusing to consider any fact that is linked in any way to scripture. Children have certainly become disobedient and rebellious (2 Timothy 3:2). Humanity is now able to cross the globe rapidly (Daniel 12:4). Our skies have become so crowded around the world that it is often difficult to safely separate aircraft, even with the use of computers. A system of real time global communication now exists (Revelation 11:9). Today information travels at the speed of light. In the apostle John’s day information traveled at the speed of a donkey. Science is now rapidly advancing (Daniel 12:4). It is conservatively estimated that the sum of man’s knowledge is doubled every 18 months. Technology already exists that is capable of tracking the world’s population and finances (Revelation 13:16-17). This technology is currently being developed at an alarmingly fast and efficient pace. It just hasn’t been forcefully imposed yet. The gospel is being preached to all nations (Matthew 24:14, Mark 13:10, Revelation 14:6). The Bible has been translated into 2,400 languages and dialects covering over 90 percent of the world’s population. Satellites and the Internet have also played a major role in bringing the word of God to all nations. Huge oil and natural gas reserves have been discovered beneath the sands of Israel. The Bible says that in the last days the world will be headed toward a one world religion (Revelation 13; 17:7-18; 18:1-8). Today we see a movement called Chrislam that attempts to find common ground that will allow Christians and Muslims to co-exist and is based on the assumption that we both worship the same god. That is a lie from the very pit of hell. There are the strong beginnings for a push toward a worldwide global government (Revelation 13:1-2; 17:12-13, Daniel 7:23-26). Before He was crucified, Jesus told the Sanhedrin that they would not see Him again until they said, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Luke 13:35). This indicates that the Sanhedrin would have to be in existence before His Second Coming. The Sanhedrin were dispersed, as was the entire Jewish nation, after the Temple was destroyed in 70 AD. In 2004 the Sanhedrin formally came back into existence. Conclusion The proverbial writing is on the wall and it is telling me that the end of the Age of Grace is at hand. The pause in Daniel’s timeline that occurred at the 69th week is about to end. God has taken a people unto Himself during that pause and the fullness of the Gentiles is now being reached (Romans 11:25 and Acts 15:13-18). The stage has been set and the actors are in place. Bible prophecy has been fulfilled (and continues to be fulfilled). The entire world senses that something big is about to happen. Christians who are awake and watching are waiting with eager anticipation for the Rapture of the church. Sleeping Christians find restful peace illusive due to a stirring in their soul that they just cannot escape. Atheists are angry because they also feel that something is just not right. Even the mockers are angry. There are far too many signs that the Age of Grace is about to end for them to ridicule. Every prophetic sign seems to point to an imminent Rapture. Salvation is currently a free gift to all who will admit they are sinners and sincerely ask Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. What is your personal relationship with God? Jesus said when you see these things begin to come to pass to lift up your head and look because your redemption draws near (Mathew 24:33, Mark 13:29, and Luke 21:31). But we who belong to the Lord must come to Him with our fears, anxious thoughts and troubles. He says “Fear Not” throughout His Word. We all watched the horrific events which happened in France. The Islamic terrorists love to instill fear in people all over the world. They want us to be crippled by fear, wherever we are. They want to keep us off balance, looking over our shoulders when we are out. I wish I felt that things were going to get better. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.” - Psalm 56:3-4 This passage of Scripture speaks to us, the body of Christ. We love and trust Him. We praise His Holy Word. HE is Creator of the Universe, and yet He is Abba Father (Daddy) to us! He has written our names in His Book of Life! Glorious! Compare that to what mere men can do to us. The very worst they can do is kill us. As I’ve heard others say, that will simply change our address. “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” - 2 Corinthians 5:8 HE is with us! “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” - Deuteronomy 31:6 When I read the passage from above, I always think of Stephen who was stoned for his faith in Jesus. Stephen Put to Death “When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.” - Acts 7:54-60 Stephen endured the pain of being stoned, but his focus was on that which he saw in heaven. He was overcome with joy, knowing that he would soon be with his first Love. He was so filled with God’s love, that he asked Him not to hold the stoning against them! “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” - Psalm 27:1 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” - Isaiah 41:10 “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” - Matthew 10:28 I see some Christians who are fascinated by conspiracy theories. I believe that the Lord does not want us reading about things that may happen, and of which we have no control. We are giving the devil room for his fiery darts when we focus on things which bring fear to our hearts. God’s Word chases Satan away, and fills us with peace that only God can give. We belong to Almighty God! Isn’t that the most glorious thing in the world? He never sleeps and is watching over us every minute of every day. “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” - Romans 8:15-17 Suffering Will we suffer in this life? Absolutely. Our Jesus suffered on that horrid Cross for SIN that He had never committed; and willingly! He knew what was waiting on the other side of the Cross. He knew that His sacrifice would result in reconciling us to His Father. He gave us His righteousness. We deserved hell. LOVE sent Jesus to that Cross! The Apostle Paul knew that his suffering would advance the message of Salvation. He knew the impact his imprisonment would have on those who were watching. They wondered “How is this man still worshiping his God?” “But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places; And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear. Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will.” - Philippians 1:12-15 What do you fear? “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” - 2 Timothy 1:7 Do you fear the Muslim Jihadists? How about our own government? Do you fear retirement? Do you fear for your children who have walked away from God? In 2 Timothy 1:7, God is telling us what He has not given us, and what He has given us. He did NOT give us a spirit of fear. He DID give us power and love and a sound mind! 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” Can you remember before you were born-again from above, how the thought of death brought you such anxiety? If you were anything like me, you were convinced that God was going to punish you harshly for all of your sin, and cast you into hell. I love the part of 1 John 4:18 which said “Made perfect in love.” Those who do not know Him, are not made perfect in love — they fear punishment, and rightly so. They find themselves still under the law, which they cannot keep. They feel doomed to failure and the fear of punishment looms over them. Those of us who belong to Christ know that we were “perfected in Love” - HIS Love! The better Covenant of Grace perfected us and made us holy. We know that we can approach the Throne of God boldly. We know how much He loves us. He showed us how much when He sent His Son to pay the penalty for our sin, so that when we leave this body, we can stand in His presence - clean and blameless! So, the next time you are overcome with fear, read the Words from our Lord which comfort and assure us that He is with us, and He will not ever leave us. Brethren, this is true. God cannot lie. When His peace sets in yet again, do what Paul did all of the time: “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” - Philippians 4:4 MARANTHA! Blessings in Yeshua

This is a lie from satan and Christians must understand (but not fear) that we can do battle against the forces of witchcraft and be set free from the curses placed upon us by witches, warlocks, wizards, satanists and any one else sending witchcraft curses to us, our families and our churches. Jesus said that He came to give life and that the devil came to steal, kill and destroy. The Word of God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...," therefore this part of our web site is to give God's people the knowledge of His Word so they will not be destroyed. As a Christian, we are suppose to, and do, simply RETURN all evil to the sender, seven fold, in the name of Jesus. Note we are not SENDING, but RETURNING. Quite a big difference. If you don't want it back, don't send it. Within God’s Word, we find TRUTH to grow in Him, and to be kept safe from the lies of Satan. God tells us in His Word what will happen in the future. He always warns us about heresy being taught and received as truth. This passage of Scripture speaks of the Berean church: “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” - Acts 17:11 Emerging Churches In the attempt to make the church more relevant for people today, this movement has incorporated mystical practices such as mantras, the burning of incense, meditation and much of the practices used in Yoga. The term started as Seeker churches. Just get them into the church building - so what if the Bible isn't stressed. So what if repentance of sins is glossed over. At lease they are in church, right? WRONG. Our God and His Word does NOT need gimmicks. Christianity stands on its own. His Word does not change, and watering it down is certainly counterproductive for the Gospel. Slippery slope syndrome is a phrase I often use. The Christians begin to pick and choose the Scriptures they like, and gloss over or completely throw out others; they are on a very dangerous slippery slope away from God. Brian McLaren, known as the father of Emerging Churches tells a story of his daughter coming home from college. They get into a conversation about hell, and she asks him how could a good God allow it? She doesn’t want to believe that her unbelieving friends will go there. Before long, this girl has convinced her dad that hell keeps people away from the church. He is totally on board with this, and very excited. Makes a person wonder if McLaren had any strong conviction about God’s Word in the first place. The view of no hell is certainly not a new one. It is call Christian Universalism, and has been around for a very long time. With Slippery Slope Syndrome in place, falling away from doctrines of the church becomes quite easy. Bringing in Eastern Mystical practices seems the thing to do. The Emerging church is apostate. If you find yourself in one, search the Scriptures and ask the Lord to show you through His Word. Remember - HIS WORD NEVER CHANGES. Then I pray that you will leave that church! The Mainline Apostate Churches I will simply name the churches who are not following the Word of God. They teach Replacement theology, detest Israel and boycott products manufactured there, ordain gays as clergy, and many are pro abortion. Here is the list: Southern Baptist (depending upon leadership) Presbyterian USA Methodist Lutheran Church of Christ Episcopal I’m sure that some of you are saying “She put Southern Baptist churches on the apostate list!” And Yes, I did….and I’ll tell you why. Do you think that Satan is content in corrupting just the mainline church denominations? Of course he is not! He wants to deceive the Baptists, who to many of us could NEVER be fooled and corrupted. We should not underestimate the craftiness and deception of the father of lies and the author of confusion - Satan himself. Apostate Southern Baptist Churches Rick Warren of Saddleback Church, has had a detrimental effect on many Baptist pastors. Since the day that Purpose Driven Church came out, he has been sending his propaganda to leaders of Baptist churches all over America. Many of them took the bait, and have his programs in place in their churches. When studying the list of signatories of a Chrislam document, I noticed the signature of a Baptist Pastor from the FBC of the City of Washington, D.C. His name is Jim Somerville. I saw Rick Warren’s signature, but was not surprised. The signing of that document was from 2008, and today, Pastor Somerville is pastoring Richmond’s First Baptist Church - a church of more than 1000 members. [1] source I contacting him by phone to ask him if he believed that our God is one and the same as Allah. Obviously annoyed with my call, he told me that they are indeed the same God. He said that Christians view God through the lens of Jesus Christ, while Muslims view Him through the lens of Muhammad. I offered to give him Scriptures from the Word, and passages from the Qur’an that would show conclusively that this was not true. He became furious with me and told me that he would not allow me to lecture him. A good friend of mine in the Lord contacted Pastor Somerville’s staff to notify them of his errant beliefs. There were no responses to the email, save one which simply said “Stop emailing me!” Pastor Somerville wrote to my friend and accused me of slander. I wrote to him and told him that I saw the accusation, and that both of us knew what was said during the phone call. Here is part of his response to me - I copied it from his email to me: " I do remember telling you that I believe there is only one God, the maker of heaven and earth, and that “Muslims view the one God through the lens of the Prophet Muhammad while Christians view the one God through the lens of the Lord Jesus Christ.” At the end of his email to me, he wrote: "I don’t talk about Allah in the pulpit. I don’t teach my church that God and Allah are the same. I don’t say anything about Islam or the Quran. I’m a Christian pastor. I teach and talk about Jesus." When I read that, this Scripture came to my mind: "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee." - Proverbs 23:7 I dug a bit deeper in Jim Somerville’s website and blogsite and noticed some startling things. He was the pastor who came up with “A sermon for every Sunday” website. When I opened this site, I saw that there were about 13 pastors who had come together to offer sermons for shut-ins and churches who had no pastor. Pastor Somerville was the only Baptist pastor - the others were a conglomeration of Emerging and Mainline Apostate pastors. I immediately thought of the saying “Birds of a feather, flock together.” [2] source While looking through Pastor Somerville’s blogsite, I came across some things (I wish I could say shocked) that disappointed me. Please know that I am not coming after this man for the sake of coming after him. My heart BREAKS for the 1000+ people who are sitting under his teaching, Sunday after Sunday - many of which may be baby Christians who are holding onto his every word. I found this poem on his blogsite. It is a poem by his friend which touched him. I decided to call the Southern Baptist Convention, and attempt to speak to someone there about accountability in the SBC churches. I was connected to a man who told me that because the SBC had so many churches affiliated with it (well over 100,000) that each church was considered to be autonomous. He made it clear that the SBC would never go after one leader or one church. The most that could happen was if they saw that one of their churches was so doctrinally wrong, they would simply ask that church to not state an affiliation with the SBC. When we hung up, I wondered to myself about the souls of the congregations of these apostate churches — didn’t they matter? Wouldn’t Jesus say that these who were teaching doctrine opposed to the doctrine we received in His Word, should be disciplined and set right or removed? Brethren, if you love God and His Word, and you are not one of the itchy ear crowd, I beg you to question your church leadership about essential doctrines of our faith. Or maybe you have friends or relatives in one of these churches. I believe that the Lord would have you share truth in a loving way with them. You may be the only person who ever tells them the truth! Let me say this - there are many solid and Biblically based Baptist churches still out there. But I am trying to make the brethren see that it's up to them to make sure that what is being preached is from God's Word! You don't go to church to hear the opinions of man. It's hard to find a word to truly describe you -- but grace is something that flows deep within you. You are a truly remarkable soul and the world is lucky to have you!

Number one, those of you that really are afraid of losing your independence. You may not have much, life may be a struggle but at least you make your own decisions. They may be wrong decisions but they’re your decisions. Are you really prepared to let God into the decision making process? Are you willing to let God . . . Are you willing to be like that girl in the pastor’s office, are you willing to put your hand right up and say, “I surrender. I lay down my independence. I don’t know what you’re going to ask of me but I’m prepared to accept it in faith. I trust you.” Then the other kind of people, and you may be one and the same, are people who’ve reached the point of desperation. You’re here this morning and you have no answers. You’re facing situations and you just cannot handle it. There seems to be no way whatever that you can resolve it. What about letting God in? What about giving Him a chance? What does He ask of you? He asks of you what He asked of the Israelites at the Red Sea, “Cry out.” Call upon Him. Say, “Help!” Sometimes we’re too respectable to pray a cry of desperation. But you read the psalms; they’re full of cries of desperation. No one uttered them more often than David, that great warrior, that man of God. Time and time again he said in effect, “God, if you don’t help me I’m finished. I have no other help. God, come to my help.” So I want two kinds of people. If you want, you don’t have to. Those of you who say, “Well, Brother Prince, I never really laid down my independence. I’ve been religious, I’ve tried to do good, but I’ve always been in control of my own life. I’ve never let Jesus come in and make the decisions.” And then there are those, you’re here this morning and you’re desperate, and you know you’re desperate. I want to offer help to both of you. So now if you need help this morning just come and make it known. Come to these people here at the front, walk right out of your place wherever you are. If you’re in two categories: you want to lay down your independence, “God, I’ve tried long enough. I realize it doesn’t work.”; and the other category is those who are desperate. Now I’m going to pray for all of you and then I want you to make a move. Don’t sit there and wish you could do something, do it. Lord Jesus, we thank you that you’re so available this morning, you’re so close to us. You really want to help us. You are trustworthy, we can trust you. Lord, I pray for those who need your help, those who need to lay down their independence and those who need to cry out to you in a desperate situation that you will release them to come to you in faith this morning. Let everything that would hinder them be bound, every alien force, all pride, all fear, let them be bound and let the people that you want to come be released right now in the name of Jesus.

Donna Schmier I have observed several things while being a face book addict-- People from all walks of life come here they vent (as do I at times) and SAY they want change but they are NOT willing to take the first step--they want others to do it for them. I am seriously considering leaving this social media face book--I MUST and WILL spend my efforts and time pleasing the MASTER and not the secular media. HE is leading me in this direction.
