The Pretribulation Rapture What is the Pretribulation Rapture? The rapture is an event that will take place sometime in the near future. Jesus will come in the air, catch up the Church from the earth, and then return to heaven with the Church. The Apostle Paul gave a clear description of the rapture event in his letters to the Thessalonians and Corinthians. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thess, 4:16-18). "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality" (1 Cor. 15:51-53). The timing of the rapture is not known. From the Word of God and from sound reasoning--something Jesus used quite frequently--I hope to prove the reality of the pretribulation rapture. The word "rapture" comes from Paul's "caught up" remark in verse 17. The words "caught up" are translated from the Greek word harpazo, which means "to carry off," "snatch up," or "grasp hastily." The translation from harpazo to "rapture" involved two steps: first, harpazo became the Latin word raptus; second, raptus became the English word "rapture." Scriptural Evidence for the Pretribulation Rapture The Unknown Hour When we search the Scriptures and read the passages describing the Lord Jesus' return, we find verses that tell us we won't know the day and hour of that event. Matthew 25:13 says Jesus will return at an unknown time, while Revelation 12:6 indicates that the Jews will have to wait on the Lord 1,260 days, starting when the Antichrist stands in the Temple of God and declares himself to be God (2 Thes 2:4). This event will take place at the mid-point of the seven-year tribulation (Dan 9:27). Note that some people only see a three-and-a-half-year tribulation. In a way, they are correct because the first half of the tribulation will be relatively peaceful compared to the second half. Nonetheless, peaceful or not, there still remains a seven-year period called the tribulation. When the Jews flee into the wilderness, they know that all they have to do is wait out those 1,260 days (Mat 24:16). There is no way to apply the phrase "neither the day nor the hour" to this situation. The only way for these two viewpoints to be true is to separate the two distinct events transpiring here: 1) the rapture of the Church, which comes before the tribulation; and 2) the return of Jesus to the earth, which takes place roughly seven years later. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb In Luke 12:36, the Word states that when Christ returns, He will be returning from a wedding. In Revelation 19:7-8, we read about the marriage itself. The marriage supper takes place before the marriage. According to Jewish custom, the marriage contract, which often includes a dowry, is drawn up first. The contract parallels the act of faith we use when we trust Jesus to be our Savior. The dowry is His life, which was used to purchase us. When it's time for the wedding, the groom goes to the bride's house unannounced. She comes out to meet him, and then he takes her to his father's house. This precisely correlates with the events according to the pre-trib scenario. Jesus, the Groom, comes down from heaven and calls up the Church, His Bride. After meeting in the air, He and His Bride return to His Father's house, heaven. The marriage supper itself will take place there, while down here on earth the final events of the tribulation will be playing out. After the marriage supper of Jewish tradition, the bride and groom are presented to the world as man and wife. This corresponds to the time when Jesus returns to earth accompanied by an army "clothed in fine linen, white and clean" (Rev 19:14). What They Didn't Teach You in History Class Many groups try to discredit the pre-trib rapture by saying most of the end-time events in the Bible have already taken place. A group of people called preterists claims that the Book of Revelation was mostly fulfilled by 70 AD. If the events described in the Book of Revelation took place in the past, I'm at a loss to explain some of the current situations I see around us: the rebirth of Israel, the reunification of Europe, the number of global wars that have occurred, and the development of nuclear weapons. During history class, I must have slept through the part where the teacher talked about the time when a third of the trees were burned up, 100-pound hailstones fell from the sky, and the sea turned into blood (Rev 8:7-8, 16:21). I think several people would have to question their opposition to the pre-trib rapture doctrine if they knew that the evidence provided to them was based on the understanding that most tribulation prophecies have already occurred. The People of the Millennium If Christ were to come back after the tribulation, rapture all the saints, and slay all the ungodly, who would be left to populate the earth during the millennium? Only the pre-trib viewpoint can account for this post-trib problem. The Church is raptured before the tribulation, a vast number of souls are saved during this seven-year time frame, and those who make it through the tribulation go into the millennium while the unsaved are cast into hell. The Saint U-Turn In the pre-trib scenario, after we rise to meet the Lord in the air, we will go to heaven and abide there seven years. At the end of that period, Christ will come down to earth, defeat the Antichrist, and cleanse the temple. In a post-trib rapture, we would rise in the air to meet the Lord, then do a 180-degree U-turn and come back down to earth. Revelation 1:7 states that Christ will appear out of the clouds and come down to earth. Zechariah 14:4 says that His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives. If He's already headed our way, why would we need to be caught up to meet Him? "Come Up Hither" Many pre-trib writers cite Revelation 4:1, which says, "come up hither," as a prophetic reference to the rapture of the Church, leaving Revelation chapters 1 through 3 as a description of the Church Age. After the shout to "come up hither," the Church is not mentioned in Scripture at all. The attention of Scripture switches from the Church to the Jews living in Israel. Armies in Fine Linen When Jesus returns (Rev. 19:18), an army follows Him. The army's members are riding on white horses, and they are clothed in fine linen that is white and clean. In Revelation 19:8, we are told that the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. If the saints of God are returning with Christ to wage war on the Antichrist, then it is not possible to have a post-trib rapture without us running into ourselves as we are coming and going. The Time of Jacob's Trouble In several passages, the Bible refers to the tribulation as a time of trouble for the Jews. The phrase "Jacob's trouble" pertains to the descendants of Jacob. Jeremiah 30:7 says that this time of trouble will come just before the Lord returns to save His people. The final week of Daniel's 70th week is yet to take place. An angel told Daniel that, "70 weeks are determined unto thy people" (Dan 9:24). Scripture never mentions that the tribulation is meant to be a time of testing for Christians. However, some post-tribbers try to claim that they are the ones being tested during the tribulation. To make this so, they need to spiritualize the 144,000 Jewish believers in Revelation 7:2-8 who receive God's protective seal. Placing the Church dispensation into the same time frame as the seven-year Jewish dispensation, as the post-tribbers do, raises one good question: Can two dispensations transpire at the same time? In the past, God has only dealt with one at a time. Having both present during the tribulation would have to be an exception. "He" That is Taken Out of the Way Before the Antichrist can be revealed, Paul said a certain "He" must be taken out of the way. According to 2 Thessalonians 2:7, the "He" that must be removed is widely thought to be the Holy Spirit. It has been promised that the Holy Spirit would never leave the Church, and without the working of the Holy Spirit remaining on earth, no one could be saved during the tribulation. The removal of the Church, which is indwelt by the Holy Ghost, would seem the best explanation for this dilemma. The working of the Holy Spirit could go on during the tribulation, but His influence would be diminished because of the missing Church. War or Rapture (Rev 19:19-21) When Jesus returns at the end of the tribulation, He will be coming for battle. For those who believe in a post-trib rapture, it would be strange to meet your Lord and Savior just as He's rushing into battle. The idea that war and rapture could occur together is difficult to imagine, especially since they transpire at the same moment. The Five Foolish Virgins The wedding story that Jesus gave in Matthew 25:2-13, I believe, is a parable of the rapture of the Church. It explains how some will not be ready. Jesus clearly states that a group of people will miss out on an event, and will cry out to God to let them into the place where He resides, heaven. Although some try to put this parable in a post-trib context, it doesn't fit very well. The ones left behind in a post-trib rapture will not need to seek the Lord because they'll immediately be confronted by Him and His army of angels. God Hath Not Appointed Us to Wrath In 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Paul assures us that God has not appointed His people to wrath. This wrath is plainly God's anger that will be poured out during the tribulation. Pre-trib believers interpret this as meaning that Christians will be removed from the earth. Post-trib believers tell a different story. They describe this as meaning that God will protect Christians during the tribulation and pour this wrath out on the unbelievers only. This idea runs against the statement made in Revelation 13:7, in which the Antichrist is given power to make war with the saints and to overcome them. A post-trib view would make God's promise of protection from wrath into a lie. In years past, it was possible to think of being protected from the guns and swords of that day. Today, when any major war would involve nuclear and chemical weapons, it's impossible to expect that same kind of protection. When Nagasaki, Japan was bombed during World War II, the bomb exploded over a Catholic church. Everyone who was in the center of the explosion died--both Christians and non-Christians. The only way to validly interpret God's promise of protection from wrath is by viewing 1 Thessalonians 5:9 as the bodily removal of the Church from this world. The Salt of the Earth Jesus said, "Ye are the salt of the earth" (Matthew 5:13). When the believers are supenly removed, the earth will be plunged into spiritual darkness. When this happens, the Antichrist will then be free to control the world. God Takes an Inventory In Revelation 7:3, an angel descends to earth and seals the servants of God. Two bits of information about this sealing highly disclaim a post-trib viewpoint. The first item is the number of people sealed: 144,000. The second one is that all those who are sealed are from the 12 tribes of Israel. For the events in Revelation 7:3-8 to be true in a post-trib interpretation, either the Church has turned against God or God has turned against the Church. A post-tribber could write a thousand-word commentary about why the Church doesn't need to be sealed. Instead of trying to argue about why the Church is not mentioned or sealed, a pre-trib proponent could just say, "We're already in heaven." Noah and Lot as Examples The tribulation period is compared to the times of Noah and Lot by Jesus in Luke 17:28. Most people argue over whether the time frame Jesus was talking about in that passage was pre-trib or post-trib. In doing so, they miss an important point. The two circumstances that the Noah and Lot situations have in common are the removal of the righteous and the judgment of the unbelievers. From these two accounts, we see that God prefers to remove His own when danger is involved. Common-Sense Reasons for Believing in the Pretribulation Rapture The World Test One way to check the soundness of a doctrine is to see how the world reacts to it. One company put out a questionnaire that was used to screen prospective employees. One of the questions was, "Do you believe in the rapture?" If you answered "yes," your chances of getting hired would not be good. Some internet sites do not allow the topics of Rapture or Second Coming. They do allow topics such as sex, gays, and drugs. The only time the news media mentions the rapture is when someone sets a date and is proven to be wrong. That Old-Time Religion It used to be a rule of thumb that when one was visiting a church or listening to a preacher, one could assume the preacher believed in repentance, prayer, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost if he taught the rapture doctrine. It was also true that the churches on fire for God worshipped out of storefronts. Today, many of those storefront churches have moved into marble palaces and have strayed from their principal doctrines. Birds of a Feather Flock Together Whenever I look at all the groups that teach false doctrine and are highly focused on end-time events, I cannot find any that support the rapture theory. Some organizations, the Jehovah's Witnesses, for example, teach a false gospel and are heavily into Bible prophecy. Why, then, don't Jehovah's Witnesses teach a false doctrine that would be right up their alley? Could it be that the demonic forces that influence these groups know something that Christians opposed to the rapture don't know? The list of prophetically minded cults that reject the idea of a rapture goes on and on. Here are some more: the Mormons, the Worldwide Church of God and the Moonies, as well as leaders like Jim Jones and David Koresh. The Church Would Rebuke the Antichrist If the Antichrist came to power with the Church still here, I do not see how he could operate. When Hitler was fighting to take over England, a number of Christians were praying for victory. Hitler made mistake after mistake, and England outperformed its enemy at every stage of the conflict. It is difficult to measure the impact of intercessory prayer in physical warfare. Little is known of how great a role praying saints played in the defeat of Nazi Germany. If the Church were to reside on earth during the tribulation, I am sure she would give the Antichrist fits. In Revelation 11:3, the two witnesses alone give the Antichrist enough headaches. Millions of Christians who know their Bibles well would recognize the man of sin and pray fire down on his head. The post-trib view would have to plan on the Church just rolling over and playing dead the whole seven years. We should all remember one thing: Knowing the Antichrist's mother's maiden name isn't the primary goal. Knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and having your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life should be your number-one priority. The jailer asked Paul, "What must I do to be saved?" The answer was, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:30-31).

Deception vs Truth By Robert Campbell It seems like we just can’t get to the truth anymore. Truth is now presented in many flavors, like ice cream, and you get to choose which flavor suits you best. You turn to your favorite news channel and they present the truth in a narrative that supports their agenda. And most viewers will believe it no matter what. We will take what they say and go with it, even if it’s not the whole truth. I really believe that Satan has pulled the wool over most folk’s eyes, including so-called Christians. As I turn from one news broadcast to another and search the web, it's now becoming more difficult to know what absolute truth is and what is actually going on around the world. Who do you trust—who can you sincerely believe is telling you the truth? One thing I know for certain is that Jesus will give you warnings and the wisdom to discern the truth if you ask Him to. How do I know this? I know this because I'm saved, and God has allowed me to see the truth as it is; not as Satan would want me to see it. Shall we test it? Let’s look at the travesty happening in Ferguson, Missouri. What really happened in that city where you have an officer of the law telling some individuals to get out of the middle of the street? Are we to believe that the officer decided to shoot an individual six times just because he was black? Should we believe that officer was looking for a fight just so that he could shoot an unarmed man? When I first heard of the incident, all the reports stated that a white cop shot an unarmed black man who was holding his arms in the air in surrender. They also showed Michael Brown looking innocent, cuddly, and harmless (couldn’t hurt a fly). It took no time for the mind numb robots (the blacks) to come out to protest. They began to loot, rob, steal, destroy property, and cause harm. It was like watching the living dead go after whomever got in their way. It was pure evil! As you were listening to the reports, it seems that a cop did indeed shoot a man down. But that’s not the whole story. What we’ve been shown is all smoke and mirrors, folks. To really know what went on, you would have to be a saved child of God. You must also remember that God is not mocked. God exposed what kind of individual we were dealing with. He showed us in plain sight; the person shot was not of good character, but a thug robbing a store and pushing around his weight as if he owned the world. It was not the police that leaked the videotape to the media, it was God who leaked it. God showed you the truth right to your face, to prove to the world that even if you see the truth precisely in front of you, it’s likely to be rejected if it doesn’t conform to your preconceived ideas. I used simple logic and knew right away what went down. I knew we were dealing with another angry black man who hates white people. And the police were going to be wrong no matter what. Even though the truth was right in front of the citizens, they were going to protest and rant evil things. And to fuel the fire, the race hustlers came to town right on time, without skipping a beat. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, NAACP, and all the evil talking heads, including godless attorneys and the media. Without knowing all the facts, they came up with a verdict: Guilty. Everyone, including the governor and the mayor wanted a quick verdict, just to appease an evil, godless crowd. The media emphasized that he was unarmed and shot six times, leaving out important context. As I have said, you would have to be in the spirit of God to justly see the truth, and to understand what is really going on. What is going on in Ferguson is evil from start to finish. And the real truth means nothing to godless folks. They are not concerned that Officer Darren Wilson was assaulted and nearly knocked unconscious doing his job. The living dead are not concerned that the thug Michael Brown was an evil man, even when God showed him in full living color for what he truly was. This is how Satan works. He uses whomever he chooses to get his agenda accomplished, and he is doing a good job. The lie is so huge that when this case go to trial (if it does), you will be amazed at the evil that will be used in attempt to put an innocent man in jail. Black people and whites alike are being used to get the bigger picture done for Satan. He knows that angry folks do not see truth, and that he can control them with ease, and he understands that lies and tricks will keep you in bondage. While the nation is focused on Ferguson, Satan is slaughtering Christians and Jews in the Middle East and Africa. ISIS is moving at a rapid pace while we worry about a thug in Missouri. ISIS is beheading children, women, and men and destroying everything in their path! A hard-working American journalist was beheaded and shown to the world. We witnessed in disgust what ISIS thinks of Americans, Christians, and Jews. We also see what the president really thinks about America. Only a cold-hearted man would go play golf after making a statement on such a horrendous act of violence. It does not take a brain surgeon to see what our president is doing. As I said, you have to be a child of God to see the truth. God is not mocked. The president is solely responsible for the actions in the Middle East and Ferguson, Missouri. The president interjected his voice in Missouri, just to fan the racial flames and he sent Eric Holder to keep the fire going. He tried to put what was happening in the Middle East on the back burner. However, God put it back in the forefront. God will not allow evil to stay hidden. He will always show you the truth and warn you. But truth has no meaning to godless people. What we see here is good being called evil, and evil being called good. Good is looked at as old-fashioned, and truth is whatever you want it to be. One does not have to be spiritual to see that there is something wrong with the planet and that strange things are occurring as never before seen. Questions are being asked, and preachers are not answering. Pastors are asking for peace and calm as if that will ease the violence. They had their chance when they had the sheep in their fold. Here at home what you see is moral decay in black people. You see a race of folks (not all, but most) without any good in them; it’s almost like looking at a people cursed. But it’s not just black folks in Ferguson. It’s happening all over America. Truth is not what it appears. If you listen to the media and the cronies, you would think that America is against black people. If you listen to the black people, you’d think that white folks are born racist. In reality, what you have is children, born of children, born of children. Fatherless children raising fatherless children. So what are the results? America has grown men and women without any moral fiber; they have no understanding of right and wrong. The world they grew up in consisted of going from home to home, living with brothers and sisters from different fathers. That existence is normal to them. Seeing different men in mom’s life is normal; alcohol and drugs were common, cussing was the native language, vulgar rap music was a second form of speech, and sex and violence was all that was ingested from television. If that was not enough, some were dragged to church to learn how NOT to forgive your fellow man! To be constantly reminded of slavery, to hate your country, and to demand to be called Afro-Americans. We as black people missed a wonderful opportunity to take what God did for us when He brought us here to America (not all, but most). Instead, we listened to lying preachers and race hustlers and folks still living in the past. Afro-Americans (black Americans) have become a very angry, racist people. Satan is using all godless people to do his bidding; to get what he really wants done, which is the destruction of Jews and Christians. Satan hates Jews and Christians so much that he will go to any length to destroy them. He hates them because Jesus came through the Jews, and he hates Christians because we became His namesake. As I said, God is not mocked and He is in control. God is weeding out His people as I write this article. God will be judging America and the world soon. God will get your attention too. I say this to blacks (not all, but most), whites and all other folks: You need to turn back to God, ask for forgiveness and repent of your sins. You need to say to God that you’re sorry for turning your back on Him. Remember. All that you see is smoke and mirrors and truth is not what it seems. You have to be in line with God to see and understand. Time is so very short, and Jesus is making final preparations for us in Heaven. When He returns we need to be ready! Aug 18, 2014 All the Demons Are in Iraq The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has become the most powerful religious terrorist group in modern history. Like locusts invading a field, the single focus of ISIS is to consume everything before it. Anyone that ISIS views as an enemy faces summary executions. This militant organization has proven it will even kill fellow Muslims who fail to adhere to its version of Islam. ISIS has been most vicious in targeting Iraqi Christians and members of the Yazidi religious sect. Some 700,000 Yazidis are believed to have been displaced. The barbarity of ISIS is a throwback to the carnage of medieval times. They have hanged children and placed their heads on posts, abducted young boys forcing them to fight, and girls are being used as sex slaves. What makes me wonder if these people are part of the human race is the glee they have in showing their genocidal acts. They use social media sites to post endless streams of photos and videos of themselves brutalizing their innocent victims. Recently, ISIS seized control of the vitally important Mosul dam. Because this group seems to have no limit in its capacity for evil, there is great concern that ISIS may hold an option that could dramatically change the future of the Middle East. By placing detonation charges on the dam, a massive flood would wash over southern Iraq. In a worst-case scenario, a breach could send a 15-foot wall of water crashing into Baghdad. The situation in Iraq reminds me of the Rwandan Genocide, and a comment made by a missionary to that nation. I remember seeing the quote in TIME magazine saying: “There are no demons in hell. They are all in Rwanda.” (Actually, there are no demons in hell.) The statement is profound in describing the extent at which forces of darkness had taken over that nation. Back in 1994 for approximately 100 days, demonic insanity had Rwanda in its grip. The Hutu tribe suddenly began killing members of the smaller Tutsi tribe. During this time of madness, an estimated 500,000–1,000,000 Rwandans were slaughtered, constituting as much as 20% of the country’s total population. Most of the Tutsis were hacked to death with machetes. Even today, people marvel at how quickly the carnage swept over Rwanda. Just like the genocides carried out by Nazi Germany and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, the global community was left wondering how people could stoop to this level of cruelty. The Bible repeatedly makes it clear that demonic forces have a strong influence over the material world. It’s not that people can say, “The devil made me do it.” The demons provide the motivation and humans act on that impulse. Demonic activity is like a drug addiction. Once demons are allowed to take over, they become very difficult to resist. The ability of 300 fighters to defeat 10,000 Iraqi soldiers has all the markings of demonic empowerment. The mass confusion in Iraq’s capital is another indication that fallen angels are working on the side of ISIS. Iraq is one of the worst places on earth because it is a venue for flare-ups of demonic driven despotism. The area has long been a hotbed of underworld activity. Babylon was the fountainhead all Luciferian and pagan religions. The Prince of Persia was a demon so mighty, he was able to withstand an angel sent to give Daniel a prophetic message for 21 days. Somewhere along the Euphrates river are bound four demons that are so powerfully evil. When they are released, they will kill one-third of the world’s population. “And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, ‘Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.’ And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men” (Revelation 9:13-15). As we get closer to the Tribulation hour, we’re likely to see more situations where it appears that all the demons have gathered together in one place for a campaign of devastation and destruction. Of course, once the Rapture takes place and the restraining power of the church is lifted, the entire world will look like Iraq. “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty” (Revelation 16:13-14). --Todd

FAKE HEALING LYING WONDERS

Counterfeit Healing In the latter days Satan performs great wonders, including miracles of healing. (see Rev. 3:13, 14; 16:14). Therefore not every miracle is of God. We can distinguish between divine and sat satanic miracles only cultivating a deep love for God and His word. (See Matt. 24:24; 2 Thess. 2:4-17.) Satan's most effective agents in deception are those who profess to honor God's cause and seem like dedicated Christians, some of whom exhibit gifts of apparent power to heal. Their service is often connected with the accumulation of great wealth and indulgence in luxurious living. (See 2 Cor. 11:13-15; 2 Pet. 2:1-3, 13-20. cp. 1 Cor. 3:16-18.) These religious agents of deception can be detected by their disohedience to God's law or stated rejection of some part of it. (See Matt. 7:21-24; Isa. 8:10; I John. 2:5, 6). Satan labors to seduce the world into paying homage to him by turning people away from an intelligent knowledge and worship of their Creator, the only one who can truly heal and restore our diseased minds and bodies. (See Lk. 4:18; 1 Pet. 2:22-25; Ezek. 11:19, 20, in contrast to Ezek. 11:21; 2 Thess. 2.4; Rev. 13:1-8; 16:1, 2.) The world is desperate for healing. Never have our lives been more crowded with life-diminishing, health-destroying factors than they are today. Toxic chemicals in food, air, and water; mounting stress from political, social and economic turmoil; the spawning of new diseases that defy the ingenuity of physicians; droughts, famines and pestilences have turned this world into a gigantic infirmary, and driven earth's populace to the brink of despair. All these factors combine to make the world desperate for healing. And here, like a fragrant but deadly mist, arises a great danger. For Satan, the archenemy who has instigated all the miseries that afflict this planet, offers methods to alleviate or remove suffering that are designed to separate us from God and fatally ensnare our souls. Jesus warned against deception Jesus warned that prior to His second coming: "There shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible. they shall deceive the very elect" (Matthew 24:24). These supposed miracles will include what appears to be divine healing. Satan will make people sick by casting his spell upon them, and will then remove the spell, leading others to say that those who were sick have been miraculously healed. How can we distinguish the false from the true? One Bible test is found in Isaiah 8:20: "To the law and the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Satan gives power to deceivers Satan gives his power to those who are aiding him in his deceptions. The sheep's clothing seems so real, so genuine, that the wolf can be discerned only as we go to God's great moral standard. They will perform wonderful miracles of healing and will profess to have revelations from heaven contradicting the testimony of the Scriptures. The voice or spirit that says to a man, "You are under no obligation to obey the law of God," is not the voice of Jesus; for He declares: "I have kept my Father's commandments" (John 15.10). And John testifies: "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar; and "the truth is not in him" (1 John 2:4). Miracles to be tested by the Bible The Bible will never be superseded by miraculous manifestations. The truth must be studied and cherished. All experiences and doctrines must be tested by the Scriptures. Whatever contradicts the Bible is false. Another Bible test is found in Matthew 7:16-20 where Christ says, "Ye shall know them by their fruits Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree can not bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." lf those through whom cures are performed, are disposed, on account of these manifestations, to neglect the law of God and continue in disobedience, it does not follow that God is working through them. On the contrary, it is the miracle-working power of the great deceiver. Are they pointing people to Jesus and the Bible, or are they trying to draw attention to themselves and their miracles? Do they express to the world the love of Jesus in life and character, living lives of self-denial and sacrifice. well-ordered and godly? Is their example such as to convict sinners and convert them from the error of their ways to the truth? Watch well the indications that tell of the state of the heart. Wearing the insignia of Christ, they serve the Lord's worst enemy, and heed not the command, "Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity." Take care that you are not misled by these false teachers, and found fighting under the black banner of the adversary of God and man. Deceptions of the last days The book of Revelation describes Satan's last-day deceptions this way: "He doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do" (Revelation 13:13, 14). As the crowning act in the great drama of deception, Satan himself will impersonate Christ, healing the diseases of the people. and professing to present a new and more exalted system of religious faith: but at the same time he works as a destroyer leading multitudes to ruin. If we do not love God's truth, we may be among those who will see and believe the miracles wrought by Satan in these last days.

This show portrays the Lord and Saviour of all mankind as a ghetto god who drinks beer from a paper bag, uses foul and filthy words, gets into street fights, and is just as much of a sinner as are the people he is "ministering" to. It's exactly the type of show that you would expect Judas to make. Hollywood has learned a long time ago that you can produce any show or movie that mocks God as long as you present it as "free speech" and as "artistic expression". If you call yourself a Christian and can watch this show, shame on you.

The Gog and Magog War of Ezekiel 38-39 The Gog and Magog War of Ezekiel 38-39 By Chris Schang In the Bible, the prophet Ezekiel for tells of an end times conflict that sets the tone for God's re-focus on his chosen people. Right now we live in the age of grace through faith. And this is often referred to as the church age. For the church is saved by faith in the Lord Jesus, his death, burial, and resurrection. This situation has not always been the case. In previous dispensations God has dealt with mankind in different ways. But after the Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39, we will see God essentially take his eyes off the church, and once again focus on his chosen people. As a result, there are many people out there that believe that the rapture of the church will preceed this Ezekiel 38-39 conflict. Whatever the case maybe, the church will be raptured at least before the start of the seven year Tribulation period when God's starts his plan for the national salvation and regeneration of Israel. The war of Ezekiel 38-39 is a very serious war. It is a war where the Russians lead a moslem coalition down from the north of Israel in an attempt to invade and destroy the Jewish state once and for all. The Russians are referred to in Ezekiel 38-39 by their ancient name of "Magog", while the Iranians who are the leaders of the moslems are referred to as "Persia". To get the name Magog for Russia, we have to do a bit of research in the history books, yet the name Magog is also mentioned as one of the sons of Noah in the Table of Nations from the Bible. Iran on the other hand, has recently changed their name from Persia to Iran in recent memory. So, coming up with who is Persia is not a hard job. Let's take a look at the scriptures from Ezekiel 38-38 and see if we can put together the basis for the war and what ends up happening at the end of it. A look at the first few verses in Ezekiel shows that Russia is literally "dragged" down into this coming war by the Lord placing "hooks in the jaws". This is similar I believe to the way a rider makes a stubborn horse move when the horse does not want to travel. This same application will apply as God makes the anti-semite Russians to move down from the north and head to Israel. The Bible says: Eze 38:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Eze 38:2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, Eze 38:3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: Eze 38:4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts [of armour, even] a great company [with] bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Eze 38:5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Eze 38:6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: [and] many people with thee. As we can see here Russia and Iran will not be alone in this conflict. In fact, it is interesting to note that not a single Arab nation today is mentioned in the Ezekiel 38-39 war. The Arabs appear to be either sitting out of the war or if as some speculate, the fulfillment of Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17 have left the Arabs in no position to fight. Let's take a look at the modern day equivalents of the Ezekiel 38-39 allies that will try to invade Israel. The following table will help sort out the players: The Nations of Ezekiel 38: 1-6 The Ancient Nations ---- The Modern Nations The land of Magog ------ Russia Meshech and Tubal ------ Somewhere in Russia Persia ----------------- Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan Ethiopia --------------- Ethiopia and Sudan Libya ------------------ Libya Ashkenaz --------------- Austria and Germany Gomer ------------------ Eastern Europe Togarmah --------------- Southeastern Europe "Many peoples with thee" ---- Various other nations allied with Russia While there are some nations mentioned in the war from Europe and from Africa, I would also suspect that many Moslem nations in the southern Russian republics could also be involved in the war under the "various other nations allied with Russia" banner. The bottom line is that this is a huge amount of nations assembled in what would surely be the utter destruction of Israel. With anti-semitism growing everyday in the world, it is not far fetched to see such a coalition arise in the end times. Eze 38:7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. Eze 38:8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land [that is] brought back from the sword, [and is] gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Eze 38:9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. Eze 38:10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, [that] at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: Eze 38:11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, Eze 38:12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places [that are now] inhabited, and upon the people [that are] gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Here we can see that the Bible notes that the Gog and Magog invasion will occur in the letter days once Israel has been brought back into the land. As we know, Israel was re-born in the land during in 1948. The Bible also notes that the people living in the land will be living in "safety". This word has caused a lot of confusion over it's meaning. Some have interpreted it to mean living in peace like we do here in the U.S. while overs have interpreted the meaning of the word to mean that Israel is simply living in the land in a false confidence of their current military strength. Messianic Christian scholar Dr. Arnold Frutchenbaum notes that the word "safety" is actually the Hebrew word "betach" which means a "false confidence and security". The verses also mention that Israel will be living in a land of "unwalled villages" and without "bars or gates". Israel right now lives with a wall separating it and portions of the West Bank. This wall is some 400+ miles long and helps to keep terrorist snipers from shooting into Israel. While this is indeed a wall in Israel, it is noteworthy that the vast majority of Israel dwells in peace and security without walls, bars, and gates. In the ancient times of Ezekiel, most if not all cities had walls to protect it from intruders and enemies. Yet, the Israel of today lives without these things. In fact, Dr. Arnold Frutchenbaum notes that this is a good description of the current "kibbutzim" in Israel today. So, as a result, it is my opinion that while the Ezekiel 38-39 war maybe a little ways off, I agree with Dr. Frutchenbaum that Israel is currently meeting the requirements for the Ezekiel 38-39 war. Eze 38:13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? Eze 38:14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know [it]? Eze 38:15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: Eze 38:16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. The above verses show us the motive of the Gog and Magog invasion. The Lord shows us the thoughts of the invading coalition and that they have simply come for a "spoil". Over the years, many Bible scholars have speculated what the "spoil" might be but have never been able to put a finger on it. But recent news reports show that in addition to owning the Dead Sea with it's priceless amounts of precious minerals and metals, Israel has recently stumbled upon massive amounts of offshore oil and natural gas. In fact, the amount of gas and oil can make Israel an energy exporter while providing for their own energy for what is estimated to be for 50 years!! This is absolutely incredible and I believe that these discoveries, during the end of the end times, is simply no coincidence. This is exactly the type of "spoil" that would encourage an energy hungry nation like Russia to take up arms and try to destroy Israel. We also see from the above verse that the far off nations of the world will simply throw a mild protest at the massive invading armies. There will essentially be no one to stand in the way between Israel and the Gog and Magog allies. The U.S. either goes neutral in this war or perhaps if the rapture has occured at this time is simply not in a position to help Israel. Which is exactly what God wants as he will supernaturally intervene to save Israel. Eze 38:17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; [Art] thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days [many] years that I would bring thee against them? Eze 38:18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, [that] my fury shall come up in my face. Eze 38:19 For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; Eze 38:20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that [are] upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. Eze 38:21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. Eze 38:22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that [are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Eze 38:23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD. Finally, we see the fury and anger of God as the Gog and Magog allies move on Israel in order to destroy her once and for all. But as a surprise to the invading forces, who are followers of pagan Islam, they are soon to see the hand of the God of Israel as he lashes out in fury and anger for those who want to destroy his chosen people. God will destroy the invading forces and intervene with his classic weapons of rain, hailstones, fire and brimstone from Heaven. God will also use his classic weapon of having Israel's enemies fight each other. Many will perish at their sword as they try in vain to destroy Israel. god makes it clear he will sanctify his Holy name and the nations will know that he is the Lord. Eze 39:1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: Eze 39:2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: Eze 39:3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Eze 39:4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that [is] with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and [to] the beasts of the field to be devoured. Eze 39:5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD. In these verses God tells us that his destruction on the invading forces of Israel will be so great, that only one-sixth of the invading forces will remain alive from the conflict. God will supernaturally destroy in the mountains of Israel those who came with malicious intent on his chosen people. The invading forces that were aligned against Israel were sure to defeat her had God not intervened. But as previously mentioned in the scriptures, God will do this to magnify and sanctify his Holy name. God also calls on the birds in the area to come and feast upon the the dead men that tried to destroy Israel. This is a lesson to learn here, that those who try to curse Israel will be cursed, and those who bless Israel will be blessed. Just see for yourself in Genesis 12:3. Eze 39:6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD. Eze 39:7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not [let them] pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I [am] the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. Eze 39:8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this [is] the day whereof I have spoken. Here the Lord shows that he is not just content with punishing the invading forces that amassed against Israel, God will also punish the homeland of Russia with fire and brimstone. Many see this as God's punishment and judgment on Russia for her long history of anti-semitism and perhaps even for arming the enemies of Israel when she knew what they were building up arms for. Russia claims all the time that their selling of weapons to Israel's enemies is simply for "defensive" purposes but this is simply not the case. Russia is currently involved in building a nuclear weapons program for Iran, the worst state sponsor of terrorism in the world. The day of reckoning is coming for Israel's enemies and it won't be long now. In addition, the above verses note that through the supernatural intervention of God Israel will be "spiritually awakened" again to God. After seeing the hand of god in action and their enemies defeated, Israel will have a rebirth in their heart for God. Currently about 90% of Israel is secular, with only about 10% being religious. This will clearly change after this conflict. As a result, it is likely that Israel demand to rebuild a Temple and resume Old Testament style worship. It should be noted here that nowhere does the prophet Ezekiel mention that the Jews will come to faith in Jesus. The word "Lord" is also used in the Old Testament to refer to God. The national salvation and regeneration of Israel will only take place at the end of the Tribulation period when the Jewish people come to see the one they pierced and recognize their true Messiah - Jesus Christ. Eze 39:9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: Eze 39:10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down [any] out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD. Here the Bible notes that the Jews will burn the weapons of the invading forces for seven years in order to provide fuel and fire for Israel. These verses give a glimpse of the size of the invading forces and it is massive. There have been articles in the news that describe certain Russia weapons being made out of a chemical that can be used for fuel and for fires. This material I believe is called lignostone and it is in a lot of the heavy weapons like tanks, etc. that would be used in any invasion of Israel. The Bible says that God will turn the tables on the enemies of Israel and that it will be Israel who plunders the enemies. Eze 39:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the [noses] of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call [it] The valley of Hamongog. Eze 39:12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. Eze 39:13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury [them]; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD. Eze 39:14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. Eze 39:15 And the passengers [that] pass through the land, when [any] seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. Eze 39:16 And also the name of the city [shall be] Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. Further, the Bible states that the Jews will be busy bury the dead for seven entire months. There is also an interesting clue that the Gog and Magog war could go nuclear. The verses above mention that special equipped people will go about and collect bones that have flags next to them. This procedure is very similar to the procedure used to clean-up after a nuclear exchange. While this could simply just mean that a flag is put out to have the Jewish inspectors to know where a bone is so they can dispose of it in an appropriate Jewish manner, it is very interesting that perhaps there is a nuclear exchange in the Gog and Magog war. Perhaps at the beginning. I guess only time will tell on this matter, but it is certainly intriguing. Eze 39:17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, [even] a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. Eze 39:18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. Eze 39:19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. Eze 39:20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. Once again we see that God is calling the birds of prey to come and feast on the abundance of dead fighting men who have perished because they dared to rise up against the chosen people of God. This is feast is pretty much a replay of the verses of Ezekiel 38. Eze 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. Eze 39:22 So the house of Israel shall know that I [am] the LORD their God from that day and forward. Eze 39:23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. Eze 39:29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. Here God once again lets us know that he has intervene on Israel's behalf, not because they deserved it, but he does so in order to magnify and sanctify his Holy name. This as we mentioned before will recent in a "spiritual rebirth" for Israel as they will want to demand a new Temple and resume Old Testament animal sacrifices which have not been performed for nearly 2,000 years. God also notes that he has hidden his face from the Jewish people due to their transgressions and uncleanness in their trespasses against God. But at this time, God begins to refocus on the Jewish people and while not hide his face from them anymore. Unfortunately, it will take going through the seven year Tribulation period in order to go the Jewish people to see the errors of their ways and choose salvation in Jesus Christ.

Will it be before, during or after the great tribulation? Five Scriptures are very clear regarding the exact timing of the rapture. If you drop all preconceived ideas and just go by the Scriptures themselves you will see the clarity of it all. Let’s look at the evidence to support the post tribulation rapture doctrine: 1. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens (Mark 13:27). NOTE: This event is the rapture. The elect will be gathered from earth to heaven and it occurs after the tribulation (or that distress depending on the translation referred to), according to Mark 13:24-27: But in those days, following that distress, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens. The second passage is very well-known, but apparently little understood: 2. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed (1 Cor. 15:51,52). NOTE: The rapture is when our bodies will be changed and will occur when the last trumpet is sounded. This event is a also called a “mystery.” 3. Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction (2 Thess. 2:1-3). NOTE: This teaching is clearly about the rapture for it is described here as “our being gathered to him.” The two major events cited by Paul, which must precede it, have not happened and cannot happen until sometime after the temple is rebuilt and the antichrist is then revealed. Hence, the antichrist will be revealed before the rapture and the saints will face him. 4a. The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign. The nations were angry; and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your saints and those who reverence your name, both small and great—and for destroying those who destroy the earth” (Rev. 11:15-18). NOTE: The seventh trumpet is the last trumpet. This is also when God’s wrath begins and the saints are rewarded. Lk. 14:14 says the rewards will be given out at the resurrection of the righteous (or rapture). Immediately before the seventh trumpet sounds, we read this about the seventh trumpet: 4b. But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets (Rev. 10:7). NOTE: The rapture event is a “mystery” in 1 Cor. 15:51,52 and here in Rev. 10:7 (at the last trumpet—the seventh one). This means all that is described during the first six trumpets will be experienced by the last generation of Christians. 5. I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years (Rev. 20:4-6). NOTE: The first resurrection (or rapture) will occur after Christians are beheaded for remaining faithful during the time of the antichrist, which includes not taking the mark of the beast. Compare to 2 Thess. 2:1-3. Just like the pieces of a puzzle that fit together and form a clear picture, when these Scriptures are compared it becomes crystal clear that the rapture will occur after the tribulation period and we face the antichrist. Also related to Rev. 20:4-6 is this passage: If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints. (Rev 13:10) Again, this is more evidence that the saints will face the antichrist and this will be before the first resurrection (or rapture). Yes, there will be a rapture (a catching up), as the Bible teaches: For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever (1 Thess. 4:16,17). But before that event the Book of Revelation teaches an all-out nuclear exchange with massive devastation and death. Again, such will occur before the rapture, unlike what the any-moment rapture people think and have been told. Certainly, Tim LaHaye’s “Left Behind” series and many other such videos, books, etc. have done much harm regarding instilling false hopes in God’s children regarding the rapture escape. One can only wonder how many will have their faith destroyed, if they survive the all-out nuclear exchange with billions dying. Will their faith in the Bible and Jesus be destroyed because they were taught they would be taken away before such happens? If so, then perhaps, their falling away will be part of the great apostasy mentioned in 2 Thess. 2:3. Dear saint, in the past the children of God have been burned at the stake, ripped apart by wild animals for amusement, beaten to death, etc. Please don’t think you won’t go through similar rough times yourself because you are his child. Don’t be deceived. As the age comes to the close, with wickedness increasing and love growing cold (Mt. 24:12), please remember these two Scriptures: Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell (Matt. 10:28). They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death (Rev. 12:11). Remember also that the tribulation is not the wrath of God, as you might have been taught. Furthermore, the tribulation is not seven years in length. It is amazing how some pre-trib rapture people are so adamant about their belief in the timing of the rapture as to state that one is a heretic and/or unsaved if he rejects the pre-trib rapture teaching, but this has actually been taught and some have Rapture False Prophecy believed this very thing. May God help them to see the truth. BTW, there have been MANY false prophecies which have come from the pre-trib rapture camp. Just two such people were Harold Camping and Edgar Whisenant. Remember this: A wonderful paradise kingdom is awaiting the overcomer who remains faithful to God, even if he has the privilege to die for Jesus before getting there. “Is It a Dream...or the Last Days? By Don Twobears I have noticed a strange trend as of late; people continually going about their daily lives as if there is always going to be a tomorrow. The Word of God describes this way of life, how people would make plans for tomorrow—as if they would actually see tomorrow. Never once do they stop and ask themselves: Will tomorrow be there? Of course in the recesses of our minds, we already know tomorrow never does come, it’s always today, it is always right now. We look at the past as something that happened a long time ago and yet most of the time, it was simply minutes ago. “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men” (2 Peter 3:3-7). Jude 1:14-19: “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.” Here we see how the world will be and then to look all around now, are we not there, are we seeing these things taking place all the time? Have you not been able to see the ways everyone is acting, as if responsibility or accountability are always for someone else? Does anyone in the Middle East, other than Israel, take their actions seriously? Or do they prefer to say Israel is always at fault, for every thought possible and followed by action militarily? Hezbollah on one side, Hamas on the other, Syria in civil war at the north, Egypt at the south and then who (Iran).is aiding all these terrorists? Are you starting to see the entire picture now? Luke 21:20-22: “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereunto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.” If you say, you know the Holy Word of God, then make sure you re-read these passages of Scripture. I believe everyone should be able to see what is going on today, across the globe. And we are already knee-deep in Biblical Prophecy. The problem is the quicksand is rising quickly and if memory still serves, that quicksand will be up to our throats before we know it. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12: “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” Our USA is no longer what it used to be, we have been deceived by those that do not follow Jesus Christ. The “powers that be” are making fools of every single one of us to the entire world and then the rest of the world begins to believe what everyone is saying and thinking; they are protesting, fussing and fighting everywhere. And no two groups are fighting for the same thing, everyone has an opinion but they have no plan of implementation for what they are protesting about. They complain, they get on the evening news and that’s about it. It goes no further, because no one cares. If you don't think the “delusion” of God hasn’t been going on for some time, then you are not paying attention. There are vast numbers of people that sit in the churches and act like they’re praying and fervently standing for the Lord, yet how many see the times we are experiencing and telling the unsaved about Jesus Christ and the Rapture to come? How will they explain their inattentiveness to their duty to the Lord when they stand before Him? Vast numbers are able to sing every hymn, recognize the Word of God and can recite book, chapter and verse verbatim, and yet they are not saved to Jesus Christ. They have never given their lives over to Him completely. One foot is in the grave and the other is on a bar of slippery soap. Preachers and teachers are telling others about the “prosperity or the feel-good gospel” and millions of them are believing every word. They stand there with their big smiles, mouths full of bright white choppers, their silver tongues professing filth against a loving and wonderful God who wants to save them. You can bet your bottom dollar, Satan and his ilk are working overtime, to spell out everyone’s most horrible demise for eternity. How many people are calling themselves Christians, yet they are not? How many are just sitting back and simply waiting for the Rapture to take them out of this world, when they KNOW there are billions that do not know Jesus Christ? How many are applying financial support to whoever needs it, to spread the Word of God? How many are willing to stand up and state to the world they believe and Love Jesus Christ? How many are willing to tell everyone they know about Jesus Christ and that they do not need to perish in the Tribulation and then the lake of fire? How many are reading their Bibles every day, praying without ceasing, standing with the sick and the lonely, the old and the infirmed? How many are visiting the prisons and helping the prisoners to change their lives to follow Jesus Christ? And the list can go on and on. Sadly, there are few. Matthew 9:35-38: “And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 28:16-20: “Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Have we missed anything here? Are these our marching orders or not? Is this what we are supposed to be doing as we wait for His coming again to take us from this world? I KNOW it is! And so do you, IF in fact you are born-again to Jesus Christ. It’s sort of funny in a way. I was not given the ability to stand in the pulpit and expound the Word of God, but there are others that can and should be doing exactly that. The point is, the Lord asked me to write and so I write and expound the Word of God anywhere and everywhere that I am allowed, or asked to, or offered to write at. I am no better than anyone else, I am a sinner too, just like everyone else but the Lord spoke to my heart and told me of His love for me and that He died a horrible death on a Roman cross...for me. For His precious blood to cover my sins, not just one or two, but all of them. I listened to Him and it was then He impressed upon me to: “Write and tell others, they will listen.” Now that is my greatest priority. It’s very, very, strange when I came to Jesus Christ. Standing there and looking at every sin I ever committed and seeing Him look at them too...it was mortifying to say the least, so ashamed, I couldn't look at Him. Immediately His PRECIOUS BLOOD covered every single Sin and they disappeared into the “sea of forgetfulness.” “I love you son...I am right beside you forever now, I will never leave or go away!” Suddenly, that saying we learned in ‘Nam rolled through my head: “I will never give up, give in or go away!” A wave of relief washed over me, like I have never known before. The point is, Jesus Christ was willing to die for me and not only willing, but did indeed die for me! Who in their right mind would do such a crazy thing as that, especially for someone He didn’t even know...or did He? I do not care how many years ago that was, it's enough for me to know that I belong to Him, because HE Loved me first. So what is your case with Jesus Christ? Did HE indeed change your life, because HE loves you and died for you? Or are you more in love with the process of worship? Is it because you get goose pimples every time you’re in church, standing on hallowed ground? Have you missed the point, that you need Jesus Christ...who IS God...to change your life forever? Let me reinforce something here! You must come to Jesus Christ...humbly! After all you are speaking with the eternal God in heaven. You must ask Him to forgive you of your sin. You must then be willing to walk to His cross and nail your old-self there and then walk away from it. This is because you are a “new creature” now, by virtue of God’s faithfulness and love. You must be willing to let Him change you into the exact person He has always wanted you to be. Now you are given your marching orders and the information you will need to tell others about HIM. You do not save anyone, you are the messenger, only Jesus Christ can save them. One last thing. The Lord God knows who will be the last person to be saved to Him before the Rapture. As soon as that takes place He will be standing there among the parting clouds, in all His Glory and power and everyone on earth will see Him. You will hear Him say, “Come up Hither” and immediately every true born-again believer will rise to meet Him in the air! And all of us will forever be with Him in heaven! The bad thing? The majority of those left behind will be watching and then wondering why they weren’t taken as well. Suddenly, they will KNOW why they were left behind, there will be no question about it, they will know. That will leave exactly seven (7) years left for them to live. Can you imagine the horror that they will be facing, the horror of being left behind? Is that what you really want for yourself? I believe my head would explode at that moment! John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” All emboldened Scripture is added by the author for emphasis.
