Can't keep a relationship? This can be caused by demons that must be cast out! Everyone has demons, including Christians! Luke 10: 19. Ezekiel 8. Do you owe tithes to the church? No! The elect are fooled. Mark 13: 22. Many Christians are fooled into believing that they owe tithes. They are told tithes are 10% of their income (money) and they owe it to the church. What were tithes according to the Bible? Tithes were not money. Tithe was a food celebration to thank God for what He gave them. Deuteronomy 14:22. People bought food with their money so they could eat and thank God after they ate it. Tithes are not required in The New Testament after Jesus Christ came. Did Jesus ever ask for Tithes? No! So, Ministers are not to ask for tithes. In the end times, Christians (the elect) will be fooled into giving money to churches and ministries. Some of these ministers will pretend to show signs and wonders especially in big stadiums, or on television. The Bible says not to collect wages (money). Be careful! Some pastors call wages "tithes.” II Corinthians 11: 7 - 8. They use Malachi 3: 8 - 10 to fool the elect. Can Christians have demons? Yes! A woman, who worshiped God, had a spirit of infirmity. If you have an incurable illness or one that keeps coming back such as colds, treat it as a demon. Luke 13: 10 - 13. What did Jesus Christ show the Church about casting out demons? Believers must cast out demons. Jesus Christ cast out demons wherever He went and so should Believers. Mark 16: 17. Cursed objects, occult practices, and sin open doors to demons and cause hauntings. We are not to communicate with the dead. Deut. 18: 9 - 12. Deut. 7: 26. Who can expel demons from a haunted house and people? Believers can. If you believe in Jesus Christ and walk in His ways according to The Bible, you can expel demons. Mark 16: 17. Why doesn't God want you to celebrate your birthday? Birthday celebrations come from Babylonian pagan rituals. Blowing out candles and making a wish is witchcraft. Jeremiah 10: 2. Is it all right to read horoscopes in the newspaper or consult with Stargazers or Tarot card, Astrology and Palm Readers? No! That's fortune telling. God will direct our paths. Proverbs 3: 6. Pray to him in Jesus Christ name for guidance. Isaiah 47: 12 - 14, 2 Kings 21: 6. Can we pray to saints, Mary or Jesus? No! The Bible says to pray to The Father in Jesus Christ Name. John 16: 23. 1 Timothy 2: 5. What does God think about gambling? Examples of gambling are lottery, bingo, raffle tickets and casino. Nowhere in the Bible is gambling or "chance" used for entertainment or presented as an acceptable practice. Scripture encourages us to stay away from attempts to "get rich quick.” Prov. 13: 13, 23: 5, Eccles. 5: 10. Gambling most definitely is focused on the love of money. 1 Tim 6: 10, Heb. 13: 5. Proverbs 13: 11 tells us how to make money. Is there any harm in watching cartoons, going to places to see cartoon characters, giving children toys or Harry Potter books? Yes! In the Bible, which is the Word Of God, there are several scriptures that tell us to stay away from fiction, fantasy, fables, molded images, such as dolls and stuffed animals. Some cartoon characters use magic, which may influence children to use it. Children might not understand that magic is dangerous and opens doors for demons. 1 Timothy 1:4, 2 Timothy 4: 2-4, Deuteronomy 18: 9 - 12 and Jeremiah 10: 14. What is fornication? Sex without being married. Fornication is a sin. I Corinthians 6: 9 - 10. Should you celebrate Halloween, Christmas or Easter? All these holidays are pagan. Pagans worship other gods. We are not to have any other gods before God, the one who has a son Jesus Christ. The Bible does not teach us to celebrate Halloween, Christmas or Easter. Research the history of each holiday. Jeremiah 10, Exodus 20: 3 and Rom. 12: 2. Stop! Cursing, smoking, drinking alcohol, abortion, divorcing, watching PG-13, R & X rated movies and looking at pornography. IS HEAVEN REAL?

She says when she saw her body, it was purple and her pupils were dilated Anita Moorjani says she had end-stage cancer when she claims she left her body Benjamin Breedlove suffered heart failure, and he says he left his body "Anderson Cooper Special Report: To Heaven and Back" airs Sunday, December 1st at 7 pm and 10 pm E.T. (CNN) -- One woman is under water and without oxygen for 30 minutes after a kayaking accident. Another has end-stage cancer. A teenage boy suffers heart failure. On the brink of death, all three tell stories of leaving their bodies, going to heaven and coming back. For each, their story raises questions: Is heaven real? What does it feel like to die? And for each, their answer -- airing Sunday on CNN's "To Heaven and Back" -- will be grounded in their experience. These are their accounts: Former skeptic recounts time in heaven MARY NEAL It was January 14, 1999, and Mary Neal, an orthopedic surgeon from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, had surprised her husband, Bill, with a week-long kayaking trip with friends in the Los Rios Region of Chile. It had been a good trip. The couple spent the week enjoying people, the food and the culture. But that morning, Neal's husband wasn't feeling well. So he stayed behind while she joined their friends on a section of river well known for its waterfalls and drops of 10 to 15 feet. "When I first put (afloat) on the river, I didn't feel quite right," she said. Neal crested at the top of the first big drop in the river. She looked down into what she later described as a bottomless pit. Then she went over. The front end of her boat got pinned in the rocks, submerging her in the water. The force of the current pinned her to the front deck of the boat. Her friends began searching for her, knowing that the clock was ticking. "Time is very important," Neal said. It determines "whether you are going to rescue somebody or recover the body." Precious minutes ticked by. "I knew I was going to die," she said. Neal had always worked -- worked to become a doctor, worked at her marriage of 26 years, worked at raising her four children. But she admits she made very little time for her spiritual life. "I did take my children to Sunday school, and I tried to incorporate spirituality into my daily life -- and then I would run out of time," she said. Pinned in the boat and out of air, Neal started to give up. "I really gave it all over to God, and I really said, 'Your will be done,'" she said. At the same time, she remembers her brain doing a self-assessment exam. "I could still feel the boat. I could feel the current," she said. On the surface above her, her friends were scrambling to try to free her. It seemed hopeless, her friends would later say. Then something shifted, and another rock was exposed. It was just enough for the group to shift the boat to free Neal, who was sucked out of the bottom of the boat by the current -- with her legs bending back over her knees. "I could feel the bones breaking. I could feel the ligaments and the tissue tearing. I felt my spirit peeling away from my body, sort of like peeling two pieces of tape," Neal recounted. As one of her friends grabbed her wrist to try to pull her out of the water, Neal realized she was outside her body watching the rescue effort. "I could see them pull my body to the shore. I could see them start CPR," she said. "I had no pulse, and I wasn't breathing. One fellow was yelling at me to come back. ...My body was purple and bloated. My pupils were fixed and dilated." She watched people work on her, but she felt none of it. "When I saw my body, I actually thought 'Well, I guess I am dead. I guess I really did die,'" Neal said. As she watched, she said she was met by "these people or these spirits" who started to guide her toward a brightly lit path toward what appeared to be a domed structure. "It was exploding, not just with light and brilliance and color but with love," she said. There, she spoke with the spirits. They told her it was not her time to die, that she still had a job to finish, Neal said. One of the reasons she had to return, they told her, was because of her son Willie. "I knew very specifically with regard to my son that he was going to die," Neal said. "We talked about how he already fulfilled his job. He'd really already done what he was meant to do." Then she was back in her body, breathing again. Those involved estimate that Neal had been without oxygen for 30 minutes. Her recovery would take months, but she no longer took time for granted. It is a journey she chronicled in her book "To Heaven and Back." Each day took on a new meaning for Neal, who awoke every day wondering if it would be her son Willie's last day. On June 21, 2009, 19-year-old Willie went out to roller ski with a friend. He and the friend stopped on a road, near a ridge. "Wouldn't this be an incredible last sight, if we could never see anything else," Willie told the friend. Less than a minute later, he was hit by a car and killed. "I am my own greatest skeptic," Neal said. "I am quite sure that I would not believe my life story had I not personally lived each and every day of it. I absolutely believe that every person can look at their life and see the hand of God." Most miracles, Neal says, are quiet. It's that person who calls you when you most need it, she said. It's that person who directs you to someone who changes your life. Anita Moorjani's near-death experience ANITA MOORJANI On February 2, 2006, Anita Moorjani was in a coma. With her body riddled with cancer, doctors told her husband that her organs were shutting down and she likely would not make it beyond the next 36 hours. "I was just so tired of fighting to try to stay alive," she said. Moorjani knew what cancer could do to the body. She had seen it ravage her best friend, Soni, eventually killing her. So when she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2002, she was afraid. In a way, Moorjani had always been afraid -- of living and of dying. Growing up in Hong Kong, she said she was bullied because of her Indian heritage. She went so far as to lighten her hair and bleach her skin to fit in at the British school she attended. "I felt I had to apologize for being me," she said. Then she was diagnosed with cancer, one of her biggest fears after seeing it take the life of Soni. Slowly the cancer took its toll on Moorjani. By February 1, 2006, sick and weak, she thought to herself: "Even death can't be worse than this." So she said she let go. The next morning, she didn't wake up. Her husband rushed her to the hospital, where the family was told the bad news: Moorjani was in a coma and not expected to wake again. Moorjani can't put her finger on the exact minute that she says she left her body. She saw her husband standing next to her hospital bed. "He was very distraught. He was there by my bedside. I could feel he was willing me to come back," she said. Moorjani could also hear conversations that took place between her husband and her doctors, far from her hospital room. She heard them, she said, discuss her pending death. "Your wife's heart might be beating, but she's not really in there," a doctor told her husband -- a conversation, she said, he would later confirm to her after she asked. Hovering between life and death, she said she was surrounded by people who loved her. Her best friend, Soni, was there. So was her father, who had died years earlier from heart failure. There were others there, too. She didn't recognize most of them. But she knew they loved her and cared for her. It was a feeling unlike anything she says she had ever felt. "At first, I did not want to come back. Why would I want to come back into this sick body?" she said. Then, hovering between life and death, she had a moment of clarity -- a true understanding. "All the years of beating myself up, of feeling flawed, had manifested itself and turned into cancer," she said. About 30 hours after being hospitalized, Moorjani awoke. Within days, she said, her organs began to function again. Within weeks, doctors could find no evidence of cancer in her body, she said. "I'm not scared of death. Whenever that day comes, I'll feel I will have accomplished what I came here to do," Moorjani said. "I believe that all of us have only come here to realize who we are, and to be true to who we are." She recounted her experience in her book, "Dying to Be Me: My Journey From Cancer, To Near Death, To True Healing." Today, she remains cancer free. Ben Breedlove's near-death experience BENJAMIN BREEDLOVE It was December 18, 2011, a week before Christmas, and 18-year-old Benjamin Breedlove went to his bedroom. He had spent the day with his family. They had held church at their home in Austin, Texas, because the teenager was ill. Since childhood he had battled hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a heart condition that posed a constant risk of sudden death. In his short life, Benjamin -- Ben as he was known to family and friends -- had suffered three heart attacks, including an episode the night before. Two weeks earlier he suffered heart failure while he was in school. He collapsed on the campus commons, according to students and the school nurse. For three minutes, his heart stopped. Now, after two heart attacks in as many weeks, he and his family were holding church inside their house. The family read from the Bible and prayed for Ben. "After we were finished, Ben prayed for us. He prayed that we wouldn't be sad or scared," his sister, Ally Breedlove said. Then, on that day a week before Christmas, the teenager disappeared into his room where he made a two-part video titled "This Is My Life" that he posted to YouTube unbeknownst to his parents. He used index cards to recount his collapse at the high school. "I heard them say 'he's not breathing. His heart stopped, and he has no pulse,'" the cards read. He said he saw a white light. The teenager said he felt at peace. "I didn't want to leave that place," he said in his video. Then Ben said he woke up on the floor of the school. A week later, on Christmas Day, Ben opened presents with his family. They played a game of Monopoly. Then he went outside to watch his younger brother bounce on a trampoline. "I looked outside my kitchen window, and I took a mental snapshot of Ben smiling," his mother, Deanne Breedlove, said. "That was the last time I saw Ben smile." Minutes later, he suffered heart failure. As Ben lay dying, the video he made had gone viral with hundreds of thousands watching it. It's closing lines: "Do you believe in angels or God? I do." Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care In hopes that Jesus would not come there. The children were dressing to crawl into bed. Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head. And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap. When out of the East there arose such a clatter. I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash! When what to my wondering eyes should appear But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here. With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY! The light of His face made me cover my head It was Jesus! returning just like He had said. And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself. In the Book of Life which He held in His hand Was written the name of every saved man. He spoke not a word as He searched for my name; When He said "it's not here" my head hung in shame. The people whose names had been written with love He gathered to take to His Father above. With those who were ready He rose without a sound. While all the rest were left standing around. I fell to my knees, but it was too late; I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate. I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight; Oh, if only I had been ready tonight. In the words of this poem the meaning is clear; The coming of Jesus is drawing near. There's only one life and when comes the last call We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

THREE TREES

The Three Trees Once upon a mountain top, three little trees stood and dreamed of what they wanted to become when they grew up. The first little tree looked up at the stars and said: " I want to hold treasure. I want to be covered with gold and filled with precious stones. I'll be the most beautiful treasure chest in the world!" The second little tree looked out at the small stream trickling by on it's way to the ocean. " I want to be traveling mighty waters and carrying powerful kings. I'll be the strongest ship in the world! The third little tree looked down into the valley below where busy men and women worked in a busy town. I don't want to leave the mountain top at all. I want to grow so tall that when people stop to look at me they'll raise their eyes to heaven and think of God. I will be the tallest tree in the world. Years, passed. The rain came, the sun shone and the little trees grew tall. One day three wood cutters climbed the mountain. The first wood cutter looked at the first tree and said, "This tree is beautiful. It is perfect for me." With a swoop of his shining ax, the first tree fell. "Now I shall make a beautiful chest, I shall hold wonderful treasure!" the first tree said. The second wood cutter looked at the second tree and said, "This tree is strong. It's perfect for me." With a swoop of his shining ax, the second tree fell. "Now I shall sail mighty waters!" thought the second tree. " I shall be a strong ship for mighty kings!" The third tree felt her heart sink when the last wood cutter looked her way. She stood straight and tall and pointed bravely to heaven. But the wood cutter never even looked up. "Any kind of tree will do for me." He muttered. With a swoop of his shining ax, the third tree fell. The first tree rejoiced when the wood cutter brought her to a carpenter's shop. But the carpenter fashioned the tree into a feed box for animals. The once beautiful tree was not covered with gold, or treasure. She was coated with saw dust and filled with hay for hungry farm animals. The second tree smiled when the wood cutter took her to a shipyard, but no mighty sailing ship was made that day. Instead the once strong tree was hammered and awed into a simple fishing boat. She was too small and too weak to sail to an ocean, or even a river, instead she was taken to a little lake. The third tree was confused when the wood cutter cut her into strong beams and left her in a lumberyard. "What happened?" The once tall tree wondered. " All I ever wanted was to stay on the mountain top and point to God..." Many days and nights passed. The three trees nearly forgot their dreams. But one night, golden starlight poured over the first tree as a young woman placed her newborn baby in the feed box. "I wish I could make a cradle for him." Her husband whispered. The mother squeezed his hand and smiled as the starlight shone on the smooth and sturdy wood. " This manger is beautiful." She said. And suddenly the first tree knew he was holding the greatest treasure in the world. One evening a tired traveler and his friends crowded into the old fishing boat. The traveler fell asleep as the second tree quietly sailed out into the lake. Soon a thundering and a thrashing storm arose. The little tree shuddered. She new she did not have the strength to carry so many passengers safely through the wind and the rain. The tired man awoke. He stood up, stretched out his hand, and said, "Peace." The storm stopped as quickly as it had begun. And suddenly the second tree knew he was carrying the king of heaven and earth. One Friday morning, the third tree was startled when her beams were yanked from the forgotten wood pile. She flinched as she was carried through an angry jeering crowd. She shuddered when soldiers nailed a man's hand to her. She felt ugly and harsh and cruel. But on Sunday morning, when the sun rose and the earth trembled with joy beneath her, the third tree knew that God's love had changed everything. It had made the third tree strong. And every time people thought of the third tree, they would think of God. That was better than being the tallest tree in the world. The next time you feel down because you didn't get what you wanted, sit tight and be happy because God is thinking of something better to give you.

CHRISTMAS VISTOR

The Legend of the Showoff Who Prepares For the Visit of Jesus on Christmas Day By Donald Sybertz and Joseph Healey Once upon a time when Jesus was still in this world, there was an African woman named Kwiyolecha which means "The Showoff" or "a person who wants to make a big impression" in Sukuma, an important language in Tanzania. After hearing him speak as no person has ever spoken, Kwiyolecha met Jesus in Shinyanga town three days before Christmas and asked him, "Lord, when will you come to visit us? I see you visiting other people, but you haven’t come to our home yet." Jesus replied, "Dear woman, just wait three days and I promise to pay you a visit on Christmas Day." When Kwiyolecha heard this she was delighted and immediately went home to prepare for the coming of the Lord Jesus on Christmas Day. The Tanzanian woman cleaned her house very well and decorated inside and outside with many ornaments of the Christmas season. She hung colorful African cloths everywhere. She and her servants prepared special food and drink especially the local beer. They slaughtered the bull that they had been fattening. Having prepared everything to the best of her ability, Kwiyolecha dressed in her finest African dress. Then she sat down and waited for the Lord’s arrival with joyful expectation. Early on Christmas morning a bent old man with sores on his legs appeared at Kwiyolecha’s house. Upset at this intrusion, she told the man sharply: "What have you come here for? I’m waiting for an important visitor and I don’t want you messing up my house. Go away immediately." Without saying a word the bent old man left. Some time later a very old lady appeared dressed in rags and supporting herself with a stick. Exasperated and angry, Kwiyolecha said to herself, "Why are all these things happening to me?" She rebuffed the old woman and told her, "Get out of here." The very old lady did as she was told. Finally at midday a badly crippled Tanzanian boy appeared. He raised a cloud of dust as he dragged along his twisted legs. Kwiyolecha was very annoyed when she saw him and said, "What is this wretch doing here?" She told the boy, "Get away from here as soon as possible and don’t come back again." The boy immediately went away. Then for the rest of Christmas Day Kwiyolecha waited patiently for the Lord Jesus, but he never came. The next day, which happened to be the 26th of December, Kwiyolecha met Jesus in Shinyanga town and said: "Lord, why didn’t you come to our home yesterday? I waited and waited for you. Why didn’t you keep your promise?" The Lord replied, "Kwiyolecha, I came to visit you three times, but you did not receive me. When you refused to welcome the bent old man, the very old lady dressed in rags and the badly crippled boy who came to your home, you refused to welcome me." At first Kwiyolecha was dumbfounded. Then she remembered Jesus" words in the Gospel of St. Matthew: "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." She began to realize for the very first time what it means to be a follower of Christ and the real meaning of Christian hospitality. So Kwiyolecha looked for another opportunity to celebrate Christmas by welcoming Jesus in a bent old man, a very old lady dressed in rags and a badly crippled boy who might come to her home.

But there are some tips and info you'll want to keep in mind before you go comet hunting. Comet ISON is on track for an extremely close shave of the sun when it flies by Earth's closest star on Nov. 28. The comet will approach within a mere 730,000 miles of the sun during the encounter, leading many scientists and amateur astronomers to wonder if the comet will survive its Thanksgiving Day rendezvous with the sun. In December, Comet ISON is expected to reach its greatest brilliance. It is during that month that it will be most interesting to both amateurs and the public. [See more amazing photos of Comet ISON in the night sky] Although forecasting the brightness of a comet months before its arrival at perihelion has always been hazardous, in the case of ISON until recently its brightening trend has been very difficult to decipher. Up until Nov. 13, the comet's increase in brightness was progressing at a rather sluggish pace, but then suddenly a noticeable outburst began taking place. Comet ISON's brilliant flare-up From Nov. 13 to 21, Comet ISON brightened by 3.5 magnitudes on the scale used to determine the brightness of objects in space. That's a 25-fold increase in brightness to the observer! Between Nov. 19 and 21 alone, ISON more than doubled in brightness. Along with this surge in activity, soaring rates of dust and gas were being released from its nucleus. Amateur and professional astronomers around the world have been tracking Comet ISON in telescopes, with NASA spacecraft and other observatories tracking the object from space. In the wake of this recent activity, experienced comet watchers are growing more confident that the comet has a chance to be ranked among one of the brightest in the last half century. "All this I regard as very promising for something quite significant to be seen from ISON come the early days of December," comet expert John Bortle said. [How to Photograph Comet ISON (Step-by-Step Gallery)] In fact, at its very brightest Comet ISON may even become briefly visible in broad daylight! But just how impressive the comet will look after it sweeps around the sun will be strongly dependant on where you are located. From rural areas, where the night skies are still reasonably dark, the comet could evolve into a celestial showpiece — perhaps even a showstopper. Conversely, from major metropolitan areas under urban, light polluted skies, viewers will be largely disappointed. Skirting above a solar furnace Comet ISON's closest approach to the sun will mark the perihelion of its orbit around the star. That will occur on Nov. 28 at 1:38 p.m. EST. During the encounter, the comet will rapidly approach the sun, and its brightness will likely increase sharply. [Comet ISON's Stargazing Show: 8 Essential Facts] It is very difficult to say precisely just how bright Comet ISON will ultimately become when it passes nearly 730,000 miles of the 11,000-degrees Fahrenheit surface of the sun, while being subjected to enormous tidal and gravitation forces that could cause the comet to fracture into pieces. If this happens, it could release a tremendous amount of dust causing the comet to become many times brighter and unfurl a tremendously bright tail. As the comet loops around the sun, and begins its return journey out of the inner solar system, it "may" be dimly visible in daylight by merely blocking out the sun with your hand. Soon after sunrise, ISON will be positioned within about 2 degrees to the right of the sun. During the rest of the day, the comet will appear to get closer to the sun, while rapidly moving in a clockwise fashion below and then to the sun's left. The comet will appear closest to the sun just before 2 p.m. EST when it will appear less than half the apparent width of the sun from the sun's limb, or edge. The comet's velocity as it whips in a hairpin turn around the sun will reach a maximum of 234.62 miles per second or 844,632 mph! Heed this warning! We strongly warn all readers that only experienced observers should attempt observation of Comet ISON as it whips around the sun. Viewing the comet itself poses no danger, but potential danger lies in staring directly at the sun whose infrared rays can burn the retina of the eye without causing any pain. John Bortle agrees: "When it's within just a few hours of its perihelion ISON will be so close to the solar limb it will be an impossible task to spot for virtually all observers." [How to See Comet ISON in November Sky | Video] You can safely watch the comet whip around the sun on your computer here from the Large Angle and Spectrometric Coronagraph Experiment (LASCO) on the SOHO spacecraft. ISON should be within LASCO’s field of view from 7 a.m. EST (1200 GMT) on Nov. 27 to 7 p.m. EST on Nov. 29. Soon after perihelion, perhaps on the mornings of Nov. 29 and/or 30, the ghostly dust tail might be visible low in the eastern sky, but the comet's brilliant head will still be embedded deep in the morning twilight. Below is a look at Comet ISON's expected behavior in the coming weeks, given in 10-day intervals. December 1-10: The changes in the comet wrought by perihelion passage become evident. Possibly the comet is brighter than expected during the first few days of this period. On Dec. 1, the tail could be as much as 12 degrees long (your clenched fist held at arm’s length measures roughly 10 degrees). Because of ISON's close passage to the sun, the tail could appear very bright, while the comet's head might appear zero magnitude (as bright as the stars Vega or Capella), and perhaps brighter. Each morning the tail shoots out from the head like a narrow searchlight beam and will increase conspicuously in length as ISON backs into darker morning skies. The comet's head begins to rise before the onset of morning twilight — about 100 minutes before sunrise — on Dec. 6 and the tail length reaches to perhaps 20 degrees by Dec. 10. The comet's brightness by Dec. 10 should subside to between magnitude +3 (a star of medium brightness) and +5 (a faint star); the comet will have receded to 51.4 million miles from the sun. December 11-20:Comet ISON's altitude at the break of dawn increases from 13 degrees on Dec. 11 to 22 degrees on Dec. 15. The latter date will be the last morning in December that ISON can be viewed in a completely dark sky; the bright Moon that morning sets at 5:25 a.m. local time and twilight begins at 5:33 a.m. local time. So you will have just an eight-minute window of complete darkness. The full moon of December will occur on the following day. But within a few days, attention will shift to evening visibility as the moon will be setting about an hour later each night while the comet begins to become increasingly evident low in the northwest sky after sunset. On Dec. 20, Comet ISON sets at 6:24 p.m. local time, 14 minutes after the end of evening twilight. Meanwhile, the distance between the Earth and comet is rapidly decreasing to 42.5 million miles by Dec. 20. The comet will be in the constellation of Corona Borealis, the brightness of the head should hover somewhere between magnitude +4 (the brightness of a moderately faint star) and +6 (a very faint star at the threshold of naked-eye visibility). By this time, the ghostly tail may appear to reach 20 degrees to 30 degrees. December 21-31: With the moon completely absent from the evening sky and Comet ISON climbing noticeably higher in the north-northwest sky with each passing evening, the full splendor of the comet is revealed. But again we stress — observers must get away from the bright lights of citifies to view the comet in all its glory — seen against a dark backdrop it could be a sight not to be forgotten. On Christmas Day, Comet SON has moved far enough northward in declination to become a circumpolar object; that is, it does not rise nor set but remains above the horizon all night long. The comet's closest approach to the Earth comes the following day: At 5:42 p.m. EST, it will be 39,897,562 miles away. The total light of the coma should continue to hold somewhere between magnitude +4 and +6. As seen against a very dark sky with the unaided eye, the comet’s coma may appear half the diameter of the full moon. The gas tail should span many degrees, while the much brighter dust tail will continue to stretch toward the north for at least 20 degrees — even 40 degrees is possible. January 1-10: The rest of Comet ISON's night sky display will seem anticlimactic, for the comet shrinks and fades rapidly now as it pulls away from both the sun and the Earth, with the magnitude dropping from perhaps +6 to +8 — below the threshold of naked-eye visibility even under a dark sky. The coma is expected to be quite large and diffuse, growing more so daily. Very straight and narrow, the tail initially should be traceable some 10 degrees to 15 degrees shortening to possibly down to 5 degrees by Dec. 10. The Great Comet is now only a ghost of its former self and is best seen in binoculars.

Business groups say the laws are unnecessary barriers during an era of 24-hour online retailers, but many shoppers, workers and even retailers say they appreciate one day free of holiday shopping. "I shop all year. People need to be with their families on Thanksgiving," Debra Wall, of Pawtucket, R.I., told The Associated Press. The holiday shopping frenzy has crept deeper than ever into Thanksgiving this year. Macy's, J.C. Penney and Staples will open on Thanksgiving for the first time. Toys R Us will open at 5 p.m., and Wal-Mart, already open 24 hours in many locations, will start holiday deals at 6 p.m., two hours earlier than last year. In recent years, some retail employees and their supporters have started online petitions to protest stores that open on Thanksgiving — but shoppers keep coming. Bill Rennie, vice president of the Retailers Association of Massachusetts, said many shoppers are crossing into border states that allow Thanksgiving shopping, including Connecticut, Vermont, New York or New Hampshire, which is even more alluring because it doesn't have a sales tax. "Why not give stores in Massachusetts the option?" he told the Associated Press. The group has backed legislation, which has so far gone nowhere, to roll back the laws and allow stores to open on Thanksgiving and Christmas. That would include grocery stores, which also must stay closed on the holidays. Woe to the Massachusetts cook who forgets a crucial ingredient or messes up the turkey and is forced to find a replacement at a convenience store. Convenience stores are allowed to open, as are movie theaters, pharmacies, restaurants and some other businesses. The laws do not prohibit stores from opening at non-traditional hours Friday, and some will open at midnight or 1 a.m., when holiday deals will start. Blue laws were once widespread throughout the country and are thought to date back to Colonial times, although some of the current regulations in Maine were instituted in the 1960s. The name may be derived from an 18th-century usage of blue meaning "rigidly moral," according to the Encyclopedia Brittanica. The rules vary among the states. Retailers smaller than 5,000 square feet can operate in Maine, for example. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the main holidays affected in all three states, but in Massachusetts, blue laws also prohibit stores from opening on the mornings of Columbus and Veterans Day without state permission. Easter and New Year's Day are also sometimes included. The Great Escape By Grant Phillips “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Revelation 3:10 NIV The Lord Jesus Christ promises His bride, the Church, that He will keep us “from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world.” The word “from” in the Greek is “ek,” and it means: out of, from, by, and away from. It doesn’t say that He will keep us through it, but He will keep us from it. In John chapter fourteen Jesus tells us that He is preparing a place for us in Heaven and will come again to receive us unto Himself. In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 He tells us by the Apostle Paul how this will take place. He will come for us before the seven years of Tribulation starts. He will call for us to meet Him in the air. Those who have already died at that time will precede those who are alive when He comes for us and we will all meet Him in the air and be taken to Heaven. Revelation 4:1 is clear that when the Church age ends the Church is no longer on earth but in Heaven. Chapters two and three of Revelation speak of the Church age from the first century to the end of the Church age. Chapter four verse one begins, “After this” and ends “I will show thee things which must be hereafter.” In other words, after the Church age ends the seven years of Tribulation begins. He will show the Apostle John things that will happen after the Church is removed. The Church (the bride) is not mentioned again until chapter nineteen of the book of Revelation, at the end of the Tribulation period. Many have said that we who look forward to the Rapture simply want to escape. We are accused of wanting to throw in the towel and bail out. So let’s just call this commentary “The Great Escape.” An old song called “This World Is Not My Home” pretty much says it for those who long to see Jesus. “Oh Lord, you know, I have no friend like you. If heaven’s not my home, Oh Lord, what will I do? Angels beacon me, To heavens open door, And I can’t feel at home, In this world anymore.” Do I want to “escape?” Let me answer that with a question. If I could choose between a world of lying, murder, hate, perversion, sickness, death, grief, greed, poverty, fear, calamities, etc. or a world of no lying, no murder, only love, no perversion, no sickness, no death, no grief, no greed, no poverty, no fear, no calamities, etc., which do you think I would choose? And to top it off, instead of Satan and his cohorts constantly trying to devour me, he is out of the picture, and I get to live with and worship Jesus in all His glory. Heaven or hell? For me, that’s a no-brainer. Heaven means always with Jesus. Hell means apart from Jesus. Is it wrong to want to escape? Some think it is. Some think we, as the Church, should suffer by going through the Tribulation with all of Satan’s kids. Why? Are you nuts? What good would that do anyway? The Church is not going through the seven years of Tribulation on earth. Why? 1. These particular seven years are the remaining seven years that belong to Israel. The Church dispensation must end before the remaining seven years due Israel begins. God tells us about the 490 years due Israel in Daniel chapter nine. They are for Israel, not the Church. 483 of those years ended with the first advent of the Messiah. The remaining seven years are yet to come. These particular seven years are God’s judgment upon Israel and His drawing them to Him. They have nothing to do with the Church. 2. These particular seven years are also a time of God’s judgment upon the world. This judgment will be carried out by the Lord Jesus personally. He is not going to administer judgment upon His own bride, the Church. Why? He has already taken our judgment upon Himself. Also, the bridegroom, Jesus, is not going to beat the crap out of His bride and then say, “Okay honey, let’s go celebrate with a big wedding feast.” Think “spouse abuse” and “domestic violence.” I don’t think so. 3. The judgment that Jesus administers during this time will be a time of wrath like the world has never seen, even surpassing the flood of Noah’s day. Jesus isn’t mad at His bride, the Church. He loves His bride and will remove her from His wrath, but He isn’t too happy with Satan and the world. Some will say, “But the Church has suffered since its inception. Why shouldn’t it suffer during the Tribulation?” Because all the suffering the Church has endured since its inception has come from Satan and his followers, not from God. The suffering handed out by the Antichrist during the Tribulation won’t be toward the Church, because the Church won’t be here. God is administering justice through Satan’s puppets in the first half of the Tribulation, and then the last 3 ½ years will be direct judgment from God upon a fallen world. Satan is not in control, and neither are the Antichrist and the False Prophet of course. God is in control and His judgment will be fierce. No member of our Lord’s Church wants anyone to experience this time of misery that is coming upon the world, but it is coming. We are so thankful that our Bridegroom loves His bride and will remove us from harm’s way. We will escape His fury. We are also most grateful for those He will save during this terrible time and there will be many. Yes, many will be saved, but through much suffering and probably death. Do I believe in the “Great Escape?” You betcha, and I’m all for escaping the wrath of God. Would you like to escape? Notice these words of Christ. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20 He is speaking to the Ladicean church, the apostate church of this age that does not know Him. Oh, they claim they do, but they do not. Come to Him today and you will not be disappointed. How? “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10 Is it wrong to want to escape the Tribulation and be with Him at the Rapture? Would you rather die in a burning house or put your faith in the fireman to rescue you? I’m for the fireman. But what if I die before the Rapture? Are you a child of God? Have you come to Him through His Son Jesus? Then what’s the problem!? If I die before the Great Escape (Rapture), I get to be with Him even sooner. By the way, if that happens, I’ll see you at the Rapture. I’ll be coming with Him to pick up my new body. “and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 The world around us, which includes pseudo Christians, will continue to mock what they call our Great Escape, but for those of us who believe, just keep looking up. Those That Hate The Rapture also Reject Many Other Beautiful Prophecies The two great doctrines that hold together the prophecies of the Holy Bible are the Pre-Tribulation Rapture and the Great Tribulation of Seven Years. Deny or disregard these two truths and prophecy falls apart. The Book of Revelation must be reduced to a bunch of non-sensical symbols or else removed from the Bible. Israel becomes an unimportant problem and the antiChrist a shadow of the night. We end up with the idea that anything prophesied in Scripture is a lot of foolish talk that nobody pays much attention to. It all becomes a lot of nonsense to argue about. At the same time, keep the great hope of the Rapture in its proper place, followed by the Great Judgment of this universe, and the beautiful puzzle becomes a mosaic of Biblical perfection. Every book in the Bible fits the picture and helps paint the future with excitement. You cannot blame the devil for trying to destroy these truths because he is the ultimate loser. We owe to our generation the message of hope and the absolute assurance that this confusion against the truth is wrong. The future is as bright as the sunburst on Resurrection morning. Let’s look at six great truths which suffer death when the Rapture and the Great Tribulation are denied. (Part Two of this article will list six more). When you see what the loss of the two main doctrines of prophecy does to the rest of the Bible, you will receive a wake-up call. The Pre-Tribulation Rapture and the Seven Years of Judgment are the bedrock of our future. 1. The first heart break that is suffered is the future of Israel. The Bible is filled with prophecies that place Israel in their homeland when “Jacob’s Trouble” begins its course. This is where the stubborn will of the Jews is broken. Israel is converted at the end of the “Great Tribulation” which Jesus witnessed of in St. Matthew chapter twenty-four. Their future is ultimately tied to the fullness of judgment that the seven dark years represent. The antiChrist in the Jewish temple at the halfway mark of God’s judgment is an absolute part of the Holy Scripture. Anti-Semitism falls on its face when we preach the Pre-Tribulation Rapture and the Great Tribulation. Watch for a full article covering just this one very important point concerning Israel’s future. 2. The Book of Revelation is God’s perfect outline for end-times prophecy. The Holy Spirit spoke in eloquent terms when He stated: “Write the things… which shall be hereafter.” (Revelation 1:19 a & c) The saints of God are not called saints after Revelation four but elders around the Father’s throne. It is impossible to open the seals of chapter six of Revelation without the removal of the Bride of Christ to a heavenly triumph. The Seven Years of Tribulation is the primary message of the Book of Revelation. Every false doctrine in the prophetic sphere is duty bound to pounce on the literalness of this closing Biblical revelation. 3. Satan’s antiChrist spirit was already creating havoc in the early church and his shadow is seen throughout church history. Apostle Paul was careful to show the powers of the Holy Spirit holding his attack in check until the end. These words leave no doubt that this spirit of antiChrist is the devil and his false Christ that must appear in person: “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.” (II Thessalonians 2: 8-9) If there is one truth the devil hates, it is the exposing of this dark person that he wants to hide until he appears. 4. Nothing in our future is more exciting than the glorious saints returning with Christ at the Battle of Armageddon. This great company of His saints is clearly from the Old and New Testament. The Spirit said, “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war… And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.” (Revelation 19: 11; 14) These saints are returning from heaven to reign on earth a thousand years. When did they ascend in glorified bodies ready to come back again as His army? If someone denies the Rapture before the Great Tribulation judgment, this entire scene is impossible. The Battle of Armageddon becomes a single event where Christ returns with His Bride and His angels. 5. There are several incredible things that happen during the Seven Years of the Great Tribulation. All of them are denied if you deny the Seven Year period itself. One of the most fascinating events is the two witnesses preaching for three and one half years. “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.” (Revelation 11:3-5) The antiChrist is clearly reigning over the world as the testimony of Christ is proclaimed. These two prophets are invincible until they finish their ministry. After the Beast finally succeeds in killing them, his problems are multiplied by their visible resurrection and rapture up to heaven. What a miraculous victory the false teachers of Post-millennialism and Dominion Theology are refuting. 6. The seven-sealed book in the Father’s hand in Revelation five is one of the greatest scenes of the whole Bible. This seven-sealed scroll is recorded in this ancient passage by the Holy Ghost and preserved in the very archives of heaven. The earth was sold by Adam and Eve and could not be redeemed until the next of kin to God Himself had earned the right to do so. The scene in this explosive chapter of Revelation becomes completely destroyed without the saints in attendance and the process of judgment ready to begin. It is in God’s prophetic plan to redeem this earth and His saints must be with Him because He said we are His witnesses to the developing end times. This is only the beginning of the great truths our modern church world would deny. I will continue to name these truths in Part Two of this article. The prophecy writers and God-called ministers must take a stand against the many doctrines and enemies of the truth who are attacking the Rapture and the antiChrist’s appearance after the Rapture. She not only helped to save her brother's life but also helped set Israel's deliverance in motion. Tozer The loneliness of the Christian results from his walk with God in an ungodly world, a walk that must often take him away from the fellowship of good Christians as well as from that of the unregenerate world. His God-given instincts cry out for companionship with others of his kind, others who can understand his longings, his aspirations, his absorptions in the love of Christ; and because with his circle of friends there are few who share his inner experiences, he's forced to walk alone. The unsatisfied longings of the prophets for human understanding caused them to cry out in their complaint, and even our Lord himself suffered in the same way. The man (or woman) who has passed on into the divine Presence in actual inner experience will not find many who understand him. He finds few who care to talk about that which is the supreme object of his interest, so he is often silent and preoccupied in the midst of noisy religious shoptalk. For this he earns the reputation of being dull and over-serious, so he is avoided, and the gulf between him and society widens. He searches for the friends upon whose garments he can detect the smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of the ivory palaces, and finding few or none, he, like Mary of old, keeps these things in his heart. It is this very loneliness that throws him back upon God. His inability to find human companionship drives him to seek in God what he can find nowhere else.

WHAT YOU NEED: 1 Container with an airtight lid (grabbed out of my pantry) 4 sponges cut in half ($1.00 for a 4pk at the dollar store) 1 cup of your favorite fabric softener ($0.30 worth of fabric softener) 2 cups water (free from my tap) WHAT TO DO: Mix the water and fabric softener into a plastic container. Add the cut sponges so they can soak in the mixture. When ready to use, squeeze the excess liquid from 1 sponge and place into the dryer with your wet clothes. Run the dryer cycle as normal. Once complete place the now dry sponge back into the container of liquid for use next time. The Mystery of the Rapture You Are the Sons and Daughters of God By Dan Payne This message is speaking directly to true born-again believers of Jesus Christ the Lord. Why all the “mystery’ surrounding the Rapture of the church? One answer: The bride of Christ. Let’s begin by building up the truth of mystery of the bride of Christ. To a sister in Christ I might ask: How can you know that you are the “daughter” of God? “Because I am saved,” she responds. That is of course correct. Now, taking that thought a step further, since you are saved you are now part of the ‘body” of Christ, the true church. THE BODY OF CHRIST IS THE BRIDE OF CHRIST How do we know that the true church is the bride of Christ? First, Christ Himself taught: “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh” (Mark 10:7-8). Then Paul expounded upon the exact words spoken by Jesus: “For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church” (Ephesians 5:30-32). We are the body of Christ because we are the bride of Christ. Yes, it really is that simple, yet so overwhelming! YOU ARE THE SON OR DAUGHTER OF CHRIST Now, let’s go back to the concept that since you are saved you are part of the bride of Christ. Taking one last step: What does John 3:16 say? “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). The Father gave His “Son.” What happens when a woman marries a man whose father is still alive? She becomes the daughter-in-law of the groom’s father. She is both the bride of the son and the daughter of his father. I’m sure you see the wonderful truth now! We believers are servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. When it says “kings” and “lords” it is of course referring to earthly kings and lords. We are servants of Jesus Christ while we are on this earth and He is our God. After we are judged as individual believers at His Bema Seat, He will declare us ready for our marriage to Him! (I’m quietly weeping tears of joy and gratitude as I am writing this.) “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.’ And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints” (Revelation 19:7-8). Please understand how dear and sweet your Groom is. He is the most amazing, dedicated, loving Husband who has already laid down His life for you. He did all of this so that you could share in the love of His Father as His Father's own daughter. (I’m still overwhelmed right now.) Of course, my dear brothers, it works the same way for us. As members of the bride of Christ, we are also the sons of God! THE MYSTERY OF THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH Why all the “mystery” surrounding the Rapture of the church? The true church, Christ’s bride, is going to rule with Him over Israel and the nations during His millennial reign on earth. If a king has a bride, then it is usually he and his bride that rule from their thrones over a nation or kingdom. Although the bride is of course still subject to the king, he does not usually leave his bride outside of the castle and rule over her, the same way he rules over the subjects of his kingdom. He will give her a throne alongside of his, upon which she may share in his rule over their kingdom. “Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them... And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years” (1 Corinthians 6:2-3; Revelation 20:4). The fact that the true church was to be the bride of Christ instead of Israel is the reason why the Rapture of the bride remains a mystery to those without understanding. This concept is misapplied by many Bible prophecy teachers; some teach that the church has eternally replaced Israel in all of Bible prophecy, as highlighted in this recent article written by Terry James: (http://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2013/10/31/replacement-theologofolly/#comments). “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. (AP) BEIRUT – In the midst of a conflict rife with sectarianism, a giant bronze statue of Jesus has gone up on a Syrian mountain, apparently under cover of a truce among three factions in the country's civil war. Jesus stands, arms outstretched, on the Cherubim mountain, overlooking a route pilgrims took from Constantinople to Jerusalem in ancient times. The statue is 40 feet tall and stands on a base that brings its height to 105 feet, organizers of the project estimate. That the statue made it to Syria and went up without incident on Oct. 14 is remarkable. The project took eight years and was set back by the civil war that followed the March 2011 uprising against President Bashar Assad. Christians and other minorities are all targets in the conflict, and the statue's safety is by no means guaranteed. It stands among villages where some fighters, linked to Al Qaeda, have little sympathy for Christians. So why put up a giant statue of Christ in the midst of such setbacks and so much danger? Because "Jesus would have done it," organizer Samir al-Ghadban quoted a Christian church leader as telling him. The backers' success in overcoming the obstacles shows the complexity of civil war, where sometimes despite the atrocities the warring parties can reach short-term truces. Al-Ghadban said that the main armed groups in the area -- Syrian government forces, rebels and the local militias of Sednaya, the Christian town near the statue site -- halted fire while organizers set up the statue, without providing further details. Rebels and government forces occasionally agree to cease-fires to allow the movement of goods. They typically do not admit to having truces because that would tacitly acknowledge their enemies. It took three days to raise the statue. Photos provided by organizers show it being hauled in two pieces by farm tractors, then lifted into place by a crane. Smaller statues of Adam and Eve stand nearby. The project, called "I Have Come to Save the World," is run by the London-based St. Paul and St. George Foundation, which Al-Ghadban directs. It was previously named the Gavrilov Foundation, after a Russian businessman, Yuri Gavrilov. Documents filed with Britain's Charity Commission describe it as supporting "deserving projects in the field of science and animal welfare" in England and Russia, but the commission's accounts show it spent less than $400 in the last four years. Al-Ghadban said most of the financing came from private donors, but did not supply further details. Russians have been a driving force behind the project -- not surprising given that the Kremlin is embattled Assad's chief ally, and the Orthodox churches in Russia and Syria have close ties. Al-Ghadban, who spoke to The Associated Press from Moscow, is Syrian-Russian and lives in both countries. Al-Ghadban said he began the project in 2005, hoping the statue would be an inspiration for Syria's Christians. He said he was inspired by Rio de Janeiro's towering Christ the Redeemer statue. He commissioned an Armenian sculptor, but progress was slow. A series of his backers died, including Valentin Varennikov, a general who participated in the 1991 coup attempt against then President Mikhail Gorbachev. He later sought President Vladimir Putin's backing for the statue project. Varennikov died in 2009. Another backer, Patriarch Ignatius IV, the Lebanon-based head of the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch and All the East, died in 2012. He had donated the land for the statue, according to church official Bishop Ghattas Hazim. By 2012, the statue was ready, but Syria was aflame, causing the project's biggest delay, al-Ghadban said. Majority Sunni Muslims dominate the revolt, and jihadists make up some of the strongest fighting groups. Other Muslim groups along with the 10-percent Christian minority have stood largely with Assad's government, or remained neutral, sometimes arming themselves to keep hard-line rebels out of their communities. Churches have been vandalized, priests abducted. Last month the extremists overran Maaloula, a Christian-majority town so old that some of its people still speak a language from Jesus' time. On Tuesday a militant Muslim cleric, Sheik Omar al-Gharba, posted a YouTube video of himself smashing a blue-and-white statue of the Virgin Mary. Al-Ghadban and the project's most important backer, Gavrilov, weighed canceling it. They consulted Syria's Greek Orthodox Patriarch John Yaziji. It was he who told them "Jesus would have done it." They began shipping the statue from Armenia to Lebanon. In August, while it was en route, Gavrilov, 49, suffered a fatal heart attack, al-Ghadban said. Eventually the statue reached Syria. "It was a miracle," al-Ghadban said. "Nobody who participated in this expected this to succeed."
