Rapture ready

Why Is “Fear of God” the Beginning of Wisdom? By Gene Lawley Solomon writes in Proverbs 1:29 that the fear of God is the beginning of knowledge. In Proverbs 9:10, he says it is the beginning of wisdom. The closest and most concise direct scriptural definition is Proverbs 8:13: “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil.” But, what does that mean, you may quickly ask? The absolutely perfect moral character of God described as holiness, purity, perfection, honesty, integrity and much more, is unchanging, and demands the utmost respect and reverence of mankind. It is impossible for God to lower His own moral standards to man’s level. Romans 3:23 does say, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” you fully realize, right? Thus, when man begins to hate evil, he is stepping up to a new level of understanding of his relationship with God and how this fits in with the world around him. However, as we know all too well, that raging, relentless and savage cry of our flesh to love sin is an ever-present matter in our lives. The fear of God is more closely aligned with a fear of being alone, without God. Or rejected by God—which makes the promise of Psalm 34:7, one of great comfort to the humble believer: “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.” And true wisdom is knowing that being on God’s side in life’s travels is of utmost importance; the beginning place of wisdom. The respect and reverence for God’s righteousness that we often associate with the fear of God takes on new meaning when we realize how easy it is to turn away from the Lord to our own fancies (though we really know better). Thus, Solomon also writes: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6). I think “ways” in this verse means more than pathways—but attitudes, motivations, purposes and decisions. Psalm 103:7 says: “He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.” (One only sees the actions of God from afar, not His ways.) In Romans 1:18-32, Paul writes of the end results when mankind rejects the presence of God from their lives, and the lusts of their flesh ravage their total beings, bringing them to a horrible end. The context of Proverbs 1:22-33 also details how it spins out: “For scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge. Turn at my rebuke; surely I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make my words known to you. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded; because you disdained all my counsel and would have none of my rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity. I will mock when your terror comes. When your terror comes like a storm, and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you, then they will call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD, they would have none of my counsel and despised my every rebuke. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies. The turning away of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them. But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil.” It is no wonder, then, that Jesus would include in the model prayer He taught the disciples, the phrase, “but deliver us from the evil one” (Matthew 6:13), and Jabez, that obscure individual of ancient Israel would lodge a request with God to “keep me from evil that I might not cause pain” (1 Chronicles 4:10). Let’s recap the unfolding pattern of spiritual growth that a believer experiences in a “normal” Christian life that leads to a healthy “fear of God” concept in daily life. A person hears the gospel, is convicted of his sins, turns to Christ for forgiveness, repents and is born-again. Lots of details and finer matters of doctrine go into all of that, but Titus 3:4-7 seems to sum up the process to this point: “But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Paul identifies the believer’s position, then, in this manner: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Peter then writes: “As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby” (1 Peter 2:2). In his first letter to the Corinthians, Paul challenges them on their carnality—living by the works of their flesh: “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able…” (1 Corinthians 1:1-2). The writer of Hebrews also writes in chapter five of that audience’s lack of growth beyond the “milk-for-babes” stage and identifies it in verse 14 as a lack of application of the truths of the Word of God: “But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” As a believer “puts off the old man and puts on the new man by the renewing of his mind” (Ephesians 4:22-24), in the leading of the Holy Spirit into all truth (John 16:13), he will discover that the old man, the carnal flesh of his former life, can contribute nothing, absolutely nothing, to his relationship with God. As a matter of fact, the robes of self-righteousness are as filthy rags in God’s eyes. We believers spend unreasonable amounts of time trying to get our old man of a sin nature, which is spiritually dead but not in the grave, to behave and act religiously and it just does not work! Like the thin, fine line between love and lust, we seem to hover over it like a tight-rope walker until we finally understand Paul’s statement in Romans 8:5-7: “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” In the previous chapter, chapter 7, Paul had captured in detail his own struggle with the failure of his flesh to submit to the law of God, whereupon, he uttered these words of extreme desperation, followed by his total submission and abandonment to God: “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin” (Romans 7:24-25). Therefore, I submit that the fear of God, in its true sense, kicks in when a believer is absolutely convinced that he is totally empty in himself of any spiritual quality acceptable to God, that he is totally capable of submitting to the lusts of his flesh, his eyes, and of his pride of life (1 John 2:16). And, once at that point, he cannot bear the thought of God turning away from him in sorrowful disgust. Though He was not a man born with original sin, perhaps the greatest cry of anguish at such a separation was that from Jesus at Calvary: “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Mark 15:34). The late Lorne Sanny, former president of The Navigators and successor to its founder, Dawson Trotman, used to say, “Few end well,” and it does appear so as we see the “falling away” of end-time prophecy. And Paul’s admonition of 1 Corinthians 10:12 rings out like a resounding trumpet blast: “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall!” We cannot let this topic go, however, without the promises of hope that Jesus, Himself, has made, indicating His loving kindness and tender mercies toward those who would believe in Him. In Matthew 12:20-21, He quotes from an Old Testament description of Him in Isaiah: “A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench…,” and then, in Hebrews 4:15-16: “For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted just as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (MKJV).

COMPROMISE!!

Stop dressing so tacky for church Remember when people used to dress up for church? Casual Friday has now morphed into Sloppy Sabbath. April 19th, 2014 08:00 PM ET Stop dressing so tacky for church By John Blake, CNN (CNN) - If the Rev. John DeBonville could preach a sermon to lift the souls of churchgoers across America, his message would be simple: Stop dressing so tacky for church. DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. Some even slide into the pews carrying coffee in plastic foam containers as if they’re going to Starbucks. “It’s like some people decided to stop mowing the lawn and then decided to come to church,” says DeBonville, rector at the Church of the Good Shepard in Massachusetts. “No one dresses up for church anymore.” All of you folks visiting church this Easter Sunday take a good look around. Soak in the Easter tradition of people wearing their best new outfits for church: The fidgety girls in pink dresses; the pouting boys in stiff new suits; everyone looking all fine and dandy. Because come next Sunday, the people wearing flip-flop sandals, shorts and grubby T-shirts will rise again. Church leaders like DeBonville have harrumphed about declining dress standards for Sunday service for years, while others say God only cares what’s in someone’s heart. But which side is right? What does the Bible actually say about dressing properly for church? And does Jesus provide fashion advice anywhere? Wasn’t he a homeless, Galilean peasant who wore flip-flops? The answers to these questions are not as easy as they may seem. The Bible sends mixed messages about the concept of wearing your Sunday best. And when pastors, parishioners and religious scholars were asked the same questions, they couldn’t agree, either. Wearing ties on first dates There was one point on which both sides did agree: People are dressing sloppier everywhere, not just church. Take a trek to the supermarket on Saturday morning and you’re bound to run into a sleepy-eyed woman in slippers and rollers at the checkout counter. Or take a walk outside and you’ll be greeted by teenagers slouching around with their jeans sagging over the butt-cheeks. Even corporate America isn’t immune. Casual Fridays has morphed into casual every day and even tech tycoons like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wear bland T-shirts during public presentations. It’s a sharp departure from another era in America before the 1960s, when people wore suits, dresses and white gloves in public. The Rev. Gerald Durley, a sharp-dressed civil rights activist in Atlanta, recalls taking his future wife, Muriel, on their first date. When he showed up at her house, her father opened the door, looked at him, and took him aside gravely, “Young man can I talk to you for a minute.” “He told me, 'If you’re going to take my daughter out, you can wear one of my ties,'” says Durley, a retired Baptist pastor. Jennifer Fulwiler, who wrote an article for the National Catholic Register titled, “Why Don’t We Dress up Anymore,” says her great-grandfather would put on a coat and tie just to go grocery shopping. The reasons why people stopped dressing up could fill a book. Yet Fulwiler offers one explanation that’s seldom mentioned – lack of gratitude. Fulwiler’s revelation came one day as she watched scruffily dressed people board a plane. She flashed back to a black-and-white photo she had seen of her grandparents boarding a plane in the 1940s. Most of the passengers were dressed in suits and ties and dresses because air travel was such a privilege at the time. “We dress up for what we’re grateful for,” she says. “We’re such a wealthy, spoiled culture that we feel like we have a right to fly on airplanes,” says Fulwiler, author of “Something Other than God,” which details her journey from atheism to Christianity. Church is like air travel now – it’s no longer a big deal because people have lost their sense of awe before God, Fulwiler says. Yet some of these same people who say it doesn’t matter how you dress for church would change their tune if they were invited to another event, Fulwiler says. “If you had the opportunity to meet the Queen of England, you wouldn’t show up in at Windsor Castle wearing jeans and a T-shirt,” she says. The church customer is always king Shouldn’t people have that same reverential attitude when they show up at church to meet God, some ask? After all, doesn’t your dress reveal the importance you attach to an occasion? That sentiment, however, is seen as hopelessly old school in many popular megachurches across America. Casual Fridays has morphed into casual Sundays. And many of the popular megachurch pastors are middle-aged men who bound onto the stage each Sunday dressed in skinny jeans, untucked Banana Republic shirts, and backed by in-house Christian rock bands. They’ve perfected a “seeker-friendly” approach to church that gets rid of the old formal worship style with its stuffy dress codes. But there’s a danger in making people too comfortable in their clothes on Sunday morning, says Constance M. Cherry, an international lecturer on worship and a hymn writer. Some churches have embraced a business-oriented “the customer is always right” approach to worship that places individual comfort at the center of Sunday service, says Cherry, author of“Worship Architect: A Blueprint for Designing Culturally Relevant and Biblically Faithful Services.” “Many young people and boomers judge the value of worship service based on personal satisfaction,” Cherry says. “If I get to wear flip-flops to Wal-Mart, then I get to wear flip-flops to church. If I get to carry coffee to work, I get to carry coffee to church. They’re being told that come as you are means that God wants you to be comfortable.” What the Bible says The Bible says that’s not true – people had to prepare themselves internally and externally for worship. In the Old Testament, Jewish people didn’t just “come as they are” to the temple in Jerusalem. They had to undergo purification rituals and bathe in pools before they could enter the temple, says Cherry, who is also a professor of worship at Indiana Wesleyan University. Both Old and New Testaments suggest that people should not approach God in a casual manner, Cherry says. Psalms 24 urges the faithful to “ascend the hill of the Lord …with clean hands and pure hearts.” When Jesus taught in the synagogues, he also observed the rules and decorum of being in God’s house, Cherry says. Cherry isn’t calling for a restoration of first-century cultural norms, such as women covering their hair in worship, or a rigid dress code. She says churches should meet people where they are, and make even the poorest person feel welcome. She just says that preparation for worship should give less thought to people and more thought to the divine. “There should be some sort of approach to God that will include certain steps to honor the God that is not our buddy but fully The Other,” she says. Others back up Cherry’s call to keep the Sabbath special. Dressing up really makes a difference on Sunday, they say. “It puts you in a different mindset,” says Tiffany Adams, a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who grew up wearing jeans in church. “It actually sets the Sabbath apart from every other day.” And there are still pockets of church culture where no one has to persuade people to look sharp on Sunday. The African-American church is one such place. Many of its members still insist on dressing up on Sunday because of the historical struggles of blacks. Sunday morning was often the only time in the week that a black person could assert their dignity, says Durley, the Atlanta civil rights activist who also is a retired Baptist pastor. “On Sunday morning, when you put on your tie, your shirt and put your palms together and slicked down your hair, you were no longer the hired help, you were a trustee, a deacon or you chaired this board and you dressed accordingly,” Durley says. What would Jesus wear? There are others, though, who say God cares more about the person’s soul than their style. No one wears a bracelet today asking, “What would Jesus wear.” Clothes just weren’t important to Jesus or the early church, they claim. The early church was anti-hierarchical and adopted a “come as you are” approach to worship, welcoming outcasts and the disenfranchised who often couldn’t dress in fine clothes, says Carl Raschke, a religious studies professor at the University of Denver. Raschke cites Mark 12:38, where Jesus mocks the fine clothes worn by the Pharisees, a group of elite Jewish religious leaders of his day. Others cite James 2:2-4, where the writer of the New Testament book criticizes early Christians for discriminating against poor people visiting the church in dirty clothes and favoring the man “wearing a gold ring and fine clothes.” “Adopting a dress code would not only be suicidal for American Christians who are swimming against the stream of casual secularism, it would be antithetical to what Christianity sees increasingly as its abiding mission – to reach those who are marginalized and ‘don’t fit in,’ ‘’ Raschke says. Some people, though, remain convinced that casual Sundays are getting too sloppy. “The casualness of Sunday church attire has gone too far,” says DeBonville, the pastor of the Massachusetts church. “It’s about respect and honoring God.” When DeBonville looks across the scruffy fashion landscape of America, he sees only one profession that’s holding the line against tacky dress. It’s not the preachers or priests, though. These people belong to another profession whose members aren’t exactly known for respect and honoring God. “The last ones wearing shirt and ties are the politicians,” DeBonville says. Easter is supposed to be about the renewal of hope, but when asked if the spread of sloppy Sabbath can get any worse, DeBonville sounds gloomy. Yoga pants in the pews, pajamas near the altar – will everyone soon start showing up at church dressed like “the Dude” in the film, “The Big Lebowski.” Nothing would surprise DeBonville anymore. “There’s growing casualness everywhere,” he says. “I don’t know if it can get much worse.”

SNOW GLOBE EARTH ARE YOU READY??

And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake." Revelation 8:5, KJV

Sooner than we think--JESUS is coming!!!

For anyone who doubts that God Himself is behind earthquakes and other so-called "natural disasters", and that He is the one who causes the Earth to shake in His displeasure, then I ask you to seriously consider the following verses. There is no need for any attempts at private interpretation, as they speak plainly for themselves: "The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures. And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols he shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth." Isaiah 2:11-21, KJV "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger." Isaiah 13:9-13, KJV "Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground." Ezekiel 38:14-20, KJV "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel." Joel 3:14-16, KJV "For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts." Haggai 2:6-7, KJV "And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying, Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother." Haggai 2:20-22, KJV "See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven." Hebrews 12:25-26, KJV "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" Revelation 6:12-17, KJV "And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake." Revelation 8:5, KJV "And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail." Revelation 11:13-19, KJV "And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great." Revelation 16:18, KJV God's Word has clearly spoken concerning this issue. If anyone tries to convince you that earthquakes and other catastrophic events are only "natural disasters" which have nothing to do with God, do not believe them, because they are either misguided due to their ignorance of God's Word, or else they are intentionally rebelling against the truth of God's Word, and trying to deceive you.

The King IS COMING SO SOON!!!!!

Paula Marie ~ Word From the Lord About Mega Quakes and the Rapture Transcript ~ I love all you guys so much for all that you do for the Lord. So much blessings came out that last video. Already It has gone above and beyond anything I would have ever expected or imagined and my friend will certainly be blessed by it abundantly. So here is a special treat for you guys, what you have been waiting for, a Word from the Lord about the rapture. And its certainly a blessing! I asked the Lord last night if there was anything else to know about when the rapture would come and this is what he said. When you start to see mega quakes happening on a daily basis in various places around the world, it will mean that it is time. The rapture is at hand. A Mega quake is 7.0 or higher. So right before the rapture we will see at least 7 days of mega quakes happening in various places around the world. It could be more days then that, but it is at least 7 in a row, without skipping days. This is what else he told me. He said every time a mega quake happens, something significant occured involving the peace agreement. He also said a lot of the peace process is going on behind closed doors without the media becoming involved. This decision was made by Kerry and the White House in an effort to stop confusing statements which would serve to stall the talks. But we will know that these talks are happening and that they are progressing, nearing their completion, as the mega quakes become closer and closer together. To many people the announcement of the signing of the peace agreement will be a complete surprise for those who were not watching the mega quake signs. And of course the world wide earthquake, the big one, happens at the signing of the agreement. Someone commented to me out of the blue, how they noticed that we are starting to get mega quakes every day in various places around the world. They are becoming stronger and more frequent. Keep watching, keep looking up you guys. Jesus is coming soon! God bless! http://youtu.be/UV3wfs77xN0

5 things about my Jesus

5 Unanswered Questions About Jesus LiveScience.com By By Marc Lallanilla, Assistant Editor 1 hour ago 5 Unanswered Questions About Jesus . View photo A recently discovered scrap of 4th-century papyrus, known as the "Gospel of Jesus' Wife," … As Christians worldwide gather for Easter to celebrate their belief in the death and rebirth of Jesus, researchers continue to delve into the mysteries that surround the man. While most historians agree that Jesus did in fact exist, the circumstances surrounding his life and death — and the supernatural occurrences linked to them — make it difficult to separate fact from legend. The following are five questions about Jesus that, for now, at least, remain unanswered. [Religious Mysteries: 8 Alleged Relics of Jesus] 1. When was Jesus born? Though most Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus on Dec. 25, there's near-universal agreement that this wasn't his actual birthday. Even the year of his birth — usually given as sometime between 2 B.C. and 7 B.C. — is up for grabs. In 2008, astronomer Dave Reneke argued that the Star of Bethlehem (a celestial event long associated with Jesus' birth) may have been Venus and Jupiter coming together to form a bright light in the sky. Using computer models, Reneke determined this rare event occurred on June 17 in the year 2 B.C. Other researchers have claimed that a similar conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter occurred in October of 7 B.C. Still others have claimed that Jesus was born in the spring, based on stories about shepherds watching over their flocks in fields on the night of Jesus' birth — something they would have done in the spring, not the winter. 2. Was Jesus married? Few questions arouse more controversy than speculation about Jesus' marital status, a subject famously broached in Dan Brown's novel "The Da Vinci Code" (Doubleday, 2003). Some biblical scholars have argued that Jesus may have been married to Mary Magdalene, a woman frequently mentioned in the New Testament of the Bible. "In the 'Gospel of Philip' (found in the Gnostic codices at Nag Hammadi), these words are clearly readable, in spite of the holes in the manuscript: 'There were three who always walked with the Lord: Mary his mother, and her sister, and Magdalene, the one who was called his companion,'" wrote Barbara Thiering on Beliefnet.com. A recently discovered scrap of papyrus has lent some credibility to those who claim Jesus was married. Known as the "Gospel of Jesus' Wife," the document was unveiled in 2012 and contains lines such as, "Jesus said to them, 'My wife...'" Forensic analyses have suggested that the document is probably authentic and not a recent forgery, though the jury is still out on that. 3. Did Jesus walk on water? One of the most impressive miracles ascribed to Jesus claims he walked on the water of the Sea of Galilee (a freshwater lake in modern-day Israel). Recent research has found that might be true, though the water was frozen at the time. During an unusual cold snap, when temperatures dropped to 25 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 4 degrees Celsius), a floating patch of ice could have developed above the salty springs found along the lake's western shore. Floating ice in the unfrozen waters of the lake would have been hard to spot, researchers claim, especially if rain had smoothed its surface. 4. When did Jesus die? Several sources mention Jesus' crucifixion at the hands of Pontius Pilate, the Roman prefect in Judaea. Christian Gospels say the skies darkened for hours after the crucifixion, which historians viewed either as a miracle or an omen of dark times to come. Using astronomy, later historians have used this mention to pinpoint the death of Christ. Some tie the crucifixion to a total solar eclipse of almost two minutes that occurred in 29 C.E., whereas others say a second total eclipse, blocking the sun for more than four minutes in 33 C.E., marked Jesus' death. 5. Was Jesus buried in the Shroud of Turin? The authenticity of the Shroud of Turin — reputedly the burial shroud of Jesus — has been in question for centuries, and scientific investigations over the last few decades have only muddled the ongoing debate over its authenticity. The Catholic Church doesn't have an official position on the cloth, despite the fact that the relic is visited by thousands of worshippers each year at the Turin Cathedral in Italy. Radiocarbon dating tests conducted at three different labs in the 1980s indicated the cloth was less than 800 years old, and was probably produced in the Middle Ages sometime between A.D. 1260 and 1390. But a 2014 study claims neutron emissions from an ancient earthquake that rocked Jerusalem could have created the iconic image in the shroud, as well as altered the radiocarbon levels that later suggested the shroud was a medieval forgery. Other experts dispute those findings, so the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin — like so many other questions surrounding the life and death of Jesus — remains a mystery.

So much is happening so fast. As I am typing this, there is such urgency, that it is pouring out of me faster than I can write. Oh! dear LORD, help me to be accurate and faithful to your Word! AMEN. I must write these down for you: 1. Israel is about to attack Iran. The whole world will become even more anti-Semitic and despise Israel. Israel will succeed in removing the nuclear threat almost completely, but there will be war. Israel will be hurt, primarily from the rocket attacks. This strike against Iran will provoke the neighboring Arab nations and they will attempt to retaliate, which will then go nuclear. War is coming! 2. The nations in the world, especially the west, will panic, There will be a dramatic increase in the price of oil. This will trigger financial disasters in Europe, America, and many nations. The dollar will further dramatically lose its' value. 3. The Euro will suddenly just collapse. Then, the dollar will follow. A new global currency will immediately take their place. 4. Vladimir Putin is preparing the way for another leader to rise in Russia. He will be the Magog of Ezekiel 38. But before this, Putin will try to take over other nations that once were Satelite nations of the former Soviet Union. He will be overthrown and deposed, but will be replaced by a ruthless man who will try to take over even the Middle East by sudden and rapid conquest. Of course, according to Ezekiel 38-39, he, along with the nations with him, his "hordes", will be defeated when he attacks Israel from the north. 5. The Rapture of the Bride will happen suddenly. This can come at any moment now. It is not chronological with these events...but, a mystery hid in God. HE CAN COME NOW AT ANY MOMENT! Please make sure you are right with God! 6. The whole world will collapse economically and a miraculous leader will arise out of the Near East. He will be Satan incarnate, but people will blindly follow him, thinking he is actually the Messiah. 7. He will immediately establish some order, particularly in europe, but it will be so bad that people all over the world will be in a panic. They will just embrace anyone that seems to have some answers...especially the man of perdition, who is possessed by Satan himself and will be anointed with more charm and charisma than any other world leader in all of history. No one will be able to resist him, unless the Holy Spirit supernaturally opposes and stops his deception on a person. 8. God will release his end time Tribulation prophets, evangelists, and apostles, who will demonstrate the authority of God in the earth. They will preach the Gospel of Jesus, proclaim judgments and calamities, and these will immediately follow. Millions of souls will be saved, because of these men who proclaim the gospel in fire and glory. Miracles will follow them. Thousands will be raised from the dead, food and water and provision will occur wherever they are preaching. Healing miracles will be manifested that will arrest the entire world as they watch on the television news, etc. The fear of the LORD will be so great that they will call fire down even upon the White House and Congress. I saw the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office hit and cleaved in two down the middle. The entire Government will fall on its' face and cry out to God for mercy. He will answer and move in great Revival, not just in America, but around the world. 9. Terrorists acts of terrible destruction shall begin to hit throughout the world after the first of the four Blood moons in a few weeks. Earthquakes and floods, fires, bombs, volcanic activity, will greatly increase, particularly in the Moslem nations and the ring of fire regions. 10. A word to the nations NOW! It is going to get really dark. We haven't seen or even imagined the terrible calamities about to come. The protective covering of grace will be removed and the birth pangs will greatly increase over the next 18 months. with each of theses heavenly signs, greater calamities will follow. 11. What do the blood moons signify in the heavens? a) Wars coming in Israel to destroy it before the Jubilee of Jerusalem. b) the end of the times of the Gentiles - the age of Grace is ending. c) the beginning of Jacob's trouble...seven years Tribulation d) The signals that the Day of the LORD is beginning. 12 There are four phases of the withdrawal of protection and grace from the earth. These four phases coincide directly with the four appearances of the blood moons. There will be judgments during and after each one as they appear...then there will be a respite of grace and a harvest of souls after each one. The first one of these is coming in a few weeks during Passover. Each of these four moons will bring worse judgments upon the earth. Israel and the nations will go into travail of the terrible darkness covering the earth. 13. The LORD gave me several indicators of exactly where we are at in His timetable. a) On the statue of the Gentile nations recorded in Daniel. We are almost to the toes...Most of the feet of clay is now in place. The mixture of clay and iron signify the erosion of authority and leadership. The statue starts with Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon, who was given more absolute authority of the Gentile empires than any one. All the empires since had less power and authority from then on. But, in the last almost 120 years, there has been a collapse in leadership in all the nations...now we are well into the feet of clay, which represents the very last of the rule of the Roman Empire...it will be revived into 10 "toes", or regions during the last seven years, led by the Antichrist. We are now at the very edge of those toes on God's prophetic time clock. 14. b) the Horseman of Revelation chapter 6 will begin to ride - these four blood moons are a warning of their approach! I pray that they don't come exactly with each eclipse. But, the Holy Spirit spoke to me that they are directly related and are involved in their release upon earth. i) The revealing of the Anitchrist bringing false peace. The White Horse: At first he will not be recognized as evil by anyone except to those filled with the Holy Spirit - the Tribulation saints. The world will adore him, worship him fanatically, and he will "conquer" at first with a bow and no arrow... flattery, diplomacy, Mystery Babylon religion, etc. He will deceive nearly everyone. This leader will emerge soon after the Rapture. ii) The Red Horse: Peace will be removed and war will be unleashed on earth. iii) The Black Horse: Famine from confiscation of food and resources: notice verse 6 - first it will be food regulated and rationed by the Antichrist system: then, after that will come oil and wine which is fuel, water, property and every essential thing. EVERYTHING will be regulated...buying and selling will be completely monitored when the 666 system is fully in place. iv) The Pale Horse: Death by war, starvation, and demonic possession (verse 8b - by death and by the beasts of the earth)...demons and evil spirits released that have the power to kill, steal and destroy will be allowed to operate...BY THESE MEANS, ONE QUARTER OF THE EARTH'S POPULATION WILL BE DESTROYED ACCORDING TO THIS VERSE. (Note: Obama is not this leader...he is what I would call a "mini-anti". He is possessed and operates in the same Antichrist spirit, but he is NOT "the Big Cheese".) The Antichrist cannot be revealed until the Bride of Messiah, the overcoming church, is raptured. But he is alive now, I believe, and ready to take his place in the right time. 15. There are evil angelic beings that are chained in hell. They are about to be released upon the earth. These are not just demons, they were once high ranking angels under Lucifer before he fell from heaven. They are horrible beyond understanding. They will bring such disasters and misery upon those left on earth that you cannot begin to know...it will be 100 times worse than the worst horror movie you have ever seen. They will bring torment, torture, and destruction upon millions. 16. Hordes of demons will follow the command of these evil angels. In the past 10 years, there has been a exponential rise in the occult, false religions, Satan worship, and witchcraft. This is because "the great falling away" from God that has happened progressively during the past nearly 120 years. Satan is raging upon the earth even with the Bride's intercession and our prayers restraining. He knows his time is short. When this final restraint is removed, literally, all hell will break loose upon the earth for seven years. There are already demons that have the power on earth to appear in any form, perfect men and women in beauty that cause the saints to fall into lust. The internet is polluting the whole world. These demons actually manifest and come out of computers and have sex and every depraved thing with wicked people. Many "Christians" are in chains of bondage. There are millions of children and babies being offered on the altar of sex trafficking, abortion, perversion, satanic ritual sacrifices, and even bestiality. The blood of the innocents is crying out before the throne of God! This is fueled directly by witchcraft. This is such an abomination that it hastens the Day of the Wrath of God with every passing hour. If this is happening now, "in a green tree, what will it be like when it is dry?!" Evil abominations beyond what you can imagine will fill the earth, after the rapture of the Bride...for then, ALL RESTRAINT OF EVIL WILL BE REMOVED FOR SEVEN YEARS. 17. MEANWHILE IN HEAVEN...we shall join with the Old and New Testament saints of the past and present generations...the righteous dead shall be raised first, then we shall meet the LORD in the air, and we shall ever be with the LORD. Then we shall go to the Judgment Seat of Messiah, and receive our rewards for what we did in our lives on earth for Yeshua's Kingdom. What a time of rejoicing it will be for those who forsook all and followed Him in obedience! 18. We shall - the Bride of our LORD - all gather together with Yeshua in heaven to participate in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. It will be our wedding day! We shall be forever wed to our Bridegroom King - Jesus! 19. We shall have seven years in heaven where we prepare to rule and reign with Yeshua when he returns to earth. 20. At the end of this terrible time on earth, Jesus shall get upon a white horse, and we shall ride heavenly horses also! We shall follow behind Him as He returns to the earth to establish His 1,000 year Kingdom. He shall destroy the armies gathered together from all the nations in the valley of Megiddo in Israel, with just a word from His mouth...the sword of Messiah's Word. Like Martin Luther wrote in his famous hymn, "A Mighty Fortress is Our God"..."One little Word will fell him (Satan and all evil.) Praise the LORD! 21. We shall fight that last battle with Him. He will conquer all evil and we will with Him also! Then Yeshua our Messiah, the Son of David, shall take up His throne and rule and reign forever! We shall rule and reign with Him. May the LORD bless His prophetic Word. By the way, this is all in the Bible... read it for yourself ... Are YOU ready to meet the LORD? "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." - Luke 21:36 Shalom! Dr. Maurice H. OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES!!!!

Religious Insight LOT 'S WIFE The Sunday School teacher was describing how Lot's wife looked back and turned into a pillar of salt, when little Jason interrupted, 'My Mommy looked back once while she was driving,' he announced triumphantly, 'and she turned into a telephone pole!' ________________________________ GOOD SAMARITAN A Sunday school teacher was telling her class the story of the Good Samaritan. She asked the class, 'If you saw a person lying on the roadside, all wounded and bleeding, what would you do?' A thoughtful little girl broke the hushed silence, 'I think I'd throw up.' ________________________________ DID NOAH FISH? A Sunday school teacher asked, 'Johnny, do you think Noah did a lot of fishing when he was on the Ark ?' 'No,' replied Johnny. 'How could he, with just two worms.' ________________________________ HIGHER POWER A Sunday school teacher said to her children, 'We have been learning how powerful kings and queens were in Bible times. But, there is a Higher Power. Can anybody tell me what it is?' One child blurted out, 'Aces!' ________________________________ MOSES AND THE REDSEA > Nine-year-old Joey was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sunday School. 'Well, Mom, our teacher told us how God sent Moses behind enemy lines on a rescue mission to lead the Israelites out of Egypt . When he got to the Red Sea , he had his army build a pontoon bridge and all the people walked across safely. Then he radioed headquarters for reinforcements. They sent bombers to blow up the bridge and all the Israelites were saved.' 'Now, Joey, is that really what your teacher taught you?' his Mother asked. 'Well, no, Mom.. But, if I told it the way the teacher did, you'd never believe it!' ________________________________ THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD A Sunday School teacher decided to have her young class memorize one of the most quoted passages in the Bible - Psalm 23. She gave the youngsters a month to learn the chapter. Little Rick was excited about the task - but he just couldn't remember the Psalm. After much practice, he could barely get past the first line. On the day that the kids were scheduled to recite Psalm 23 in front of the congregation, Ricky was so nervous. When it was his turn, he stepped up to the microphone and said proudly, 'The Lord is my Shepherd, and that's all I need to know.' ________________________________ UNANSWERED PRAYER The preacher's 5 year-old daughter noticed that her father always paused and bowed his head for a moment before starting his sermon. One day, she asked him why. 'Well, Honey,' he began, proud that his daughter was so observant of his messages. 'I'm asking the Lord to help me preach a good sermon.' 'How come He doesn't answer it?' she asked. ________________________________ BEING THANKFUL A Rabbi said to a precocious six-year-old boy, 'So your mother says your prayers for you each night? That's very commendable. What does she say?' The little boy replied, 'Thank God he's in bed!' ________________________________ UNTIMELY ANSWERED PRAYER During the minister's prayer one Sunday, there was a loud whistle from one of the back pews. Tommy's mother was horrified. She pinched him into silence and, after church, asked, 'Tommy, whatever made you do such a thing?' Tommy answered soberly, 'I asked God to teach me to whistle, and He did!' ________________________________ TIME TO PRAY A pastor asked a little boy if he said his prayers every night. 'Yes, sir.' the boy replied. 'And, do you always say them in the morning, too?' the pastor asked. 'No sir,' the boy replied. 'I’m not scared in the daytime.' ________________________________ ALL MEN / ALL GIRLS When my daughter, Kelli, said her bedtime prayers, she would bless every family member, every friend, and every animal (current and past). For several weeks, after we had finished the nightly prayer, Kelli would say, 'And all girls.' This soon became part of her nightly routine, to include this closing. My curiosity got the best of me and I asked her, 'Kelli, why do you always add the part about all girls?' Her response, 'Because everybody always finish their prayers by saying 'All Men'!' ________________________________ SAY A PRAYER Little Johnny and his family were having Sunday dinner at his Grandmother's house. Everyone was seated around the table as the food was being served. When Little Johnny received his plate, he started eating right away. 'Johnny! Please wait until we say our prayer.' said his mother. 'I don't need to,' the boy replied. 'Of course, you do.' his mother insisted. 'We always say a prayer before eating at our house.' 'That's at our house.' Johnny explained. 'But this is Grandma's house and she knows how to cook!'

verse of day

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4 KJV

ANY DAY NOW ABSENT IN THE BODY PRESENT WITH THE LORD

End Time Biblical Prophecy Revealed Part 4 – The Sixth Seal by Thomas Taylor The Astronomical Signs THEN the Rapture Mat 24:29-31 ESV “Immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL FROM HEAVEN, AND THE POWERS OF THE HEAVENS WILL BE SHAKEN. (30) THEN WILL APPEAR IN HEAVEN THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (31) And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Clearly in this passage the astronomical signs happen then Jesus comes to rapture His church. These astronomical signs happen at the Sixth Seal of Revelation. Notice the exact match of events in Revelation 6, the Sixth Seal, proving the rapture happens at the Sixth Seal: Rev 6:12-14 ESV When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, (13) and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. (14) The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. All this happens after the Great Tribulation against the Jews and the Church has begun. Remember, that the wrath of the Antichrist lasts 3 1/2 years against the Jews and the Church. The Day of The Lord And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; (Rev 6:12-15 KJV) The sixth seal is the sign that signifies certain events associated with the beginning of the Day of the Lord which is the same time as the rapture of the Church (see The Pre-Wrath Rapture for more proof). The sixth seal speaks of certain signs in the heavens and earth. The three main signs are as follows: A great earthquake earthquake The sun becomes black Golden Sun - Ray Green - Black Sun (10) The moon becomes as blood Sixth Seal blood moon These are the main signs I want to focus on because they can be tracked in different places in the Bible. When we find these peculiar signs being mentioned together, we have a clue which tells us exactly what will happen during or immediately following the sixth seal. The sixth seal, after the resurrection/rapture, and seventh seal are where we see the actual wrath of God poured out on the ungodly. The Rapture followed by the Wrath of God After the Great Tribulation, the last 3 1/2 years, the rapture will occur based on the clear chronology of Matthew 24. We cannot know the day or hour. We only know this: the Rapture will happen before the wrath of God is poured out. Christians are not appointed to wrath (Rom 5:9; 1 Thess 1:10). The Bible gives us a huge clue about the timing of God’s wrath- in a general way, not with a specific time: And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (Rev 6:16-17 KJV) Revelation 6:16-17 is a marker that separates the activities of Satan from the activities of God. Up until these verses, we read only about the activities of Satan bringing all kinds of tribulation, terror, and chaos into the world. But here we see God finally step in with His wrath against the ungodly. Notice the timing of God’s wrath is the Sixth Seal. The Great Earthquake and Astronomical Signs So what else does the Bible say about these signs that precede the wrath of God? What events occur at this Sixth Seal? Isa 24:19-23 KJVR The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly . (20) The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage ; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. (21) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. (22) And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. (sounds like Rev 20:1-3) (23) Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed , when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. Here is one passage that unmistakably has all three of the same events mentioned for the Sixth Seal. This is a deeper description of what also occurs at this time period in greater detail than what we see in Revelation 6. Notice some of the things that occur during or after the great earthquake, the moon being confounded, and the sun ashamed. It is associated with “the LORD [punishing] the host of the high ones that are on high and the kings of the earth upon the earth.” Jesus is pouring out His wrath on the wicked spirits in the second heaven as well as on the kings of the earth. I believe He is clearing out the second heaven for us believers to rule in their place. This passage of Isaiah is describing the Day of the Lord in which Jesus pours our His wrath, destroying His enemies, and setting down to rule and reign on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. The actual day of the Lord happens over several months. But there is no question this passage matches Revelation 6:12-17 which clearly describes the beginning of the wrath of God/Jesus. Joe 2:1-11 KJVR Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; (2) A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. (3) A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. (4) The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. (5) Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. (6) Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. (7) They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: (8) Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. (9) They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. (10) The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: (11) And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?… Joe 2:30-32 KJVR And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. (31) The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. (32) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. In the heavens the angels of God will be going through all of the second heaven and evicting all of Satan’s host that have occupied that spiritual territory above the earth [see Dan 10:13, 20]. Those angels are the army of God. But notice also two of the signs are mentioned for this event: the sun darkened and the moon turning blood red. Most importantly, these signs are THE signs beginning the Day of the Lord which is the beginning of the day of God’s wrath. So, here again, we get more insight into the sixth seal. Matthew Chapter 24 – A Perfect Chronology of End-Time Events Matthew 24 tells us exactly what is to happen in exact order. So much confusion has been raised concerning Matthew 24. It is hard to see the Truth even if it were told to some people because so many have been programmed to believe in a pre-trib rapture. If pre-trib rapture were true, you would have to rip Matthew 24 out of your Bible because Jesus got it all wrong. When it talks about Jesus coming to gather together His elect (Matt 24:31), “That isn’t the rapture” the pre-trib doctrine says but that could not be further from the Truth. Pre-tribulation doctrine says the rapture is when Jesus stays in the heavens while His second coming is when He lands on mount Olives. THAT distinguishes the two events, they say. Why could He not rapture us into the heavens to be with Him where He is and then days or weeks later touch down on the Mount of Olives? I believe the Bible teaches that the rapture and the coming are one event spread out over days. Pre-trib doctrine says Matthew 24 is all about the Jews since it mentions Judea, Sabbath days, and the holy place. They say, since it is all about the Jews, when it starts talking about the gathering when Jesus comes, it is not the rapture. That is totally incorrect. Yes, Matthew 24 does deal primarily with the Jews, as does all end-time prophecy, but not exclusively. We, the Church, are God’s elect and we will be gathered just like it says in Matthew 24. Let’s break down Matthew 24 into its order: Verses: Heading: Description: Verses 4-8 Tribulation This is a description of general tribulation that will lead up to the Great Tribulation. Verses 9-14 An Overview of The Great Tribulation This is a shortened version of the Great Tribulation up until “the end.” Verses 15 The Sign of The Beginning of The Great Tribulation Jesus refocused here for more detail on a particular event that starts the Great Tribulation.. The sign that signifies the beginning of the Great Tribulation (3 1/2 years) is the Abomination of Desolation. Starting here He goes into greater detail event by event in chronological order. Verses 15-21 Jewish Persecution These verses clearly lay out the antichrist’s attack on the Jewish people in Israel. Verses 22 Shortened Days This mentions the days being shortened. I am uncertain what He means by this. Possibly less daylight, therefore less persecution. Verses 23-28 Details Concerning False Christs and False Prophets This is the same as verse 11 only in greater detail. False christs and false prophet will abound. It ends with a description of how Jesus will return. Verses 29 – 31 His coming = the rapture and the Day of the Lord Verse 27 gave an overview of His coming but here is when He is very specific. It is after the tribulation “of those days”. His coming is directly related to the signs in the Sun, Moon, stars, and the great earthquake. After the signs, He gathers His elect, the Church, in the rapture. Verses 32 – 36 More details about His coming He warns us that WE CAN know when it is near. He tells us that it will happen in a single generation (which I believe is ours!). Verses 37 – 39 His coming is like the flood of Noah The Lord switches to the view of His coming from a sinner’s perspective. People will be unaware of the timing. But the people He is talking about are the sinners – not the saints. Noah knew when it was time because he entered the ark. Notice the coming of the Lord is associated with the wrath of God against sinners in the flood but simultaneously the rescue of His chosen like Noah and his family. Verses 42 – 51 Warnings to those who think they are saved These verse are talking to those people who think Jesus is their Lord but their very actions prove otherwise. They must wake up or they will miss the rapture and endure a very great time of God’s wrath. These do not have any clue as to when He is coming. It will be very sudden and unexpected and they will face the wrath of God if they do not repent and accept Jesus before they die. The Rapture IS Mentioned in Matthew 24 So don’t let anyone ever tell you that the following verses are not talking about the rapture of the Church. Mat 24:30-31 KJV And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (31) And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. How much more clear could Jesus have said it? He comes, THE Second Coming, and He raptures His Church FROM HEAVEN! It seems it is from these very words that Paul studied and wrote for us 1 Thess. 4 and 5. 1Th 4:16-17 KJV For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Notice the similarities of Matt 24:30-31 and 1 Thess 4:16-17. There is the Lord, angelic presence, a trump, and a gathering of God’s people in the air. These passages are talking about the same event! Some say, “Matthews account is talking about angels gathering the elect while Thessalonians does not talk about angels gathering us.” My reply: “so what?” Matthew’s account gives the details of how we are going to gather with the Lord in the air but Paul did not give the details of how. He just says we’ll be raptured in the clouds. Don’t be petty. You would have to be taught by men to actually believe these two verses are talking about different events. If you give someone without any Bible indoctrination both passages to read, there is no question almost all would agree that these must be talking about the same event. The only prerequisite to believing it would be literacy. Proof In The Timing of The Signs of The Sixth Seal Matthew 24 is a perfect chronology. It absolutely matches the first six seals of Revelation. Many that believe in the Pre-Tribulational Rapture have pointed out the first four or five seals match Matthew 24 but they ignore that sixth seal is mentioned as well because it contradicts their Pre-tribulation Rapture system. Be honest and tell me if these verses are talking about the same event: Mat 24:29 KJV Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Rev 6:12-14 KJV And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (13) And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. (14) And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Obviously this a description of the same event. So what’s the big deal? In Matthew, the next verse (verse 30) is the Coming of The Lord which happens at the end of the seven years. Obviously in Revelation it is at the sixth seal. That is too early for Pre-Tribbers because they believe there must follow the Seventh Seal, then the Seven Trumpets, then the Seven Bowls of Wrath. So they have a big problem with their timing. The Lord DOES come at the Sixth Seal, which is also the SAME time at Seventh Trumpet, which is the same time as the beginning of the Seven Bowls of Wrath. That is the only way the timing works out perfectly. Verse of the day

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8 KJV

My Loved Ones Won’t Listen

My Loved Ones Won’t Listen By Daymond Duck After delivering a message on Bible prophecy, I am often asked, “How can I get my loved ones to listen?” Some say, “I try to talk to them, but they roll their eyes, change the subject, leave the room, etc. I love my family. I don’t want to throw in the towel, but they are not saved and they won’t listen. They don’t want to hear it and I think we are running out of time.” Prophecy has never been a popular subject and getting people to listen has always been difficult. But I believe the Bible teaches that it becomes more difficult as a society strays farther from God and that is happening in the United States today. This is the bad news: as difficult as it is, without the intervention of God through persecution, economic collapse, etc. it will never be easier than it is right now. This is not true in every case, but I think it is generally consistent with the Bible. Consider the world our loved ones are living in. We have reached the point where some of our leaders are ridiculing and demonizing Christians. Roman Catholic Cardinal Leo Raymond Burke recently called President Obama “a totally secularized man” and accused him of policies that are hostile to Christians. Rev. Franklin Graham accused the Obama Administration of being “anti-Christ in what they say and in what they do.” The mainstream media ridicules conservative Christians as fundamentalists, right-wing extremists, religious nuts, etc. Many preachers have departed from the faith and are critical of those who believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible. The majority of church members are lukewarm and they would rather have their ears tickled than to be told the truth. Some school teachers and many TV programs are corrupting the minds of our children and grandchildren. They hear evil called good and good called evil on a daily basis (Isaiah 5:20). We are now living in a world where the wickedness of man is great and it is getting harder every day to bring our loved ones out of it. Come to think of it, that is the way it was in the days of Noah. It is a little vague, but it appears that Noah preached at least 100 years with no results (some say 120 years). People refused to listen. One would think that someone would get saved. But if just one got saved, there is no record of it. All who were alive when the rain started except for Noah and his family perished. They lived in a wicked society and they didn’t want to hear what Noah had to say. But notice how God loved them and went out of His way to reach them. He came down and walked with Adam (Gen. 3:8). He gave them a prophet named Enoch who walked with Him and revealed the Second Coming (Gen.5:22; Jude 14).He walked with Enoch and revealed the Rapture (Gen. 5:24; Heb. 11:5). He gave them Methuselah whose name meant “when he is dead it, (the Flood) shall come.” Methuselah was alive, right up until one week before the Flood. God’s spirit strived with them (Gen. 6:3). He gave them a man of grace named Noah, a just man who was perfect in his generations to preach and prophesy to them (Gen. 6:8-9). But they were surrounded by great sin, the earth was filled with violence, their thoughts continually dwelled on sin, they didn’t think about anything but sin and they would not listen (Gen. 6:5, 11-13). Jesus said they ate, drank and partied right up to the very end (Matt. 24:37-39). They should have repented, but it was God who repented because He had made them. Doesn’t that sound a lot like TV, the Internet, porn, abortion, homosexuality, prostitution, murder, gambling and partying today? It’s everywhere, people are drowning in sin and the Word of God is being mocked and choked out of their lives. Following the Flood, many Jews put their fingers in their ears so they could not hear what the prophets had to say. Many pulled away their shoulder, twisted away and absolutely refused to listen (Zech. 7:11). In many cases, they persecuted and killed the prophets (Matt. 23:37-38; Luke 11:47-48). They ultimately came under the judgment of God not because they didn’t have prophets, but because they wouldn’t listen to what the prophets said (Zech. 7:12-13). Skipping on over to the days of Jesus’ earthly ministry, they said they wouldn’t treat the prophets like their ancestors did (Matt. 23:30). But Jesus said, “I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city” (Matt. 23:34). This happened to Jesus and the early church leaders (Stephen, Paul, the disciples, etc). And it will grow worse in the future. I can’t imagine what Noah went through preaching for 100 years or more, being mocked and ridiculed over building an ark when it didn’t rain, perhaps not winning even one convert except his family and refusing to give up. But Noah persevered through 100 years or more and his family was saved even if no one else was saved. His story should encourage us to never give-up and leave us with a sense of urgency about getting the Word out before society gets even worse than it is now. the wise don't quarrel by mary sickler

Donna Schmier so true however a wise person will expose error so others don't stumble and fall.1 Timothy 5:20 - Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 John 4:1-6 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Romans 8:1 - [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Colossians 2:8 - Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 - All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
