Chapter 8
HELL AN Allegory or metaphor?
Matthew 13:10-11
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Laughing and mocking the man in the red suit, long tail and horns, he is a joke he doesn’t exist the devil, slew foot deceiver liar and father of lies, satan has deceived millions yes millions to believe lies and not have any fear of the power of darkness. Not believing in the evil satan projects is not only dangerous but will send one to hell.
Jesus used parables to explain various TRUTHS in our lives and the problems we encounter in an effort to have one saved and avoid hell.
People have questioned the parable in Luke 16:19-31 is this indeed an allegory or metaphor Lets understand this is a story an account of hell and the two people involved in this The narrative is true, many of Jesus parables are called parables Luke 8:14,Luke 12:16,Luke 13:6,Luke 14:7 are all referred to as a parable.
The story of the rich man and Lazarus uses the actual name of a person. Such specificity would set it apart from ordinary parables, in which the characters are not named. This particular story does not fit the definition of a parable, which is a presentation of a spiritual truth using an earthly illustration. The story of the rich man and Lazarus presents spiritual truth directly, with no earthly metaphor. The setting for most of the story is the afterlife, as opposed to the parables, which unfold in earthly contexts.(Please note that Dante’s Inferno is fiction yet he seems to explore the various aspects and rooms of hell, this might well indicate HIS emotional and spiritual state of mind when he penned this disturbing work)
Exploring the deeper meaning and to give the reader understanding, the question stands:
Can people in hell and people in heaven see each other and speak to each other?
Yes, as the Lord explained and called the ‘poor man’ by name Lazarus and later in that same scripture there was a conversation by and between the ‘rich man and Abraham, as I stated earlier the ‘poor widow’ the lost coin the sower are NOT given names although the parables are equally important the importance of using the names in Luke 16 is to make the readers aware these are REAL PEOPLE Jesus is speaking of and their end was their OWN CHOSEN DESTINATION.
Jesus words explicitly directed one to this stark and real TRUTH:, Jesus plainly used this story to teach that after death the unrighteous are eternally separated from God, that they remember their rejection of the Gospel, that they are in torment, and that their condition cannot be remedied. In Luke 16:19-31, Jesus clearly taught the existence of heaven and hell as well as the deceitfulness of riches to those who trust in material wealth.
The imagery of Dante and his descent into hell can be explained in this manner-the end of those who have been evil doers in this life and have chosen to descend into the degradation of hell and all it has to offer, the many or few sins that directs one to hell are often times dismissed as an imagination. Dante’s descent into hell could be explained and perhaps should be that weakness will lead one to sin, Dante is lost and going through the labyrinth of hell to find rest from the torment of sin. He is desperately seeking his way to God.
Hell basically a microcosm of society. Here, you have all sects of humanity – nonprofessionals, clergy, lovers, wagers of war, politicians, scholars, you name it. And they’ve all got their little sections of Hell. Except that, all their little flaws are visible to everyone. This is essentially the only difference between the real world and Hell: people become their sins and suffer by them.
Having several opinions of hell and various arguments against its existence the reality that it DOES exist and it is prepared for the devil and his demons Matthew 25:41.To deny its existence is a serious matter and you do so to your peril.
Points To Ponder:
#1 IF hell is an allegory or metaphor WHY are people afraid to go there?
#2 Does not believing in hell calling it a myth or scare tactic, cancel out its existence?
#3 Why do you insist in entertaining ideas and photos of hell ?
#4 Where will you spend eternity in the ‘myth’ of hell or the joys of your sins?
Father

In Jesus Name A-men
2 Peter 3:9 King James Version (KJV)9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. YES this means YOU!!
