Now The End Begins Does The King James Bible Reveal The Identity Of The Antichrist? by Geoffrey Grider Soon, the Church will be raptured out of here and the world we leave behind will be given the modern-day name of Antichrist "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." 1 John 2:18 (KJV) The "last time" that John mentions has been going on for nearly 2,000 years now, and amazingly, it is getting ready to come to it's final, prophetical conclusion. The Church Age, or the Age of Grace, is about to be done, and it will see it's climax in an event called the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. This event will usher in what the prophet Jeremiah saw and called to be the Time of Jacob's Trouble. The Rapture of the Church is not the same event as the Second Coming of Jesus Christ for reasons previously mentioned here. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (KJV) Now, before we go any further, make sure that you are checking these references using the Authorized Version King James 1611 Holy Bible. Because if you aren't, you will not be able to make these connections. Nearly all the modern Bibles remove words and verses, thereby changing the meanings and rendering a proper conclusion impossible. I will show you exactly what I mean at the end of this teaching. So look at what the Holy Spirit through Paul is saying here, two things need to happen right before the Rapture of the Church. One, there has to be a great falling away from the truth. You can check that off the list as that is happening right now. False teachers abound like never before, Bible doctrine is no longer preached, and the Church service has become indistinguishable from your average night at the club. Christianity has become a Laodicean "churchianity" and the sheep are dying from malnutrition. The second thing Paul mentions is that the man of sin, the Antichrist, must be revealed. Paul says that whoever he is, he is the son of perdition. Find him, and you find the Antichrist. "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;" Titus 2:13 (KJV) As Christians, we are commanded to wait and look for the Glorious Appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds to rapture us up and out of here, and so we do. No where in Scripture does it command Christians to look for the Antichrist. But God, in His amazing mercy towards us, wants us to have as much information as possible as we battle the world, the flesh and the Devil. We are not ignorant of the Enemy's devices, and knowing Scripture prepares us for battle. So using Paul's clues, let's take a ride through the Bible and see about this son of perdition. "While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled." John 17:12 (KJV) No surprise that our search leads us back to John, Paul and John are tag-team prophecy warriors who back each other up, and here we seeing Jesus talking about the son of perdition. It is the same son of perdition that Paul referenced, none other than Judas Iscariot, the Betrayer. But there's more.... "Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon." John 13:26 (KJV) Here we have Judas in the act of betrayal, and it is a stunning example of why we only use the King James Bible. Jesus is talking about handing a "sop" to someone, and then dipping it in a dish. Anyone who has ever spent time with Italian people who can cook know exactly what a sop is. My friend Andy's mom used to make what Italians call "gravy", or spaghetti sauce, and it would simmer on the stove for hours. When it was close to done, we would take a fresh piece of Italian bread and dip it in the pot, and we would "sop it up". Delicious! Now do you see what a sop is? It is a piece of bread for dipping in sauce or olive oil. The NIV renders the sop of John 13:26 as "bread", and in doing so, throws one of the biggest prophecy clues right out the window. Yes, a sop is a piece of bread - BUT - it is much more than that. Bread is just bread , but a sop is a clue. S = Son | O = Of | P = Perdition. Bam! After 23 years of knowing this and teaching this to people it still sends chills down my spine. God is so good. Now do you see why we say God has preserved His word in the KJV? But there's more, we are not done yet. "That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place." Acts 1:25 (KJV) When Judas killed himself after the world's greatest betrayal, he didn't simply go to Hell, not at all. He went to his own, very special holding area that we see mentioned in Acts 1:25. One reason for this special place is because God is not done with him just yet. In the Time of Jacob's Trouble, Judas is going to come back as the Antichrist. Why? Because Paul already told you he would in 2 Thessalonians, remember? "and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;". In fact, lots of people make a reappearance. Moses and Elijah come back as the Two Witnesses, Judas comes back as the Antichrist, and of course, Jesus comes back as Himself. Yay! Now we are right back where we started, having compared Scripture with Scripture, and have let the Bible tell us who the identity of Antichrist is. Judas Iscariot. Do we need to know his modern-day name in 2015? No, not at all. Christians are not told to look for the Antichrist, knowing his name today wouldn't do us much good anyway. Soon, the Church will be raptured out of here and the world we leave behind will be given the modern-day name of Antichrist, yes, but they will not have the understanding of prophecy that you and I have. The Bible declares that unsaved, non-born again people cannot receive God's word: "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV) Yes, people in the Tribulation will have the Antichrist's 21st Century name - BUT - they will not have his connection to Judas Iscariot, and because of that will worship him as the Messiah. Ugh, what a stinking mess that will be. Aren't you glad you are going to miss all that because you are saved, born again, Blood washed and headed to Heaven? I sure am! "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 (KJV)

Witches, Wizards, and the Word of God "Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts." (Rev. 9:21) "And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived." (Rev. 18:23) The above scripture comes from the book of Revelation, the final book of God's word, which deals with the end-time. One might expect murder, fornication, and theft to be widespread sins in the last days because we see a continual increase of these sins with every passing year. But notice that a fourth sin is mentioned as well: sorcery. According to God's word, we can expect to see an increase in sorcery as the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ draws near. According to Webster, the word "sorcery" means "magic; enchantment; witchcraft; divination by the assistance or the supposed assistance of evil spirits, or the power of commanding evil spirits." One does not have to look very far to see that God's word is being fulfilled before our very eyes. Along with numerous other Biblical signs that our Lord's return is near, we are also witnessing a tremendous increase in occultism. Much of this is obviously due to the way many books, movies, and television programs are glamorizing such evil practices as witchcraft and wizardry. God's word clearly condemns all such practices, yet millions of people, especially young people, are being led to believe that it is possible to be a good witch or a good wizard. Nothing could be further from the truth. Satan is playing a very nasty trick on our children. Books such as the Harry Potter series are presenting two kinds of witches and wizards: evil ones and good ones. The books and movies offer a "built-in" contrast so that no one looks elsewhere for a contrast. That is, the "good" witches look very good compared to the "evil" witches. The psychological effect is that the mind of the reader or viewer becomes satisfied with the "fair balance" and sees no reason to look outside the movie or book for more accurate information. Consequently, millions of people will read a Harry Potter book and never read the Bible to see what God says about witches and wizards. For example, after watching the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, one young girl said, "Yes, there is witchcraft, but it is mostly goodwitchcraft." Good witchcraft? Who said it was good witchcraft? God certainly didn't give anyone this impression, so it must have came from the movie or the books. Sadly, this young girl has only been given one side of the story: the Hollywood side. While expecting everyone to be open-minded and allow their children to be influenced by occultism, the promoters of this wickedness have maintained a very closed mind by never telling anyone what God's word says about witchcraft and wizardry. After reading this tract, you will know God's side. Hopefully, you will be smart enough to realize that you've been deceived by filthy rich producers and publishers. They've fed you a massive lie, and you've paid them for it. The money they received from you will help empower them to sell their lies to others in the form of more books and movies. The Bible is quite clear: there are no good witches or wizards: "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do." (Deuteronomy 18:10-14) Now, think about that, friend. Either God lied to you in the Bible, or Satan is lying to you in the books and movies. God said that Sabrina the Teenage Witch is an abomination. God said that Harry Potter and his friends are an abomination. Do you have the courage to believe God? "Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times . . . Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God." (Lev. 19:26, 31) "And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people . . . A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them." (Lev. 20:6, 27) Have you seen any good witches or good wizards in those passages? Let's try again: "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (Gal. 5:19-21) Have you seen any good witches yet? Well, let's keep trying: "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." (Exo. 22:18) Notice that God doesn't make any distinction between good witches and evil witches. Every witch, every wizard, and every sorcerer in the Bible is evil in the sight of God! Notice Acts 13:8-10: "But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, and said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?" Witches, wizards, and sorcerers are children of Satan. They may look cute and make you laugh and cry, but God said they are an abomination to Him. Furthermore, rather than seek entertainment from these evil characters, we have been commanded to separate ourselves from them and expose them for the workers of iniquity that they really are. Please note Ephesians 5:11: " And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." No fellowship! It's a sin to read their books or watch their movies. In the Bible, God's people hated witchcraft so much that they burnedbooks containing this evil (Acts 19:18-20), yet today we have people entertaining themselves with it. David said, "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me." (Psa. 101:3) Friend, don't comfort yourself with the idea that it's okay to look at witchcraft as long as you don't practice it. No wicked thing should be set before your eyes, and no wicked thought should enter your heart (Mat. 5:28; II Cor. 10:5). God is holy, and He will hold all men accountable to His holy infallible words. If you have been deceived by the devil's crowd, why not turn from this deception right now and ask God's forgiveness? Witchcraft is a great sin in the sight of God, any type of witchcraft, but no sin is too great for God's forgiveness. God sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to pay for all your sins: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) Jesus came, He died, and then He rose again for your justification. Today, Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God in Heaven waiting for you to turn to Him and trust Him as Lord and Saviour. The Bible declares that you are a sinner by birth, but you may be a saint by having a new birth: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Rom. 3:23) "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." (Psa. 51:5) "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." (John 3:7) "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." (I Pet. 1:23) God wants to forgive you for all your sins and make you a new creature in Christ! II Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Friend, the excitement of reading a book or watching a movie about witchcraft is nothing compared to the excitement and joy of having all your sins forgiven by God Almighty! There is no greater power than the power of God, so why waste your time with the lesser powers of witchcraft and wizardry? There are millions of true Christians who have left the dark world of occultism and entered the lighted path of righteousness, and you can be next. God's word says in Romans 10:9-10, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Friend, what has the major film producers and book publishers done to save your soul from a burning Hell? They've done nothing but bring you closer to Hell! If you died and went to Hell today, the occult producers and publishers wouldn't shed a tear for you. They would go right on damning more people just like you. However, if you turn to Jesus Christ today and trust Him as your Saviour, the angels of Heaven will rejoice! "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth." (Luke 15:10) Who will be your Lord? Will it be Jesus Christ or Satan? Why not bow your head right now and ask God's forgiveness for all your sins? You have His promise of forgiveness, so why not do it? Become a child of God today and begin living for God. After all, tomorrow may be too late. "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." (Acts 26:18)

While the high temperatures, dust and haze are to remain through Shabbat, they are predicted to largely dissipate by the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah, which starts Sunday night. All of the particulates in the skies have led to a very high level of air pollution that has seen many Israelis suffer from breathing problems. In the Jezreel Valley, Modi'in and Beit Shemesh, the particulate concentration levels reached an incredible 1,500 micrometers, while in Jerusalem, Eilat and the western Galilee, those values were at 1,300 micrometers. Readings in Haifa and the coastal region around Tel Aviv were also above the air pollution alert level. The dust and sand in the air has been accompanied by a suffocating heat that has yet to relent on Friday. The town of Katzrin in the Golan Heights is predicted to reach a high of 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit), while Tzfat (Safed) is to reach 39 C (102 F), Eilat in the south is to hit a whopping 43 C (109 F), Jerusalem 35 C (95 F), and 32 C (89 F) in both Tel Aviv and Haifa. Domestic flights to Eilat by the local airlines Arkia and Israir have been canceled for the last two days due to the dust storm, but on Friday flights will resume to Ovda airport in the Negev, and from there passengers will be transported by shuttles to Eilat. Ushering in Rosh Hashanah on Sunday evening the temperatures are expected to fall, and on Monday during the first day of the holiday they are to drop even further and return to near normal degrees for the season. Local rain in the eastern part of Israel is anticipated on Monday afternoon, possibly indicating a cleaning of the dusty air. Dr. Levana Cordova-Bijoner, director of the national monitoring branch of the Environment Ministry, told Walla! that either strong eastern winds or rain would have cleared some of the dust out of the air, but the weak winds Israel has been experiencing have not helped. "Currently we are still seeing high concentrations of particles in the air, meaning there's a danger to the health of the public," said Cordova-Bijoner. "It will settle gradually because the winds are very weak. The expectation is that during the weekend, on Saturday night, things will improve." "We see there are many more visits to the emergency rooms and to doctors due to shortness of breath among patients in danger, those with heart disease, the elderly, children and pregnant women. Therefore the Environment Ministry has issued a warning to stay indoors, and for the healthy population to avoid intense sports. And if so, what does that mean for our future? As we approach the final months of 2015, it seems like more people are talking about apocalyptic scenarios than ever before. The mainstream media is doing articles on “end of the world fears“, and it is being reported that 41 percent of all Americans believe that “we are living in what the Bible calls the last days.” For those that believe, the signs are everywhere – geopolitical instability, moral decay, steadily increasing numbers of natural disasters and a global financial system that could fall apart at any moment. Others mock the idea that we could be living in “the last days”, and many of them point to the amazing technological progress that humanity is making and the unprecedented prosperity that we have been enjoying in recent times. If things are actually “getting better”, they argue, then how could we possibly be living in the end times described in the Bible? And of course atheists are convinced that God doesn’t exist at all, and that all of this apocalyptic talk is just a bunch of religious nonsense. So what is the truth? This is a very controversial area of discussion, and I certainly recognize that there are a wide variety of opinions on this. I am going to share with you what I think, and you can take it for what you think that it is worth. Personally, I always like to start with certain preconditions that had to have been met before the last days as described in the Bible could begin. In particular, the rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948 was an extremely significant event. The events described in the book of Revelation and elsewhere in the Bible regarding the last days assume that the nation of Israel exists and that it controls the city of Jerusalem. Well, when the book of Revelation was written the nation of Israel had already ceased to exist. In 70 AD, the Romans absolutely flattened the city of Jerusalem and dispersed the Jewish people. For almost two thousand years, the land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem were controlled by foreign powers. But then that all changed in 1948. Never before in human history had a nation that had been wiped off the face of the map for nearly two thousand years come back into existence. But in 1948 it happened just like the Bible said that it would. And then in 1967 the Jewish people recaptured the city of Jerusalem just like the Bible said that they would. But that does not necessarily mean that we are in “the last days”. Even though certain preconditions have been met, the return of Jesus Christ could still potentially be a way off. In Matthew chapter 24, Jesus describes some other things that we should look for just prior to His return… 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Certainly so much of that is now coming to pass, and on my website I regularly write about the increase in natural disasters that we have already seen in recent years and about the great natural disasters that are coming. But in this article I want to focus on the phrase “iniquity shall abound”. For decades, the United States and much of the rest of the world has been in moral decline. For this country in particular, I would refer you to an article that I did entitled “100 Facts About The Moral Collapse Of America That Are Almost Too Crazy To Believe“. Our nation has become a cesspool of wickedness, filth and corruption, and it is getting worse with each passing day. It has been said that if God does not judge the United States that He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. Prominent Christian ministers all over America believe that we stand right at the precipice of major judgment, and this includes Billy Graham’s own son… Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, says the “defining moment” for America and humanity has arrived. “As a nation we have arrogantly turned our back on God, and I believe God’s judgment will come against our country,” Graham says. I agree with Franklin Graham. In fact, I believe that America is being shown exactly why judgment is coming. For example, I believe that all of these undercover Planned Parenthood videos have come out at this specific time so that the entire nation can be confronted with our nightmarish crimes against humanity. Virtually everyone in America now knows that Planned Parenthood viciously murders babies, harvests their body parts, and sells them off to the highest bidder. And the U.S. government is funding this. So where is the outcry? Where is the national repentance? There should be Nuremburg-style trials for what is going on, and yet the silence is deafening! The sad truth is that we can’t even get Planned Parenthood defunded, and some of our politicians actually intend to go after the organization that made the undercover videos exposing these practices. Today, most churches and most Christians don’t even want to utter the word “abortion” because it might “offend” someone. Plus, many Christians are so busy ripping each other to pieces that they don’t even have time to address the things that really matter. For decades, God has been pleading with America to repent, but there has been no repentance. So now God is going to have to use judgment to try to wake us up.
