The Berean: Daily Verse and Comment

The Berean: Daily Verse and Comment About The Berean | Archives | Random Berean | Subscriptions Printer version Like this on Facebook Matthew 12:14 (14) Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. Mark 3:6 (6) And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. Luke 6:11 (11) And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus. King James Version Change Bible versions The heart represents the seat of feeling and affection. For instance, one is said to be tenderhearted when easily affected by others' sufferings. A person may be affected by his own sin or, in contrast, by the love and commands of God. The Pharisees act, not with sorrowful indignation, but with ruthless, murderous hearts (Mark 3:6). While theirs were hardened, Jesus' heart ached. What a contrast! Here is illustrated the nadir of the Pharisees' hypocrisy. They policed Sabbath activities to ensure no one broke their human rules for keeping it, condemning those who did, while having no qualms about plotting Jesus' murder! They would allow the rescue of a sheep on the Sabbath but not the rescue—through healing—of a human being. God prophesies about the church: Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. (Ezekiel 11:19-20) The day will come when we will all have "a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water" (Hebrews 10:22). As the next verse encourages, "He who promised is faithful." He will create this clean heart in us as we follow the righteous example of His Son. — Martin G. Collins

I want to thank you for your prayers for Saeed

Dearest friends, I want to thank you for your prayers for Saeed. I have an exciting update to share with you! A relative was permitted to visit Saeed in prison yesterday!!! It is such an answer to prayer for Saeed to be able to have visitors this Christmas Season and for me to be able to have updates on how Saeed is doing! The Lord has been gracious to me and has given me an early Christmas present! Below are the updates on Saeed: 1- Saeed had been made aware of the empty Thanksgiving plate settings to remember him (and the persecuted church). I had gathered the pictures you all had shared to show it to Saeed. He was so encouraged and moved by it! 2- Saeed continues to have severe pain and would appreciate your prayers. He has felt the presence of Jesus ever so near to him during this time and has felt all of your prayers. He wants you all to know how your prayers have crossed prison walls and how the Lord has been ministering to him. He wanted to thank you all for it! With the third Christmas approaching without Saeed, the journey is quite difficult. There are a lot of unknowns regarding Saeed’s release and the timing, but both Saeed and I are trusting the Lord. Jesus Christ has never failed nor forsaken us. Thank you for your continued prayers. We Love you all Naghmeh (and Saeed)

The Ways in Which the Jezebel Spirit Will Operate

The Ways in Which the Jezebel Spirit Will Operate In part 1, I talk about What is a Jezebel spirit. Here are 11 specific things I have isolated on this spirit once it moves in on someone to set up shop. Again, this type of spirit likes to play the same kind of games every time it moves in and attaches to someone. The Evil Personality Traits of the Jezebel Spirit The Spider Web Analogy There Will Be a Charismatic Type Energy on the Host Likes To Attach to Sharp, Intelligent, and Attractive People When It Can Will Always Seek to be the Center of Attention Will Seek to Infiltrate, Attack, and Undermine Everything Will Go After Anyone in a Leadership Position Runs in Tandem With a Mocking Spirit Especially Hates Prophets, Prayer, and Spiritual Warfare Will Occasionally Expose Itself on a Photo The Host Usually Will Not Know They Have This Kind of Spirit in Them Now I will briefly discuss each one of these so you can see how this type of spirit will attempt to move against you and bring you and everything you are connected to completely down. 1. The Evil Personality Traits of the Jezebel Spirit I want to start this off with the actual traits of this evil spirit, so you can have all of this information right at the top of this section. Below is a list of the personality traits of this kind of evil spirit. The Jezebel spirit will try to infect and contaminate the person it is in so they too will operate with these same kinds of evil traits. It has always amazed me over the years that this kind of spirit can get very smart and intelligent people to do its evil bidding so easily. Some of these people will say and do some of the most horrible things, but yet find some way to rationalize it and think they are perfectly justified in doing what they are doing. This spirit will play some of these people like fiddles, like a puppet on a string, with the puppet master being the Jezebel spirit itself. Here are some of the evil personality traits to look for with a person who has been operating under this spirit’s evil influence for quite some time. Pure Evil and Hate Vile Maximum Pride Highly Lustful and Seductive Highly Self-Centered and Narcissistic Will Always Seek To Be the Center of Attention Very Judgmental, Critical, Condescending, and Demeaning Overly Demanding and Manipulating Cold, Ruthless, Cunning, and Calculating Very Combative and Confrontational Very Good at Lying and Cheating Cannot Stand Any Type of Constructive Criticism Hates All Prophets, Prayer, and Anything to Do With Spiritual Warfare Will Be Capable of Giving False Prophecies, Visions, and Dreams This spirit operates with maximum pride in it. As a result, it will try to infect the host with that same kind of pride. And once it does, the host will no longer be able to accept any type of constructive criticism from anyone. The host will seek its own throne and they will now have to be the total center of attention. Everything will now be about them and them alone. They also will no longer be able to bond with anyone because they are now totally self-sufficient in their own blown-up egos. The only true friends they will have are the people who will get duped into falling into their web of deceit and lies, where they will now become their mindless followers. These people will have all of their true friends leave them because no one wants to be around this kind of evil spirit and around these kinds of negative, evil, and destructive personality traits. And then sooner or later it happens, this person completely fails and falls, as well as losing anything that is close to them. And this was all due to them allowing this kind of evil spirit to get on the inside of them in the first place, and from there, blindly follow this evil spirit’s leadings to do what it wanted them to do.

"Will The Master Find You Watching?"

"Will The Master Find You Watching?" By Bobby Blanton “Jesus is coming soon!” they have boldly proclaimed. And the truth is, people in each generation before us, who were convinced that they would be the last, were obviously wrong. We’ve heard all of this before and most have grown weary and tired of any conversation or warnings about end times: “My preacher doesn’t preach about it, the Sunday school teacher doesn’t teach about it, so why should I even think about it? Weren’t we told that no man would know the day or hour? That ought to settle it. And Hal Lindsey, is he even still living? Hand me the remote please!” Hold on, don’t change that channel just yet. Can we really know? Are we really at the very end of days? It’s an important question and one I believe the Bible answers clearly, so let’s begin... Jesus gave us an important end-time prophecy shortly before His crucifixion, which is recorded in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Jesus’ disciples wanted to know what to watch for... “Tell us when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3). Jesus responded with a somber warning: ”Watch out that no one deceives you.” Jesus knew that His answer held eternal consequences and wasn’t suggesting that we be passive spectators. No, He was commanding us to stay wide awake as we watch for certain signs—clear indications that would alert us to His soon return. Matthew, a Jewish tax collector and disciple of Jesus, penned it this way: “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him” (Matthew 24: 42-44). That’s about as clear as it gets! I hope you agree. How about another Jewish disciple, Mark. What was his message? Glad you asked... “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’” (Mark 13:28-30, 35-37). Is that clear enough? It should be. And Luke, the doctor, the gentile Christian, what was his take? Again, glad you asked... “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36). The Bible speaks volumes about the uncertain times in which we live and the Lord does not want any of us to be unprepared: Watch, pay attention, be alert, be vigilant, on guard, focused and fully awake! Could His instruction be any clearer? How prepared is this world for “the Lord Himself to come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God?” (1 Thess. 4:16). Many recent headlines and significant events that have come to pass in both this nation and around the world should draw us into God’s Word to help us sort it all out. But I don’t see that happening, I see a world asleep to the realities of what the Bible says, the masses seemingly without even a clue. So what are we watching for? What are our greatest clues? For those of us who are paying attention, the evidence just keeps mounting and escalating, both in intensity and frequency. And it all begins and ends with Israel, the city of Jerusalem and the Jewish people. For the end to come and any of this matter, He who scattered the Jews had to bring them back into the land and make them a nation again, 1948, check. Jerusalem had to become whole again under Jewish sovereignty, 1967, check. The primary “sign” that would mark the end of the age was in place, the “fig tree” had re-blossomed and we would know that summer is near! The birth pangs could begin! Now, can you tell me what day of any week that there isn’t an international news story surrounding this tiny nation? Jerusalem has become “a stone too heavy and the whole world is reeling over Jerusalem” (Zech. 12:3). The attention of the world remains riveted on “dividing” the land of Israel and the diplomatic effort is being led by President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry. We continue to watch a world that is enthralled in wars and rumors of wars. Islamic terrorism is the new norm in the Middle East. ISIS through evil, horror and beheadings has consolidated borders of a new “caliphate” and have their eyes set upon Jerusalem. Ayatullah Khamenei threatens to annihilate Israel and marches Iran defiantly toward a nuclear bomb. Putin continues to flex his muscles after leading Russia to take over Crimea in Ukraine. Where will he end? I think I know where, because God has told us—in Ezekiel 38. The United States of America, led by Barack Hussein Obama, has embarked upon a course to challenge and redefine God’s family order, and now it’s a race toward all 50 states with new gay marriage laws. He has methodically and dangerously led this nation to a diminished stature as a world superpower. But the greatest danger is that there’s a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him. We have removed God and prayer from our children in schools and are shocked at the breaking news of yet another tragic shooting. How about the unprecedented increase in violent earthquakes and volcanoes all over the world? Ebola, drought, famine, where does it end? The headlines paint a picture of a world feeling birth pangs. And then there is the unmistakable sign of the false teachings coming from so many churches. No need to teach truth or sound doctrine, it might offend or convict someone of sin and a need for the Savior. To stay relevant in a changing world, many will marry same-sex couples, ordain homosexual clergy, and by the way—there’s no need to talk about repentance. Are they serious? God help us! He said that: “Day” would not come except there be a falling away first (2 Thess. 2:3.) That falling apostate church has arrived and is on full display. And then there are the signs coming out of the heavens. God is aligning the sun, moon, and stars for an extremely rare tetrad of four blood moons in 2014 and 2015 that all appear on Jewish Feast days and also during a Shemitah year. We are there folks. For the first time in 2000 years, you and I are seeing the many signs of a generation that the Hebrew prophets spoke of long ago. Thousands of years of Jewish history is about to reach its final climax, and we have a front row seat. Something big is about to happen that will change the course of world history. Let’s get personal for a moment...What road is your life on? What map are you using to get to the right gate? What God is your life serving? Your answers and your testimony matter, and the One and Only, “I AM” God suggests the following... “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes” (Luke 12:35-37). God Bless, Bobby All emboldened Scripture is added by the author for emphasis.

Around The Corner

Around The Corner Around the corner I have a friend, In this great city that has no end, Yet the days go by and weeks rush on, And before I know it, a year is gone. And I never see my old friends face, For life is a swift and terrible race, He knows I like him just as well, As in the days when I rang his bell. And he rang mine but we were younger then, And now we are busy, tired men. Tired of playing a foolish game, Tired of trying to make a name. "Tomorrow" I say! "I will call on Jim Just to show that I'm thinking of him", But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes, And distance between us grows and grows. Around the corner, yet miles away, "Here's a telegram sir," "Jim died today." And that's what we get and deserve in the end. Around the corner, a vanished friend. © by owner. The Darling

The Darling Let's keep it simple. You're a real darling! You don't even have to admit the fact that people are pulled in by your charming nature. What is inside you also shows on the outside, and it's simply irresistible. Perhaps what's most refreshing about you is that you never comprise yourself and don't need to apologize. You're loved for who you are.

Sucker's Bet

By Todd Strandberg Sucker's Bet I'm very keen to read ever-negative email sent to Rapture Ready. Reading all the letters that disagree with the site helps me better understand why people have trouble with the end-time message. I use this information to help me refine the advice we offer to the public. At the heart of many emails is content I identify as the "Sucker's Bet." The people who send us these messages view us "Doomsday Christians" as wasting our lives by endlessly waiting for a Lord who is never coming. They base their opinion on the idea that Jesus hasn't come in 2000 years, so this complete lack of activity should prove that He is not coming at all. Some of these people bet they will have the satisfaction of watching me squander my life on a meaningless quest. But I'm not sure where they see the payoff. If I outlive them, there is no payoff. If they outlive me, some other Christian will carry on the bet. The only wager I see is their hope that Jesus doesn't come back and bring their carefree existence to a premature end. What is a "Sucker's Bet"? It's a gamble that someone makes based on a false view of the odds. Someone believes he has a higher likelihood of winning than he actually does. In most cases, the sucker does not realize he is being put at a disadvantage. It's not until these people come up shorthanded that they realize they run afoul of the rules of logical thinking. Games of Chance The genesis of deception begins with the failure to understand that the world is filled with people who are constantly scheming ways to deceive us. A wise person uses critical thinking to assess all questionable situations. I can think of three popular games of chance that perfectly illustrate that things are not always what they appear to be. Milk Bottle Toss -- If you have ever been to a carnival, you may have seen the "milk bottle toss." The game may have other names, but it usually involves trying to use three or four beanbags to knock down six small metal bottles that are stacked in a pyramid. What makes this a sucker's bet is the fact that the three bottles on the bottom of the pyramid are much heavier than the ones on top. While the three lighter-weight bottles on the top row can be easily knocked over, toppling those on the bottom requires a direct hit. "Let's Make a Deal" -- Back in the late 1970s, several TV game shows offered people the chance of winning big prizes through a random selection. In one of these setups, a contestant was told to chose from five boxes, with one containing the top prize and the others containing prizes of lesser value. After the person made his or her selection, the host would often open three of the remaining boxes, giving the impression that the contestant now had a 50/50 chance of being a big winner. Because the host knew which box contained the keys to the shiny new Buick, the contestant's chances were still only 20 percent. If the host offered him $5,000 to pass on the opportunity to win the car, the wise choice would be to take the money and run. The Claw -- Another "Sucker's Bet" is the claw vending machine you might see at a mall or at the entrance of a supermarket. The game features prizes--usually plush toys such as teddy bears--heaped inside a clear case. The player puts coins into the machine, activating a joystick that controls the claw for a short time. The catch is that the player can move the claw back, forth, and sideways--but not up or down. As popular as the machines are, they are commonly considered to be rigged. In many cases, the claw lacks the mechanical strength to extract a prize. Inside these one-hooked-bandits is a control box that controls the grip strength and "pay-out" odds. A survey by a British group found that a typical machine is set to offer only a reasonable chance every fourth try. Having played one of these games before, I've noticed my chances were comparable with what they would be if I were blindfolded. Know the End-Time Odds I believe people who scoff at prophecy are making a "Sucker's Bet" because they fail to realize that prophecy is in an advanced state of fulfillment. Most of these people make assumptions about end-time prophecy without even studying the evidence. For centuries we've had general signs that pointed to man's prophetic destiny. While atheists promise a utopian society, the reality is that we are moving closer to the type of self-destruction the Bible warned about. All bets should have been off when, in 1948, Israel became a nation. The Bible predicted its rebirth, and for several centuries it seemed impossible that this would happen. On several occasions, the Jews almost never had the chance to regather as a nation. Hitler came very close to wiping out any hope of a future Israel. The critics need to realize that the Bible was correct about the Jews. It didn't predict the Moabites would be reformed as a nation. Of all the thousands of civilizations that existed, Israel is the only nation that has come back from the dead. When the Romans destroyed the State of Israel in 70 AD, I don't think any observer would have been willing to wager that people would be back. The odds of improbability don't just stop at Israel. Bible prophecy predicted a number of other events that are in the advanced stages of coming true. The Word of God warned that China would rise to be a world power; it foretold of Europe forming a single government; it said the world would someday have a global integrated financial market; and it predicted the diplomatic struggle we see today over who should control Jerusalem. Jesus said something that makes it all the more risky to bet against prophecy. In Matthew 24:34, He told us, "This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." There is no consensus on how long "this generation" would last, but because many key prophetic events are in the late stages of development, it would be logical to place us close to the end of that generation. Betting Against Yourself Ironically, the Bible prophesies that one of the signs of the end-times is people making "Sucker's Bets." The more these people mock, the more they are pushing the prophetic clock closer to doomsday . "Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with {their} mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, 'Where is the promise of His coming? Forever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation'" (2 Pet. 3:3-4). In a way, these folks are placing bets against themselves. They may verbalize their opposition, but all their chips are on helping to fulfill prophecy. If the end-time message is false, there should be no need for any great concern. When I respond to people, I reply to the real issue they are secretly addressing. People usually write me because they are bothered by events that confirm Bible prophecy. I point out to them that prophetic fulfillment is the real reason they're mad at me, and I warn them by saying, "If my luck with the end-time signs doesnt run out soon, yours will."

Mike Sayer Halloween aka Samhain👹 It's very sad to see how much people are dressing their kids up as some other being. The Bible Believers Response To Halloween

Now The End Begins The Bible Believers Response To Halloween by NTEB News Desk Looking At Halloween From The Bible's Perspective "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret." Ephesians 5:11,12 The Bible says that the Christian is called to liberty, that we are under grace and not under the Law. New life in Jesus Christ has given us freedom to live as we choose to live. But with that freedom comes the awesome responsibility of living our lives in such a way that we are prepared for the Judgment Seat of Christ. Good choices, Godly choices made here on earth will reap crowns in Heaven. But using that same liberty as an occasion for our own selfish desires results in the loss of those crowns. Choose you this day whom ye shall serve, the Bible says. God allows us to make the choices. should-a-christian-celebrate-halloween-all-souls-days-hallowed-eve-bible-believer October 31st was celebrated by the Druids with many human sacrifices and a festival honoring their sun god and Samhain, the lord of the dead. All through the Bible we read about Satan, the Devil, whose only goal in life is to trip us up, cause us misery and sorrow. The Bible says that he only comes to seek his victims, kill his victims, and destroy as many lives of the saved and unsaved as possible. He is a constant force luring us astray, and never-ending downward pull to the dark side, and he uses any means possible to complete the mission. Halloween in America in 2014 is one the most-celebrated "holidays" all year, and Christians participate in it nearly as much as any other group of people. Parents dress their little darlings in princess and cowboy costumes, knock on doors for candy, and decorate the inside and outside of their houses with festive jack-o-lanterns, hanging ghosts, adorable witches and warlocks. But where did this day originate? Let's take a look. Many Christians celebrate holidays, such as Halloween, without thinking about their origins or true meaning. It is impossible to separate Halloween from the Druids because they originated the "holiday." For several hundred years before Christ, the Celts inhabited what is now France, Germany, England, Scotland and Ireland. Celtic priests were called Druids. These people were eventually conquered by the Romans. Information about the Celts and Druids comes from Caesar and the Roman historians, Greek writings from about 200 B.C., and very early records found in Ireland. Greek and Roman writings about the Druids dwell heavily on their frequent and barbaric human sacrifices. The ancient Irish texts say little about human sacrifices, but detail the Druids' use of magic to raise storms, lay curses on places, kill by the use of spells, and create magical obstacles. The cute jack-o-lanterns on your front porch were first used by the Druids in their human sacrifices. After they killed their victim, they drained the fat from their body and filled the gourd or pumpkin with it and put a candle wick inside. A sinister face was carved on the outside face of the pumpkin and the wick was lit, burning the fat as fuel. This was done to appease their gods, the dark spirits, Satan. October 31st was celebrated by the Druids with many human sacrifices and a festival honoring their sun god and Samhain, the lord of the dead. They believed that the sinful souls of those who died during the year were in a place of torment, and would be released only if Samhain was pleased with their sacrifices. Irish records tell of the fascination the Catholic monks had with the powerful Druids, and Druids soon became important members of their monasteries. Pope Gregory the Great decided to incorporate the Druids' holiday into the church. He made the proclamation, "They are no longer to sacrifice beasts to the devil, but they may kill them for food to the praise of God, and give thanks to the giver of all gifts for His bounty." Pope Gregory III moved the church festival of October 31st to November 1st and called it All Hallows or All Saints' Day. Pope Gregory IV decreed that the day was to be a universal church observance. The term Halloween comes from All Hallows Eve. The founding fathers of America refused to permit the holiday to be observed because they knew it was a pagan holiday. Halloween was not widely celebrated in the U.S. until about 1900. In the 1840's there was a terrible potato famine in Ireland which sent thousands of Catholic Irish to America. They brought Halloween with them. The modern custom of going from door to door asking for food and candy goes back to the time of the Druids. They believed that sinful, lost souls were released upon the earth by Samhain for one night on October 31st while they awaited their judgment. They were thought to throng about the houses of the living and were greeted with banquet-laden tables. People greatly feared these spirits and thought that the spirits would harm and even kill them if the sacrifices they gave did not appease Samhain. They carved demonic faces into pumpkins or large turnips, placing a candle in them to keep the evil spirits away from their homes. The tradition of bobbing for apples and giving out nuts came from a Roman addition to the Druidic New Year's eve. The Romans worshiped Pomona who was the goddess of the harvest. They combined their harvest festival to Pomona with Halloween. Very little archeological evidence of the Druids has been found, but there is excellent agreement between the Roman and Irish documents. Both clearly state that the knowledge of the Druids was never committed to writing but passed from generation to generation by oral teaching. This was to protect their secrets. Nothing is put into writing. The Druids continue on secretly with much the same traditions. When we, the Christians, participate in Halloween we are continuing the Druid tradition that was begun in human sacrifices and worship of the gods of the underworld. The Bible tells us to not merely avoid evil, but to also avoid anything that might appear evil. We are called to be "salt and light" to a lost and dying world. We are called to be a "peculiar people", visibly different from the world around us. Participating in the Devil's holiday, at the very least, is a bad testimony and sends confusing messages to our children. Use your liberty in Christ any way you chose this October 31st, just remember that one day Jesus will ask you about it at the Judgment Seat. How will you respond then?

Beware The Demon Gateway Of The Ouija Board

Now The End Begins Beware The Demon Gateway Of The Ouija Board by NTEB News Desk The battle that takes place in the spirit world is all too real "If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul." Deuteronomy 13:1-3 This Halloween, a terrifying new movie based on an old board game called Ouija is being released. Most everyone reading this article knows what a Ouija board is, and many of you have real, scary stories about the times you played it at some point in your life. Please take this friendly word of warning, avoid seeing this movie at all costs. The things portrayed in the film are real things, the bible has a lot to say about devils and demons. ouija-board-demon-gateway-halloween-defeated-by-shed-blood-of-jesus-christ King Saul and the Witch of Endor "And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets. Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor." 1 Samuel 28:6,7 King Saul needed answers about an upcoming battle he was about to have with the Philistines. When he prayed to God, God was silent. Instead of patiently waiting for Him to answer, Saul did what he was commanded not to do. He consulted a witch and asked her to bring up the spirit of the deceased prophet Samuel. Up comes Samuel and delivers the news to Saul, his kingdom was to be taken from him and that he and his sons would die on the field of battle. Both those things happened within the next three days. His trip to the psychic cost him his life. The Demon Possessed Man Of Gadarene "And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him." Luke 8:27,28,30 Jesus went and visited a man that was possessed with a legion of devils. The Encyclopedia Britannica says that a legion can have up to 6,000 soldiers in its ranks. The devils that lived in this man beat him, cut him and cast him into the fire. After Jesus cast them out, the bible says that then the man was found "clothed and in his right mind." As you can see, the bible talks quite openly about witches, spirits, demons, devils, and all the other things attached to darkness. The bible says that these things are real, and warns the reader in no uncertain terms to stay far away from them. God is trying to protect you if you will heed His warning. Halloween is a night where darkness and demons are given the spotlight, and the spirit that is associated with that night is satanic. Just Google "ouija board horror stories" and read some of the unbelievable experiences people have had while using a Ouija board. In 2014, America is playing a dangerous game with it's current flirtation with things associated with the Devil. Black Masses, the All-Seeing Eye of Horus and demonic movies are everywhere, and the tide of darkness continues to rise. "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." Where is the justice

Iran has gone ahead with an execution of a woman despite an international campaign urging a reprieve. Reyhaneh Jabbari, 26, was hanged in a Tehran prison on Saturday morning. She had been convicted of killing a man she said was trying to sexually abuse her. Jabbari was arrested in 2007 for the murder of Morteza Abdolali Sarbandi, a former intelligence ministry worker

Nine Scary, Real Technologies That Will Soon Be Implanted Inside You

Now The End Begins Nine Scary, Real Technologies That Will Soon Be Implanted Inside You by NTEB News Desk Implantable everything is right around the corner, there is no stopping it "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Daniel 12:4 "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." Revelation 13:16,17 The world we live in is finally starting to catch up with the King James Bible, at least a little bit. Thousands of years ago, God declared through His prophets that in the last days there would be an explosion of knowledge, and that the sealed books given to Daniel would be opened. He also said that as this was happening, a man of dark countenance would rise and deceive the whole world. As you read this, we stand poised on the razor's edge of prophetical history. One group, the blood-bought redeemed of the Lord Jesus Christ, wait in anticipation of the Blessed Hope found in Titus 2:13. Everyone else is unwittingly waiting for the Man of Sin to step out of the shadows and onto the world stage. Our question to you is this - which group are you in? Wearables will have their moment in the sun, but they're simply a transition technology. Technology will move from existing outside our bodies to residing inside us. That's the next big frontier. Here are nine signs that implantable tech is here now, growing rapidly, and that it will be part of your life (and your body) in the near future. 1. Implantable smartphones Sure, we're virtual connected to our phones 24/7 now, but what if we were actually connected to our phones? That's already starting to happen. Last year, for instance, artist Anthony Antonellis had an RFID chip embedded in his arm that could store and transfer art to his handheld smartphone. implantable-smart-phones-rfid-microchip-666-mark-of-the-beast But what takes the place of the screen if the phone is inside you? Techs at Autodesk are experimenting with a system that can display images through artificial skin. Or the images may appear in your eye implants. Researchers are experimenting with embedded sensors that turn human bone into living speakers. Other scientists are working on eye implants that let an image be captured with a blink and transmitted to any local storage (such as that arm-borne RFID chip). 2. Healing chips Right now, patients are using cyber-implants that tie directly to smartphone apps to monitor and treat diseases. A new bionic pancreas being tested at America’s Boston University, for instance, has a tiny sensor on an implantable needle that talks directly to a smartphone app to monitor blood-sugar levels for diabetics. Scientists in London are developing swallowable capsule-sized circuits that monitor fat levels in obese patients and generate genetic material that makes them feel "full". It has potential as an alternative to current surgery or other invasive ways to handle gross obesity. Dozens of other medical issues from heart murmurs to anxiety have implant/phone initiatives under way. 3. Cyber pills that talk to your doctor Implantables won’t just communicate with your phone; they’ll chat up your doctor, too. In a project named Proteus, after the eensy body-navigating vessel in the film Fantastic Voyage, a British research team is developing cyber-pills with microprocessors in them that can text doctors directly from inside your body. The pills can share (literally) inside info to help doctors know if you are taking your medication properly and if it is having the desired effect. 4. Bill Gates' implantable birth control The Gates Foundation is supporting an MIT project to create an implantable female compu-contraceptive controlled by an external remote control. The tiny chip generates small amounts of contraceptive hormone from within the woman's body for up to 16 years. bill-gates-foundation-implantable-rfid-microchip-birth-control-666-mark-of-the-beast Implantation is no more invasive than a tattoo. And, "The ability to turn the device on and off provides a certain convenience factor for those who are planning their family.", said Dr Robert Farra of MIT. Gives losing the remote a whole new meaning. 5. Smart tattoos Tattoos are hip and seemingly ubiquitous, so why not smart, digital tattoos that not only look cool, but can also perform useful tasks, like unlocking your car or entering mobile phone codes with a finger-point?Researchers at the University of Illinois have crafted an implantable skin mesh of computer fibers thinner than a human hair that can monitor your body's inner workings from the surface. A company called Dangerous Things has an NFC chip that can be embedded in a finger through a tattoo-like process, letting you unlock things or enter codes simply by pointing. A Texas research group has developed microparticles that can be injected just under the skin, like tattoo ink, and can track body processes. All of these are much wiser choices than the name of a soon-to-be-ex. 6. Brain-computer interface Having the human brain linked directly to computers is the dream (or nightmare) of sci-fi. But now, a team at Brown University called BrainGate is at the forefront of the real-world movement to link human brains directly to computers for a host of uses. As the BrainGate website says, "using a baby aspirin-sized array of electrodes implanted into the brain, early research from the BrainGate team has shown that the neural signals can be ‘decoded' by a computer in real-time and used to operate external devices." Chip maker Intel predicts practical computer-brain interfaces by 2020. Intel scientist Dean Pomerleau said in a recent article, "Eventually people may be willing to be more committed to brain implants." "Imagine being able to surf the Web with the power of your thoughts." 7. Meltable bio-batteries One of the challenges for implantable tech has been how to get power to devices tethered inside or floating around in human bodies. You can't plug them in. You can't easily take them out to replace a battery. A team at Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is working on biodegradable batteries. They generate power inside the body, transfer it wirelessly where needed, and then simply melt away. Another project is looking at how to use the body’s own glucose to generate power for implantables. Think the potato battery of grammar school science, but smaller and much more advanced. 8. Smart dust Perhaps the most startling of current implantable innovations is smart dust, arrays of full computers with antennas, each much smaller than a grain of sand, that can organize themselves inside the body into as-needed networks to power a whole range of complex internal processes. smart-dust-nano-devices-internet-of-everything-666-mark-beast Imagine swarms of these nano-devices, called motes, attacking early cancer or bringing pain relief to a wound or even storing critical personal information in a manner that is deeply encrypted and hard to hack. With smart dust, doctors will be able to act inside your body without opening you up, and information could be stored inside you, deeply encrypted, until you unlocked it from your very personal nano network. 9. The verified self Implantables hammer against social norms. They raise privacy issues and even point to a larger potential dystopia. This technology could be used to ID every single human being, for example. Already, the US military has serious programs afoot to equip soldiers with implanted RFID chips, so keeping track of troops becomes automatic and worldwide. Many social critics believe the expansion of this kind of ID is inevitable. Some see it as a positive: improved crime fighting, universal secure elections, a positive revolution in medical information and response, and never a lost child again. Others see the perfect Orwellian society: a Big Brother who, knowing all and seeing all, can control all. And some see the first big, fatal step toward the Singularity, that moment when humanity turns its future over to software.

The Connection Between Chemtrails and the Depopulation Agenda Reply Conspiracy, Depopulation, Healthcare, Recent Articles 5:00 AM A+A-SHARE ON PRINTPRINTSHARE ON EMAILEMAIL 201 6 Google +15 StumbleUpon3 The Power Industry BANNED this Device... On the surface, weather control (manipulation) appears to be a good idea - except for one thing - it's really quite deadly! Why would anyone (in their right mind) think that spraying toxic chemicals (chemtrails) - into our atmosphere - is a good idea? So, the question remains, why do you think "chemtrails" and other geoengineering projects exist today? (Hint: control and profit) Find out "Why in the World are They Spraying" with one of the leading chemtrail experts and filmmaker Michael Murphy. The hidden agenda behind chemtrails and other geoengineering programs Chemtrails seen from space - actual NASA image; What do record snowfalls in Japan; severe droughts in Texas and violent tornadoes have in common? Well, did you know that these extreme weather conditions are sold as derivatives on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange? Imagine the value of knowing (in advance) that a severe storm was eminent and you could bet on it for profit. Do you think there is incentive to control the weather without regard for human life? (It's all true - look it up yourself). Now, let's take a look at how the military is using weather control techniques as a weapon in warfare. Back in 1967, the United States military ran "Operation Popeye" - a "cloud seeding" program during the Vietnam War which extended the monsoon season over Laos. The rainfall was so heavy over 30 - 45 days that truck traffic was impaired - giving the U.S. military an advantage over the enemy. Weather modification programs are killing life on planet earth There is no denying that our current weather patterns have become more extreme and (often times) deadly. But, here's the real shocking news, government agencies have been secretly manipulating the weather for decades and, worse yet, without our permission. State run propaganda machines would have us believe that toxic chemicals sprayed into the atmosphere are designed to save us from global warming. But, the truth is, chemtrails actually cause global warming by preventing the earth from naturally cooling itself - at night. If you have any doubt about the dangers of chemtrails - I suggest you watch the movie, "What in the World are They Spraying" by Michael Murphy. In this film, you will discover many of the toxic substances being sprayed into our atmosphere, such as, Arsenic, aerosol, aluminum, barium, depleted uranium, high levels of mercury plus many other toxic substances. It's no wonder that allergies, asthma and even cancer rates have soared due to the mass poisoning of our population without our consent. Denying chemtrails is dangerous for your health More chemtrails from space - NASA image; Statistical evidence shows that lung issues such as asthma and COPD have risen considerably over the past two decades. While there may be a few factors behind this, hardly anyone includes chemtrails as one of them. Scientists and governments have allowed some "limited hangouts" (partial disclosures) on chemtrails or stratospheric geo-engineering, framing it as "experimental." They openly discuss geo-engineering as "potential" solutions for weather control and protection against global warming. Apparently, they've been doing a lot of open "experimenting" since the early 1990s. They don't really have to deny much. There's plenty of denial from those on the ground who don't look up to see anything different. Or upon noticing chemtrails, they will argue that they are contrails. There are even internet pages devoted to "scientifically" debunking chemtrails as erroneous conspiracy theories, similar to "Quackwatch" sites that go after medical practitioners who successfully treat disease without drugs. The obvious differences between chemtrails and contrails Contrails appear from aircraft propulsion systems of all types at stratospheric altitudes, 30,000 to 40,000 feet up. They are exhaust vapors that become ice crystals in high altitude, low pressure frigid air. Contrails are harmless and dissipate quickly. They don't linger. They usually extend from 20 to 50 plane lengths behind the aircraft. They are very white and somewhat thinly textured. Sometimes high altitude planes can be seen as silver specks without any trail at all. Chemtrails, however, are very different. Chemtrails often extend from one horizon to the other. They tend to be thicker and wider than contrails, and their white plumes can be tainted with slight discolorations. Chemtrails linger for hours or whole days. They tend to fan out and mingle with themselves or actual clouds, forming larger clouds or a haze that covers the sky. At higher ground levels, they can be observed drifting downward to earth. Their paths do not correspond with normal commercial airline flight paths. They often turn around and continue their smoky plumes. Sometimes they will create grid patterns or Xs. See examples here (http://youtu.be/eEFITGpXwZk). Do you recall meeting other aircraft while on a commercial flight, and deviating from the prescribed route to doodle in the sky with the other planes? Of course not. Chemtrails are usually emitted by non-commercial planes. Back on the ground Several sky watchers throughout the world have had residue samples analyzed after collecting them in water containers, air traps, and on shrubbery twigs. They have all come up with two common elements: barium and aluminum. Chemtrails over UK; Barium is very toxic. Reportedly, it was sprayed from aircraft during Gulf War I to weaken the enemy on the ground. Some consider barium salts more toxic than lead. It affects the lungs directly. Aluminum is a toxin that leads to dementia and neurological diseases. The nasal passages and lungs enable aluminum to have easy entry into our blood streams and affect tissues, including the heart and brain. Even if not breathed in to cause immediate respiratory and other long term health problems, these two metals are absorbed into drinking water and crop soils. Interestingly, Monsanto has recently genetically engineered an aluminum resistant gene that can be inserted into crop seeds. A pathogen has been found in some chemtrail analyses. Mycoplasma Fermetens Incognitus, which was observed to be in half the Gulf War Syndrome victims by Dr.Garth Nicholson. The first thing to do is take time to observe and recognize the differences in aircraft trails. Research more, starting with source links below, while detoxing metals regularly. Then get involved on some level to help curb chemtrail activities. Thomas Eric Duncan, America’s First Ebola Patient Dead In Dallas Texas

Now The End Begins Thomas Eric Duncan, America’s First Ebola Patient Dead In Dallas Texas by NTEB News Desk Texas Ebola Patient Thomas Eric Duncan Has Died, Hospital Says Thomas Eric Duncan, the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the United States, died Wednesday morning, the Dallas hospital where he was being treated said. americas-first-ebola-patient-thomas-eric-duncan-has-died-dallas-texas "It is with profound sadness and heartfelt disappointment that we must inform you of the death of Thomas Eric Duncan this morning at 7:51 am," Texas Health Resources spokesman Wendell Watson said in a statement. Duncan, 42, was given the experimental Ebola drug Brincidofovir, but his family said he was doing poorly and the hospital had downgraded his condition from serious to critical. When the family visited Tuesday with the Rev. Jesse Jackson, they declined to view Duncan via video link because the last time had been too upsetting. "What we saw was very painful. It didn't look good," said Duncan's nephew Josephus Weeks.

President Joe Biden held up traffic around Los Angeles for a second day on Tuesday, but it was President Obama himself on the minds of many Southern California drivers as bumper stickers began appearing on area cars featuring the word Ebola with the Obama logo replacing the letter "o." obama-ebola-bumper-stickers The general public does not seem to have any confidence at all in Mr. Obama's ability to handle the current Ebola crisis. The scathing stickers come on the eve of President Obama's Thursday trip to LA for a fundraiser at the home of Gwyneth Paltrow and on the same day that the LATimes reports that it may be premature for Mr. Obama's government to declare that the deadly Ebola virus is not transmitted by air. Dr. C.J. Peters, who battled a 1989 outbreak of the virus among research monkeys housed in Virginia and who later led the CDC's most far-reaching study of Ebola's transmissibility in humans, said he would not rule out the possibility that it spreads through the air in tight quarters. "We just don't have the data to exclude it," said Peters, who continues to research viral diseases at the University of Texas in Galveston. Whatever the case, at least some Southland drivers seem convinced that the President's policy on stopping the virus to-date have not inspired confidence.

If the outbreak of the potentially deadly virus is in West Africa, why are funeral homes in America being given guidelines? The three-page list of recommendations include instructing funeral workers to wear protective equipment when dealing with the remains since Ebola can be transmitted in postmortem care. It also instructs to avoid autopsies and embalming. Alysia English is Executive Director of the Georgia Funeral Directors Association, the oldest and largest funeral association in Georgia. Georgia is comprised of 700 funeral homes and 2,000 funeral directors. CBS46 asked English if Georgians should be alarmed by these guidelines. “Absolutely not. In fact, if they weren’t hearing about it, they should be a whole lot more concerned,” said English. She said Georgia has one of the country’s most thorough public health plans. That includes detailed planning for all hazards such as floods and the flu. “If you were in the middle of a flood or gas leak, that’s not the time to figure out how to turn it off. You want to know all of that in advance. This is no different,” said English. –CBS46

disrespect in the highest form

Now The End Begins See The Incredible Disrepect As Obama Sneers And Salutes With Coffee Cup In Hand by NTEB News Desk Jimmy Carter was an incredibly weak man and a bad president but you never sensed he hated America "Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished." Ecclesiastes 4:13 Actually, we are at a loss for words on this one. Watch as Obama, America's Commander-in-chief, shows nothing but contempt and disrespect for not only the office that he holds, but for the troops that he commands as well. See him as he sneers, looks down at the ground, never removing his Chicago "thug life" sunglasses as he contemptuously fires off a forced salute of the Marines who are there to guard his life. //instagram.com/p/tS-kCoD9l2/embed/ So there should be no wondering why Obama's presidency is not respected, how could it be? With every move he makes and with every word that comes out of his mouth we hear his "message" loud and clear. He hates America. He never even put down the coffee cup.

64 Rapture Ready Reasons – You Must Be Ready

Some hold that this One Coming is simply for taking the believers home to heaven, with a judgment to follow. Those who hold to the Rapture of the Church are far more careful to observe what the Bible says in context. They can observe the simple fact that there is a difference between up and down. Believers go up to meet Christ in the air. The Second Coming is indeed truly a “coming” of the Lord down to the earth physically to establish the millennial kingdom promised to the Old Testament prophets. Below is a list of verses and points, as shown in the Bible, highlighting the difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming of the Lord to reign on earth. Some wonder why there is a heated discussion about this issue. It is important for the following reasons: 1.First, if the Rapture truly is in Scripture, that is enough to make it important. In other words, every doctrine the Lord has given us has a purpose and is important, simply because He has given it to us! 2.The Rapture is called the Blessed Hope. It promises redemption from the terrible seven year Tribulation so detailed in the book of Revelation. 3.Generally speaking, those who deny the Rapture of the Church interpret the Bible in a “spiritualized” or “allegorical” way. They also fail to consider “contexts.” They deny certain passages of Scripture in the normal sense. By letting the Bible speak plainly in its teachings to us, we honor the Lord. We take His Word at face value! Some general rules to note: 1.Rapture passages are addressed to believers in the body of Christ. They are verses that speak of going directly back or up to the Lord in heaven. 2.Second Coming passages have to do with the Lord coming down to earth to bless Israel, judge the nations, and rule the earth with a scepter of iron! Comparison Of Rapture And Second Coming Verses: Rapture: Christ prepares a place for us and takes us back to heaven. “I will come again and receive you to Myself” (John 14:1-3). Second Coming: Coming to reign and rule in Jerusalem, Christ’s feet touch upon the Mt. of Olives. “In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount will split in its middle” (Zech. 14:4). Rapture: Christ prepares a place in heaven. “I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2). Second Coming: Christ becomes a ruling king on earth. “The Lord will be king over all the earth” (Zech. 14:9). Rapture: The Church is with the Lord in heaven. “Where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:3). Second Coming: The Jewish people are with their king on earth. “And people will live in [Jerusalem], and there will be no more curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security” (Zech. 14:11). Rapture: Announced by the trumpet of God (1 Thess. 4:16). Second Coming: Announced simply by a great trumpet (but not called the trumpet of God) (Matt. 24:31). Rapture: Those “in Christ” are gathered “to meet the Lord in the air” (1 Thess. 4:17). Second Coming: The “elect” gathered (of Jews and the nations) (Matt. 24:31) to come before the king on His earthly throne (Matt. 25:31). Rapture: The Lord descends from heaven with a shout (1 Thess. 4:16). Second Coming: The Lord does not shout (Scripture gives no indication of such). Rapture: The voice of the archangel is heard (1 Thess. 4:16). Second Coming: Many angels sound a great trumpet but their voices are not heard (Matt. 24:31). Rapture: No sign given for His coming. Second Coming: A sign is given (Matt. 24:30). Rapture: Called the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thess. 5:9). Second Coming: Called the Son of Man. A distinct messianic term used to describe the earthly Davidic king who shall reign in Jerusalem (Matt. 24:30). Rapture: Comforting words for the Church. The Church will not mourn. “Comfort one another with these words” (1 Thess. 4:18). Second Coming: The nation of Israel will mourn. “Those who pierced Him will mourn” (Rev. 1;7). Rapture: The Scriptures do not indicate that the lost of the world will see His Rapture coming. Second Coming: The entire world will see the Son of Man coming. “All the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky” (Matt. 24:30). Rapture: The Church saints (those in Christ) will be caught up alive “to be together (with the resurrected Church saints) in the clouds” (1 Thess. 4:17). Second Coming: The Messiah, the Son of Man, comes with the clouds (Matt. 24:30) to gather the elect to the place of His earthly throne (25:31). Rapture: Christ’s power is not necessarily displayed openly to the world. Second Coming: He comes “with power and great glory” as the Son of Man to rule on earth (Matt. 24:31). Rapture: Called the Day of Christ (Phil. 1:6, 10; 2:16). Day of blessing for the believer. Second Coming: Called the Day of the Lord (1 Thess. 5:2). Day of judgment for the world, “When they (the world) says ‘Peace and Safety!’ then destruction comes upon them” (v. 3). Rapture: The Day of the Lord. “That day should not overtake you like a thief” (1 Thess. 5:5). Second Coming: The Day of the Lord. “Shall come [on them, the world] like a thief” (1 Thess. 5:2). Rapture: Believers in this Church age will be Raptured out of the Tribulation because they are sons of light, sons of the day (1 Thess. 5:5). Second Coming: Unbelievers left behind to face the Tribulation (the Day of the Lord) because they are of the night, of the darkness (1 Thess. 5:5). Rapture: Believers will be Raptured because they are not destined for wrath (1 Thess. 5:9). Second Coming: Unbelievers will face the Day of the Lord because (implied) they are destined for wrath (1 Thess. 5:9). Rapture: The Dead “in Christ” are raised (1 Thess. 4:16). Second Coming: No mention of the Dead “in Christ” being raised. Rapture: The Rapture takes place with no mention of the issue of sin. Second Coming: The Second Coming of Christ to judge because of the wickedness of the world. Rapture: No mention of Christ coming to rule on earth. Second Coming: Mentions that He comes to establish His earthly kingdom (Matt. 25:31-34). Rapture: No mention of believers “inheriting the kingdom prepared for you” (Matt. 25:34). Second Coming: The righteous “inherit the kingdom” (Matt. 25:34). Rapture: Christ does not do battle with His enemies at the Rapture. Second Coming: Christ does battle with His enemies at His Second Coming (Rev. 19:17-21). Rapture: Christ does not come to earth as a conquering warrior. Second Coming: He comes to earth as a conquering warrior (Rev. 19:11-16). Rapture: He comes as the Head of the Church. Second Coming: He comes as “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” (Rev. 19:16). Rapture: No earthly reign takes place. Second Coming: He reigns for a thousand years (Rev. 20:1-5). Rapture: Those Raptured resurrected are taken up to meet the Lord in the clouds (1 Thess. 4:17). Second Coming: Those in the resurrection at the beginning of the thousand year kingdom, “will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years” (Rev. 20:6). Rapture: When the resurrected Church saints, and we the living Church saints, all together are taken up in the clouds, it is said “we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thess. 4:17). Therefore, when Jesus comes to reign on earth for one thousand years, the Church Age saints will return with Him. Second Coming: Those resurrected at the beginning of the one thousand year reign are apparently those who died during the great Tribulation (Rev. 20:6). Rapture: Resurrection and Rapture only for “those in Christ.” Second Coming: A resurrection for Old Testament saints, that takes place after the “time of distress” (the Tribulation) (Dan. 12:1-2). Rapture: The unsaved people of the nations are unaffected and unchanged at the Rapture. Second Coming: The nations are judged and/or blessed when the Messiah comes to reign. Rapture: The nation of Israel is left unchanged when the Rapture takes place. Second Coming: The nation of Israel is gathered, judged, and the righteous Jews inter kingdom blessing. Rapture: No herald goes before to announce the Rapture. Second Coming: Elijah comes to announce the coming of the Messiah (Mal. 4:5). Rapture: Can happen at any moment. Second Coming: Comes at the end of the seven year Tribulation. Rapture: Not before revealed that Paul had to reveal (1 Thess. 4:13). That’s why Paul says he must tell believers about the Rapture so that they would not be ignorant of the fact. Second Coming: Throughly revealed in Old Testament promises and by Christ in the Gospels. Rapture: Called a “mystery,” something not before revealed (1 Cor. 15:51). Second Coming: The Second Coming is a well known fact taught throughout the Old Testament prophets. Rapture: Believers are changed (1 Cor. 15:51). Second Coming: Believers are not said to be changed, that is, those who believed during the Tribulation and are alive to enter the kingdom when the Messiah comes. Rapture: Before the Rapture, the believers are called those “in Christ” (1 Thess. 4:16). Second Coming: Those believing who are in the Tribulation (Rev. 6-19) are not called “Church saints” nor “those in Christ.” Rapture: Before the Rapture, the believers are called those “in Christ” (1 Thess. 4:16). Second Coming: Both Jew and Gentile who enter the kingdom in their natural body are never called “the Church” nor “those in Christ.” Rapture: When the Rapture takes place those in Christ are “changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye” (1 Cor. 15:51-52). Second Coming: Though the Second Coming happens quickly, the event is still pictured as something that unfolds over (even) a short period of time. A sign in heaven is given, an earthly gathering takes place, both Jews and Gentile mourn at His coming, He steps onto the Mt. of Olives, He enters the city of Jerusalem. Rapture: When the Rapture and/or the resurrection of “those in Christ” takes place, the believer is given “the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” over the issue of death (1 Cor. 15:57). Second Coming: When the Second Coming takes place, Christ comes as the victorious king and general. Following the kingdom and the Great White Throne Judgment, certainly all saints of all the ages past are given eternal life. But this is not mentioned as such at the Second Coming. Rapture: The exhortation to look for “the glorious appearing” of Christ for His own, the Church (Titus 2:13) loses its significance if the Tribulation must first intervene. Church believers, then, should look for signs. But they are not told to. Rapture: Creation is unchanged. Second Coming: Creation is changed by the blessings of the kingdom (Isa. 65:25). “The wolf and the lamb shall graze together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox, … They shall do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain, says the Lord.” Rapture: At the time of the Rapture, or before, there is no indication that the Church saints will see the antichrist or the “power, signs, and false wonders” of Satan (2 Thess. 2:8-9). Second Coming: After the Rapture and sometime before the Second Coming of Christ, the antichrist will “display himself as being God” in the temple (2 Thess. 2:4; 8-9). Rapture: The Rapture is not the Day of the Lord which holds terror for the world. Second Coming: The Day of the Lord is a terrible event that the believers in the Church do not fear. “Do not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed … to the effect that the day of the Lord has come” (2 Thess. 2:1-2). Rapture: The “coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him” is not the Second Coming (2 Thess. 2:1). Second Coming: The Day of the Lord is “a coming” to earth, not our being gathered to heaven (2 Thess. 2:2). Rapture: Christ is not said to destroy the antichrist “with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming (2 Thess. 2:8). Second Coming: Christ destroys the antichrist at His coming (2 Thess. 2:8). Rapture: The Rapture is not called the Second Coming. Second Coming: This is virtually called the Second Coming in Hebrews 9:28. Christ “shall appear a “Second time” for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him. Rapture: In the Rapture “we” are “caught up” into the clouds (1 Thess. 4:17). “Caught up” in Greek means to suddenly “snatch, jerk away, remove quickly.” Second Coming: This is not said of the Second Coming. Rapture: For those who are now looking for the Rapture, a hope is given and causes a moral purification (1 John 3:2-3). Second Coming: This is not said of those looking for the Second Coming, though that is a glorious event in itself! Proofs of the Imminency of the Rapture Imminency means that Paul taught that the Rapture could happen at any time to those to whom he was writing. The key to Rapture passages is Paul’s use of “we, you, us.” In other words believers now are to look for this catching away! (Sometimes these pronouns are not in the English Bible versions but they are implied in the grammar of the verbs Paul uses.) The “you, we, us” passages addressed to the body of Christ, the Church saints John 14:1-3 I go to prepare a place for you. I will receive you to Myself. Where I am, there you may be also. James 5:7-9 [You] strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. [You] behold, the judge is standing right at the door. 1 Thess. 1:9-10 You wait for His Son from heaven. Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come. 1 Thess. 2:17-19 You [our hope], in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming. 1 Thess. 3:13 That [He may] establish your hearts … before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. 1 Thess. 4:13-18 We who are alive, and remain until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. We who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds. We shall always be with the Lord. You comfort one another with these words. 1 Thess. 5:1-11 You are not in darkness, that the day [of the Lord] should overtake you like a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness. But since we are of the day, let us be sober. God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation (deliverance) through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thess. 5:23 May the Lord sanctify you … without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thess. 2:1-2 With regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him. [You] be not quickly shaken … to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 1 Tim. 6:14 You keep the commandment … until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 15:51-52 We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. The dead in Christ will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. Phil. 3:20-21 Our citizenship is in heaven. We eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. [Christ] will transform the body of our humble state (or humiliated body). Titus 2:13 [We are] looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus. 1 John 2:28 We may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming. 1 John 3:2-3 We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is. Everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. A Key Passage: 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 1.The Thessalonian church was “serving” and “waiting for God’s Son from heaven.” (They were not just serving; they were not just waiting! They were doing both!) 2.“Jesus who ‘rescues’ us away from the wrath (that is certainly) coming” (Greek) Frances Plante 64 Rapture Ready Reasons – You Must Be Ready. 64 Reasons The Rapture Of The Church Is Not The Second Coming Of Christ To Reign On Earth Those who do not believe in the biblical doctrine of the Rapture of the Church, usually argue that there is only one Coming or return of Christ to the earth to judge the nations. They were doing both!) 2.“Jesus who ‘rescues’ us away from the wrath (that is certainly) coming” (Greek)

alse prophets that affect church members. Defining Prophet Because of the way "prophet" is commonly used, there is a misconception that its basic definition is "someone who foretells the future," but this definition is too narrow. Prophet is better defined as "one who speaks for another." A true prophet, then, is a person who speaks for God, delivering a message that God has ordained him to give. In Exodus 7:1, God tells Moses that Aaron, his brother, would be his (Moses') prophet, even as Moses was God's prophet. Because of Moses' unbelief in God's ability to speak through him, God would speak to Moses, who would tell Aaron what to say to others—Pharaoh in particular (verse 2). It is the function of speaking for another, rather than the miracles they performed or their foretelling of what would befall Egypt, which defined Moses and Aaron as prophets. Frequently, the words a prophet spoke on God's behalf were, in fact, foretelling what would happen later. However, the prophet's essential role was to speak for God, regardless of whether he did any predicting of the future. A prophet expresses the will of God in words, and sometimes he uses signs to back up what he says and to demonstrate God's power behind it. In a similar way, a false prophet also may not be in the business of foretelling the future. A false prophet is simply someone who speaks for another but falsely. False prophets either speak for the wrong god, or they claim to have heard from the true God but do not accurately represent Him or His words. At the very least, they speak out of their own human hearts, but more likely, the "god" they are speaking for is really a demon. It is true that, if a prophet foretells something that fails to come to pass, he is a false prophet (Deuteronomy 18:20-22), but foretelling the future correctly is not the determining factor when looking at false prophets. The real issue is whether one who claims to be representing God and speaking for Him, is doing so accurately or falsely. A prophet may accurately predict an event or demonstrate supernatural power, but if he is leading people away from the true worship of the true God, he is a false prophet. If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, "Let us go after other gods"—which you have not known—"and let us serve them," you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall put away the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 13:1-5) This passage begins with the assumption that the prophet does foretell the future accurately or perform some other, humanly impossible work. Nevertheless, if that prophet's central message is to follow after a different god or to take a spiritual path that the true God has not said to take, that person is a false prophet. God states unequivocally that misrepresenting Him incurs the death penalty, and Revelation 19:20 says that this is exactly what happens to the False Prophet: He is thrown into the Lake of Fire. Dodging Moral Teaching The message of the false prophet is contrasted in Deuteronomy 13:3-4 with loving the true God with all of our heart and soul (life), walking after Him, fearing Him, keeping His commandments, obeying His voice, serving Him, and holding fast to Him. These elements indicate what God wants His people to be focused on, helping to define whether a man claiming to speak for God is truly doing so or not. Verse 4 mentions obeying God's voice and keeping His commandments. This is a regular theme with God's true prophets: They always have God's law undergirding their messages. When the Old Testament prophets were sent to warn or inform Israel and Judah, they always pointed out the grievous ways in which the people had transgressed God's law. False prophets, on the other hand, will not hold the moral line that God requires. Lamentations 2:14 says that the false prophets "have not uncovered your iniquity, to bring back your captives, but have envisioned for you false prophecies and delusions." False prophets will not connect the dots between the sinfulness of a nation and national calamity. They instead focus on something other than God's standard of righteousness. This same principle appears in Isaiah 8:19-20. Both houses of Israel were guilty of seeking out mediums and wizards for spiritual guidance, and God's response is very telling: And when they say to you, "Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter," should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. God gives us a standard by which to measure the words of a prophet: the law and testimony—His Word. If the prophet's message contradicts what is already established as God's Word, it is evidence that he lacks spiritual understanding. If his words do not line up with God's law and testimony, he is not speaking the truth. In summary, the hallmark of a true prophet is his upholding of the law of God, while false prophets dodge moral teaching and instead preach a message that appeals to the masses. God's truth is abhorrent to the natural mind (Romans 8:7), and thus it is quite common for God's prophets to be killed, while the false prophets enjoy widespread popularity and support. The current trend of outcome-based churches serves as a good example. Their leaders preach a widely popular message, and thousands of people follow them. Yet, Jesus says in Luke 6:26, "Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets." Popularity is not a good measurement of God's pleasure with a leader! Jesus Christ, the most perfect Spokesman for God who has ever lived, only had about 120 true followers when His ministry ended (Acts 1:15). This was not due to failure on His part, but because His Father's message could be wholeheartedly believed only by those whose minds God had already prepared to accept it. "Purpose-Driven" church leaders will not preach the unadulterated Word of God because they know it is divisive. It would also thwart their goals of a large following and a large income. Thus, their messages do not involve repentance, sound doctrine, or God's law, except where it may serve to further whatever purpose is driving them. Their messages do not remind people of their moral responsibilities to God and brother, and thus if they claim to speak for God or say that God sent them, we can know from biblical patterns that they are, in fact, false prophets. Their large churches, as amazing as they might seem, are not accurate indicators of God's involvement or blessing. Fruits of False Prophets The apostle Peter, in warning against false prophets, illuminates their characteristics. The entirety of II Peter 2 is about false prophets and false teachers. What sort of message would these men preach? What would be one's impression of God—whom they allegedly spoke for—after watching and listening to such men? » "But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction" (II Peter 2:1). The King James Version calls their heresies damnable, implying that their words—their messages—are destructive to one's faith and relationship with God. "Denying the Lord" does not mean they deny that He lived or died or that He is God, but that their words and conduct are opposed to His fundamental nature. Their lives deny any close contact with Him. » "By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber" (II Peter 2:3). False prophets use human nature's proclivity toward covetousness to make inroads to a person's heart. » ". . . and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord" (II Peter 2:10-11). False prophets "walk according to the flesh"; their minds are primarily on physical things rather than the true things of God. God is not in all their thoughts (Psalm 10:4). They also despise authority—other than their own—and apparently think themselves superior even to God's angels. They are presumptuous and self-willed, acting out of the dictates of their own hearts (or the influence of a demon) rather than following God with humility and trusting Him to bring His will to pass. » ". . . having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness . . ." (II Peter 2:14-15). The apostle says false prophets have "eyes full of adultery." While this may apply literally, it can also more generally describe unfaithfulness—a willingness to abandon an agreement if they feel it is in their interest to do so. They also worry little about resisting sin. Their hearts are especially trained in covetousness, and like Balaam, they are willing to do just about anything for personal gain. » "While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage" (II Peter 2:19). They promise liberty—freedom, perhaps, from keeping God's law or from persecution or tribulation—but they are themselves enslaved to sin. Not every false prophet will have each of these characteristics, but as generalities, they describe men who are much more concerned about their own situation, well-being, reputation, autonomy, and position than about accurately representing God. We will know these men to be false by the overall fruits they produce, even as they speak clever words that may even contain a degree of truth. This is seen in Jesus' warning in Matthew 7:15-20: Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (emphasis ours) Jesus does not spell out what "fruits" to look for, although in the Olivet Prophecy, He does link the deceptions of false prophets with the lawlessness and lack of love that abounds at the end time (Matthew 24:11-13). However, the rest of the Bible elucidates God's character and nature, so we already have the tools to evaluate whether a message allegedly coming from God fits with what His Word reveals about Him. God is not double-minded; He will not contradict Himself. "By Their Words . . ." A false prophet, then, can be anyone who claims to be speaking for God, but whose message is contrary to God. False prophets will not convict people of sin, for they themselves do not feel convicted. While true prophets speak according to God's law and testimony, false prophets speak soft, easy things to make them more popular. They will tell people what they want to hear. A true prophet expresses the will of God with words. Sometimes signs, wonders, and foretelling are involved to add additional weight, but the most important part is the message. A true prophet points people to God and shows people their sins. False prophets point people to almost anything else. If they do try to point people to a god, it will be a different god from the God of the Bible. Whoever they point to, they do it for their own benefit. Many false prophets simply point people to themselves. Their covetousness manifests itself in a desire for power, influence, control, prestige, or importance—the antithesis of being poor in spirit, meek, pure in heart, and mourning over their ungodly weaknesses. The true prophet does not draw attention to himself but to God. If a prophet or teacher spends a great deal of time talking about himself, it is a good indication just who his god is! John the Baptist, the last Old Testament prophet, serves as a positive contrast. He undoubtedly knew what the angel Gabriel told his father, Zacharias (Luke 1:13-17), but there is no record of John promoting this remarkable story. His focus was not on proclaiming who he was, but on doing the work that God had given him to do. The fruit of his life and teaching reveals that he fulfilled the role of Elijah, which Jesus confirms. A false prophet, though, with his covetousness, presumption, and self-will, is more likely to end up spending a good deal of time talking about himself. Other false prophets, like Balaam, are essentially in it only for the money, and so they will do what is necessary to ensure that the gold rolls in. The False Prophet in Revelation points the whole world to another man—the Beast. A true prophet would never suggest that a man be worshipped, with the exception of John the Baptist pointing the people to God's Son, Jesus Christ. John pointed people to a Man who was also God, and thus worthy of worship. Prophets are false when they fail to express God's will accurately, and they fail because they are not in contact with the true God. The fruits of their lives and the meaning behind their words will indicate the source of their teaching. To paraphrase Jesus Christ, by their words they will be justified, or by their words they will be condemned (Matthew 12:37). If the words of a prophet are contrary to Scripture, contrary to God's law, the prophet is false, and worthy of condemnation for leading people astray.
